I'm surprised there isn't a thread about this yet.

Amnesia is a 2010 first-person survival horror game for the PC made by Frictional Games. The basic premise is you're a young man who's just lost his memory and finds himself in a creepy castle. You find a letter written to yourself with vague details about killing someone named Baron Alexander of Brennenburg. The castle itself is filled with all sorts of monsters who appear at random; you can't fight them and can only either hide from them or run away. The castle is very dark, though, and staying in the dark for too long will deplete your sanity.

Amnesia is known to be so fucking scary it makes grown men scream like little girls.

It also has an upcoming sequel.

This and Fatal Frame are the only scary horror games I've ever played. Dead Space, Resident Evil, House of the Dead, etc. do nothing for me. Amnesia is a true horror game. =D

I haven't eaten a Milky Way since watching that video. And if I see a bag of Milky Ways, I will run.

This game scares the crap out of me. I couldn't finish the game myself so I had to watch it on youtube (with RadBrad).

The atmosphere is creepy and the music really gets your heart pumping. The water monster parts makes me panic everything I watch it.
