You know the little symbols next to threads? (either paper, a manila envelope, a psyche lock, or in Croiks case, an occasional magatama?) Well, why on earth do those symbols change and what do they stand for? Yes, I even want to know about Croiks magatama. ![]() |

Just go to any part of the forum, like Wright and Co. Law Offices, and they will have a key with what each symbol means at the bottom of the page. |

The Magatama and Missle icons are for announcements that appear on every subforum, though to be honest I'm not sure what the difference between them is.... |

Ergo, a topic with posts that you havem't read yet. If they have a footprint/exclamtion mark on them, you've posted at some time or other in that topic. |

Brawldud wrote: ![]() Them's the facts. What's the difference between the popular thread icons and the not-so-popular thread icons? The icons look the same to me. |

There is no difference, but there used to be on the old forums and I believe there was a difference on here when the forums first started, but since this place got pimped out, there hasn't been anything there to tell them apart anymore. I know popular topics used to have 25+ responses, but with as many members and responses we have now, pretty much every thread is going to end up popular anyways. |

Well, you certainly can tell the difference in the WHAT A!? forum. |
