No, nobody liked him and he was a nuisance. I was egging Tinker on to ban him a long time ago (eventually did happen although I don't know who or what did it) and we were both surprised when he came back, since we were under the impression that it was a permaban.

To put it simply, we're aware of the issue.

Here's the issue as it is. With dreamhost, we're on a shared server. Which is the equivalent of being hosted in an apartment. We've got for all intents and purposes unlimited disk space and bandwidth, so things are all well and good.

The problem is we've got so many people asking for files at the same time that Dreamhost's server can't give our neighbors the level of service they need. To give an example, a single request for a 5 meg file puts less strain on the server then 80 requests for smaller files totaling 5 megs.

So Dreamhost did the best thing they could, given the circumstances, and throttled us.

Not really ... The pages still don't load well, and when I want to look at the official art for example, I have to reload the page two or three times before it shows up.

They throttled us because of increased activity, so by reloading pages over and over you're making it worse.

I've got another question that's been bothering me for a while.

Can anyone tell me what happens if I delete the board cookies? I just need to know before I end up doing something that I completly regret .

If your post is the last post in a thread and you edit it before anyone else posts in it, it won't "announce" that you edited it. Otherwise, that message shows up at the bottom of the post. I don't think you can get rid of it.

Erm... when I check my profile, it no longer provides me with a "Most Active Forum" or "Most Active Topic" statistic. Why is that?

It means they're prepping your profile for a banning.

When you receive a warning, let's say, oh, for spam (just an example), does that warning ever "expire" with good behavior or is a permanent skid mark on your record?

So... they're prepping all of the four highest posting members of CR for banning. Makes sense...

I'm not saying all of you are massive spammers, maybe you stay on topic. *Shrug* There's likely a logical reason that they aren't showing.
