Cubivore—a game that I only heard of because it was rated as number nine (or eight) as worst way to die in a video game by GameTrailers.
So, what is this, exactly? This GameCube game? Well, to put it simply, you must kill and eat other cubes (cannibalism of boxes, yes) so you can develop mutations and produce and offspring powerful enough to kill the current King of All Cubivores to become just that.
In order to do this, I've seen mentions of tearing limbs and eating limbs to become more powerful.

Did I mention this game was rated E?

I wish I was joking.

Anyway, I was curious if anyone had ever played this game. If it was fun, sorry to make fun of it; you have to admit the idea sounds... strange :yuusaku:

I've heard about this, but I've never been able to find the game itself. You might note there's a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee called "Alpha" (?) which is for "Future Release". I think it's this game.

Technically it's a Screwattack top 10 and not a GT top 10.

As for the game, It was decent but pretty short.

I also wanted to play it but I could never find it and the few times I did, I found better stuff to play. :yuusaku:

Yep, have it in my collection (well I have every Cube release)... not a bad little game really overall.

Strange. As I've never played Super Smash Bros., except the really old ones once, I guess I wouldn't know. :eh?:

Wouldn't know; I simply saw it while looking through GameTrailers. I liked "their" (or whoever made it first; I dunno, they put their name on it) video on ten top worst movie-made-to-video games (surprisingly, ET was 2nd; of all obscure games, some Charlies Angels was first...) and so I looked up their website. It's about, like I said, top ten worst ways to die in a video game. Somehow, "cannibalistic boxes" sparked my interest.

Neato! Yeah, the idea seemed funny to me (and at the same time, surprisingly graphic for an E rated game, at least to me). I didn't know there were other Cube games, though. What are they about?

Somehow, the game reminds me of Impossible Creatures; never played it, but my bro has. He lost interest in it after a couple of days. It was one of those Microsoft Game Flops, I think. (though, they've apparently made some decent games... dang, forgot the title, but it's like Homeworld and has a really long name) I find it strange that Microsoft makes games...
