I just bought this game, and found it immensely fun - any other people who have it? (And might, maybe, have a code to swap? :>)

Currently, my team is Waluigi as captain, Monty at the back, and Hammer Bro + Toad at the fron t. Works very well :will:

I thought the original was kinda bland, but I might pick it up for the Wii for online play, its only out in Europe so far correct?

And Australia, I think. I've played the original, and this is honestly far better - it helps a lot that you now can make your team instead of "Captain + random guy x a lot". All sidekicks (you choose three of them) have different abilities, making the game far more interesting.

I have it and I thought it was a bit hard because once youve done the fire cup they never let you use Megastrikes exept if you are by your self on thunder island you used a scecial like wall-ugi

Mweh, I'm on the Knockout bit of the Crystal Cup and I can still do Megastrikes fine. Just have a Hammer Bro knock-out all nearby enemies, pass to your Captain, and go you!

I thought it was too easy first time around.

And unless the online is good I won't pick it up.

As far as I can see, they really upped the difficulty - maybe even a little too much at places. The online is good, luckily - it's fast, asnd you can play against people without having their friend code ._.

I think its better to exchange codes when its out in America, cos I think its kinda boring to just play against people in your own region.
Also in the near future we should make a Wii Friend Code Topic! :redd:

Until then, you can soothe yourself with the fact that we get Super Paper Mario in September :nick:

Ehh, I didn't think much of SPM, it was fun, but waaaay too easy, kinda like New Super Mario Bros. Mario needs to be somewhat difficult again, last few platformers have been way to easy =/

Yeah, I thought SPM was a bit easy as well... then again, have the Paper Mario series ever been truly challenging? At least there's sidequests.
Anyone remember how Luigi made these little airplane noises in SMS and zoomed around? Is that still there?
No, I'm awake.

I still don't get the Wii's online capabilities, since you can only do wii-code games and no matchmaking of any kind. How would you go about ever playing anyone, save perhaps trading Wii codes on forums like this?

Although this seems like the sort of faster paced sports game that's better for playing against a person next to you so you can trash talk.

You can actually just go online and select Ranked mode here, which puts you against a vaguely similarly-ranked random person from your region. No friendcodes needed.

Hmm, interesting. That sounds much more reasonable.

I wonder if they'll do similar for SSBB.

Is it worth getting if you can't get online? Because me and my dad were thinking about picking it up along with an extra Wiimote and playing it in multiplayer/when the family comes around - which is relatively often around here.

Also for Pokemon Battle Revolution you can battle random people and if you enjoyed your battle you can add them to your in game list to battle at anytime. :minuki:

Also match making is kinda useless in a game that is one on one and if its like the original there are not many options to pick from other then which characters you want.

Super Paper Mario is easy indeed but it was sooo awesome. My favourite game on the Wii so far, ahead of Wii Sports, Trauma Centre and Zelda.

Oh, is it one on one? I had assumed you could do at least 2 on 2 play.

Super Paper Mario is without a doubt the worst of the franchise... Man, that's NOT Paper Mario. No turn-based combat, just another Mario platformer. No badges, no involving storyline... It's a good platformer, but not a good Paper Mario game. I was looking forward to this but they ruined it....

My one real complaint is the sound design. It doesn't have close to the visceral power and festival feel of the first game Strikers game.

Otherwise, it's a fabulous sequel with insane multiplayer.

So just how broken IS the Donkey Kong Dry Bones Boo team, exactly?

Game Breaking, or just 'Hard to beat to the point where pussies cry broken'?

i remember i was playing against DK and me and DK did bombs at the exact same time knocking out everyone near DK's goal then the ball just rolled in over kritter's head (he was put underground by the bomb) and into the goal making the final score 60 - 4. i killed DK. he will probably never play football again. im quite good at the game.
