Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is out! :DTopic%20Title

I'm currently heading back to the main dungeon after completing the first dungeon. The boss was even easier than I remember him to be in the Japanese version. :S

Touch screen controls work fantastically, in case anyone is worried about the control change. >.>

As soon as I get the cash, I'm definitely picking up this game. It looks very promising.

Currently at 39% on ndash's overloaded premium links, can't wait to play.
I didn't bother to go further than the first temple in the japanese version, because I needed to have gamefaqs at my side 24/7

Re: Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is out! :DTopic%20Title

I finished the third dungeon in the Japan version, and I had done all the salvages available.

Just tried salvaging the Sun Key now, and I broke my crane arm, I didn't make a single mistake during my salvage trips in the JPN version. ._.

Anyway, I've just started the third dungeon.

I take back what I said about the controls... :S

The controls made the 4th Dungeon Boss, quite the bitch to beat.

It's on my list of games to buy, but with so much coming out it will probably have to wait until next year. I have about a dozen titles ahead of it, after all. Damn you, Nintendo, releasing almost everything good in November!

A game without challenge isn't much of a game. I like a little difficulty in my games, makes things more interesting that way.

It's recommended.
PH is a sequel to WW like Majora's Mask to Ocarina of Time.

If it's really like Majora's Mask to Ocarina of Time, no, you don't have to play Wind Waker at all.

^True true. I played Majora's Mask before Ocarina of Time. And people here have played JFA before the first PW.

I can't wait for this game but I don't think I can afford it once it comes out (In Europpah~). I'll probably buy it later, then :3

You know, it was not until I played Twilight Princess that I started to like the WW art style, and I have sort of missed it since then.
Re: Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is out! :DTopic%20Title

Well, I finished it. In typical Zelda fashion I didn't die once. :D

Final battle was very disappointing. :(

This game is awesome, for a handheld. The bit of the main dungeon with the nightengale floors had me puzzled for a while...and the third boss, the one that looked like parasect, was cool.

I beat fourth dungeon boss pretty easily...that dungeon was a lot easier then the third dungeon. Currently stuck on fifth dungeon.
Re: Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is out! :DTopic%20Title

How strange... I found the fifth dungeon to be the easiest in the game. O_o

You are talking about the Goron dungeon, correct?

Oui. Yeah, I was just stuck on that bit with the wall that you had to blow up but there was no crack...it threw me off. But yeah, the dungeon was easy after that. This game is pretty easy, except for some parts of the main dungeon. Although the sixth boss had me confused. All the bosses are wellmade, but not hard enough to kill.

^ Yes! The chickens are awesome! Is there anybody that the chickens can't beat?

But yeah, I just bought this game. I only started playing it, so I'm not very far. But so far, I'm loving the controls uniqueness.

Well, it gets boring after you do everything there is to do...so i'm replaying through it without getting any of the heart pieces. That always makes them harder. Well, it worked for metroid prime, anyways.

theres a statue on the island which you have to activate

after you have activated it and followed the instructions you just have to plant a bomb to where the light shows

I've just finished this game, and I must say, none of the shoutings of disappointment by people were true. Linebeck's probably the best Zelda character ever, the controls make the game feel actually new, and the bosses (the later bosses, at least) were top class. I thoroughly enjoyed this game, and would recommend it to anyone :)

I bought this a week ago and I'm near the end. I have the
Spoiler:
Phantom Sword
, but I'm trying to find everything collectable before entering the final dungeon. I know I won't have patience to find all the treasures AFTER I have finished the game, so I'm doing it before.

Oh yeah, I love the game. It's one of the best Zelda's on a handheld.

I got just about everything, and have now started a new game cause im bored.

I must admit,
Spoiler:
killing a phantom for the first time was incredibly satisfying. unusually so, in fact.

I just got this game yesterday, beat the first dungeon, and got to that Secret Hideout island place-with the adventurer and the dissapointed son. I love the ship music when you board the ship. It's the same them that plays with the cutscene when you start the game.

I kinda beat the game for the 2nd time a few weeks ago and...
Spoiler: Final Boss/special weapon
the battle against possessed Linebeck was a bit too easy and I do think killing the phantoms with the phantom sword were satisfying according to Brandon Strong

the game was awesome but it could've been a bit longer.

Fourth.

I just finished it just now while in the bath tub and while I found the last battles way too easy, using the Hourglass was AWESOME. Also, Linebeck has to be one of the coolest characters ever.
