Why can't I make a new topic in Bakers Street?

I can post a reply if I'm on a topic but I can't make a new thread. This doesn't seem to be happening anywhere else (as you can guess)

I think it's because you need 50 posts? Correct me if I'm wrong but I remember reading that in the rules.

You need to have a few more posts in order to be eligible to create threads. It's an anti-speam measure. I don't know the exact amount of posts you need, but I know it's not that much
