OK, so I used the search button and only found threads for AC, AC2 and AC Brotherhood. It seems there's no existing thread on AC Revelations yet, so does that mean I'm allowed to make one? Mods, you give me the go or no signal for this one.

In any case, discuss the game, give your views on it, etc. Will post mine later (though it's pretty obvious based on my user avatar who my favorite character from this game is).

My favorite time period (because I'm such a history nerd) is the Italian Renaissance, coincidentally.
I like the American Revolution too...but I don't know how that will go...

I'm enjoying the game, though I can't help feeling that this one is lacking the specialness that previous entries brought to the table. ACII redefined the gameplay and mechanics from the first game almost to perfection. Brotherhood introduced the brotherhood of assassins which was both fun and rewarding. Revalations has the whole tower defense thing, but it's not really all that fun and takes away from the overall experiemce rather than enhance it, at least to me. That, and the story is getting very convoluted. It was tolerable before, but this is getting into inception-levels of rediculousness. Hopefully ACIII will wrap it up nicely.
