Games that pique your curiosity, not one's you are definitely going to buy though... Post it and people on the forum can tell you (if they've played it) if you should get it or not. =D I'm sure Phoenix Wright has done this to you. =P

At the moment, I am interested in the Disgaea series. The characters look great, art style is cute and I've heard it's an SRPG, which I adore. =D

Okami, EBA, Hotel dusk, the two newest spyro games, symphony of whatever, the new Need for Speed, Smash Bros. Brawl, Mega Man Legends... and Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. That's the full list, I think.

I was interested in the first three of those for some time, Mikker. I love all three of them now and Okami is my second favorite game. x3

Yeah, I know. I'd have to be pretty ignorant to be able to miss that people tend to love 'em.

Disgaea is an awesome game, takes patience to really get much of the mechanics down, but once you get it, man is it good. I power level a lot in the Disgaea games, so I have like characters in their 20's or so before the end of the 1st chapter ^^;; and the Reincarnations are great feature too since they lose a few stat points.

I was interested in Shadow of the Colossus, but then bought it up on impulse, so I'm playing it and enjoying it... currently I don't have much games interested that are out, but I do have a few that are coming soon, but don't know if they will come state side.. Like Time Hollow, Draglade, and Ontamarama.

That's right, I'm producing something. Expect something to come out of my new production studio.

Elite Beat Agents is one those games that depend on if you have an interest in what it is about. If you don't have an interest in a rhythm/music games, this game isn't meant for you. EBA is so popular that everyone and their grandmother have played it but it's not meant for everyone. I was one of those people that brought it and just didn't like it. It depends on personal taste, really.

As for Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker: Overall, It's a freakin' LoZ game, plain and simple. The only real differences is that someone slapped Hyrule with a cartoonist's paint brush and decided to try to turn Link into a Pirate. It has a little too focus much on traveling on the ocean for my taste but most people say that's the charm of the game. Plus, considering it has a DS follow-up game says something. I would suggest getting since it's a Player's Choice Title which would let you try it with killing you wallet.

As for games that I'm interested:
Billy Hatcher and The Giant Egg (GC)
Chibi-Robo Park Patrol (DS)
Digimon World: Dusk (DS) (in comparison to the Original Digimon World DS)
Daffy Duck: Duck Amuck (DS)
The Simpsons Game (DS)

I have some Nintendo 64 games I'm wondering about, but I think I'm like the only person here who still actively uses his Nintendo 64. :yuusaku:

I wanna hear more about Kane & Lynch: Dead Men.

The names of the pair set like that intrigued me enough.

Along with Kane's bandage on the nose and Lynch's glasses & hair.

Lost Odyssey

Why?

Here: Best.RPG.Cutscene.Eva!

The rest of the Developer walkthrough was just astounding. I love the character designs (and to those who say otherwise, to an Asian, Kaim is a gorgeous hunk, for the precise reason he does not look like a freaking girl!), I love the story idea, it's got great technical specs (FULL lip-synch to the English track, with A-listers I bet [they're not revealing the cast till later]), and just feels RIGHT.

I admit, battle system is a little old, but I like that roadie-run effect, and sometimes, you get tired of stupid A.I. made by RPG folks (I'm looking at you, FFXII).

Still, the fact these characters actually have a freaking RIGHT to be emo, and don't have to bother with stupid love interests because they clearly have no qualms having HAD children, I'd say it's about damn time there was a JRPG for 13+ year olds.

I'm very interested in Fire Emblem on the handheld systems. I'm also very interested in Contra 4, DQ: Monsters I believe it's called, and Dragon Quest swords.

DQ: Monsters I believe it's called,

Currently playing it. (Relatively) Great graphics (imagine PlayStation era, but with nice cel-shading). The monster selection is great and makes me pretty much wish Nintendo would get the balls to make a full 3D portable adventure.

But, I have a couple of gripes with the amount of grinding needed and the lack of warning when you're facing a monster WAY above your league (which happens even on the FIRST beginning island). It's painful to die, ESPECIALLY since they're using a retarded ONE SAVE system that is also, surprise, NOT SAVE-ANYWHERE but at specific 'scout posts' (there is QuickSave, but it should COMPLEMENT a Save-Anywhere system since you lose the save if you re-enter the game, hence not being able to use the save before a big boss)

Personally though, another great alternative is Monster Rancher DS, which has superior graphics (better than MR2 even!) and an easier learning curve. Getting monsters based on the sounds and drawing you make is ridiculously fun.

