Nintendo Direct is always a grab bag. Again, we may get some localization news, or not at all.

Sorry, but it seems this one is WiiU only.

Oh, well in that case, nothing to see here.

(Pretends the thread was in the police station all along)

The Wii U itself seems really exciting.

Unfortunately none of the launch titles appeal to me. Here's hoping some of the announced titles come soon after.
I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

Give Project P-100 the benifit of the doubt. It was the highlight of L~A's and mine trip to E3 this year. Well, honestly I don't know what L~A liked the most, just that it wasn't my trip alone. But I'll speak for him and say it was his favorite part too. Just ignore him if he starts jumping and screaming in denial.

I actually hadn't heard of P-100 before. I'll have to check it out.

One thing I am glad about is now that the Wii U is the most powerful thing on the market maybe we'll get some more third-party support. (To be honest, most of the "3rd party" games for the 360/PS3 seem to be shooters which are just vague clones off of eachother, but if getting a lot of those make the Wii U popular then no problems here.)

Okay, so Project P-100 has been renamed The Wonderful 101. Still awesome.

Nintendo Land 'better' be the system's bundled software. It's the perfect introduction to all of Nintendo's franchises in a relatively small package and tutorial to what the WiiU is capable of.

That's a nice way of marketing the console and their franchises and never thought of it that way.

There are going to be two SKUs, the regular console bundle at $299 and the premium console bundle at $349. NintendoLand will be included with the premium bundle.

Of the new stuff shown off, I personally can't wait for The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2. Looks like the WiiU is going to have a great launch window.