I look at the videos of the handheld systems and the ones in 3D, I only see critical hits, which look amazing. Further, I want a game that can last long and test my mind with puzzles(although the occasional mindless shooter is nice). This and the others I have mentioned work for me.

Many people complain that it's slow paced and similar to chess. If you enjoy any of the Final Fantasy Tactics series, you'll probably like FE.

I really want Chibi Robo PP considering how awesome it looks. But ButzPuff, DON'T get Billy Hatcher or the Simpsons game on DS, they are both absolute SHIT! You can complete the simpsons in 1 day and Billy Hatcher is WAY to boring.

Speaking of Chibi.... "Wal-Mart exclusive"? What the hell!? This can't be serious if they're only selling it in... "Wal-Mart".

Is it a terrible game that has to be hidden or something!?

Well, I'm definetly going with your advice about The Simpsons Game (DS) as the more I'm reading about it, the less appealing it's becoming to me. Plus, I played the Wii verison and found one to be much better and more entertaining. But I might still pick up Billy Hatcher since It'll only cost me 5 bucks but thanks for the warnings.

And as far as Chibi-Robo PP goes, I'm gonna have to get on e-Bay since there isn't any WalMart near me. Of course, I'm waiting a while on that game. :yuusaku:

Well they're fun if your into a slower paced game than most. Of course I'm not saying that's bad. You see, the rounds are Turn Based: Player's Turn > Alley's Turn > Enemy's Turn > Other's Turn and rinse and repeat, so basically all of your units go, then all the enemies, which sometimes makes the time between times when you can actually do things vary. Into the gameplay itself... Well to describe all of it would take the On Topicness of a Fire Emblem thread, but the most important thing to know is that a unit of yours dies, then they are gone for the rest of the game, just like real life. No "Why couldn't you use a Phoenix Down here."

On their length, it varies. The earlier chapters go by fast, but as the games progress separately, the number of units you have and the computer has both increase, with the computer usually having the weapon and number upper hand.

On interest, I have to say that the story is done rather well, being able to handle so many characters at a time and giving them all interesting designs and personalities.

Hopefully that's enough information to get you more interested. There needs to be a stronger following of the Fire Emblem in America series I mean, and to quote Smash-san himself on the Fire Emblem Theme "In Japan, the lyrics used in commercials are quite famous..." Why can't such a great series of games that really make you think strategically be that hard to get popular in America?

Wow, that got a little longer than I expected... Basically, if you have any questions about Fire Emblem, don't hesitate to ask me, or anyone else for help.

Perhaps it would have helped if NoA had translated and released the earlier games instead of sitting on a gold mine and, you know, ignoring it, as they were oft to do in those times?

Pretty much any core 3-D Mario game - the sidescrolling ones just don't satisfy my thirst - and and Mario rpg. I'm also quite anxious to play my roster of PS2 games:

-Jak II
-Persona 3
-Shadow of the Colossus
-Final Fantasy X
-Sly Cooper & The Thievius Raccoonus
-Ratchet & Clank
-Gran Turismo 4
-Kingdom Hearts
-Devil May Cry
-Disgaea - Hour of Darkness
-Xenosaga
-Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner
-God of War
-Destroy All Humans

I was thinking about Okami but that's been pushed down on my list of priorities. First, I play these games.

In addition, I'm looking forward to Mass Effect, the Halo series, Assassin's Creed, The Darkness, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Forza Motorsport 2, and Call of Duty 4 for the Xbox 360.

For the Wii there's Brawl...and that's about it!

...Sort of. There's also Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, Mega Man ZX Advent, and Moerro! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii! Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! 2 for the DS.

14 Kingdom Hearts
6 Devil May Cry
3 Disgaea - Hour of Darkness
10 Xenosaga
4 Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner
12 God of War
11 Destroy All Humans

There's the best order for your PS2 library.

Avoid The Darkness like the plague, it's a cookie-cutter FPS with a tacky game mechanic... every level feels exactly the bloody same. Also, Assassin's Creed, stay away. Repetitive, uninteresting crap... trust Ubisoft to ruin a bloody fine concept. :(

I see no problems. D:

Though, if you like yourself some rhythm game, you'll want to try Nodame Cantabile and Taiko Drum Master... also give Daigasso! Band Brothers a shot if you haven't already.
