Well with spring nearly here we'll be getting the usual line up of CGI movies from Dreamworks and Pixar. This year, it's Dreamworks' How to Train Your Dragon, in theaters March 26. While the first trailer pretty much introcute the protagonist and the main dragon, I found myself dissinterested until the second trailer came out. It looks like it'll be a descent movie, even with the Real3D stuff.

I won't mark it as Best Animated Feature, but I think I'll like it. Thoughts?

Looks pretty good to me. It's got dragons and some absolutely magnificent beards.

That's enough for me to want to see it. XD

I want to see it!
Even thought I'm not usually too keen on Dreamworks.
Additionally I'm not seeing it in 3D because that shit gives me headaches. Also, its not real 3D ya know?

should be fun!

Real3D...that's the name giving to the glasses at my theater. Anyway, I found Toothless' design quite intriguing myself.

I hope to watch it...In normal.... No 3-D but I don't think I'll have such luck... All the theaters for a long ways all love this 3-D Craze and probably will not get the normal version...

That's because the dragon was designed by Chris Sanders aka the creator of Lilo and Stitch. He's co-directing the movie itself :3

Eh, Real3D, 2D, CD, DVD, it doesn't matter with me. I'll watch it when it comes out next Friday. Especially now I know Chris Sanders has co-directed it. Should have figured Toothless looked familiar.

Heartily recommended.

Definitely seeing this...it looks like fun.

Not gonna see it in 3D, though--my mom can't watch 3D movies, and I don't really care either way, so yeah.

I went to see it yesterday, and I must say I LOVE Toothless! Especially when he tries to smile~ I would definitely recommend watching it. I love Dreamworks movies, and this one was no exception. It's a perfect example of why I love Dreamworks.

It's a fantastic animated film and it even sports a very good moral for children to follow: "Knowledge is more powerful than weapons." The events unfolded evenly and there was a reason for everything to happen the way it did, the action scenes were epic (how could anything involving dragons shooting fire at each other not amaze?), and even the dragons themselves were unique. Dreamworks have outdone themselves with this movie; I'd even call it their magnum opus, topping Shrek, Antz, and Kung Fu Panda.

I've said it before but I'll say it again: Pixar's films may be more consistent in quality, but the good movies that Dreamworks makes are very good.

DID YOU JUST SLIGHT PIXAR NOW YOU MUST DIE

Joking, obviously.

I went to see this movie and it completely surpassed my expectations. Toothless was adorable and reminded me of my cat in far too many ways, especially the scene where Hiccup tried to grab hold of his tail. The animation was beautiful, although that part where Hiccup and that girl (ack, forgot her name) flew through clouds and the northern lights appeared was a bit much. The dragon designs were awesome, and when Hiccup flicked through that book with all the dragon script I nearly had a spaz attack from the awesomeness.

And the music was simply amazing. Gotta love Scotland~

I've watched it this Monday and I LOVED it!!! The characters (both humans and dragons) are awesome and the story is really nice too. I liked the end, It's not something you see really often in movies... My favorites dragons are Toothless and the Terrible Terror (The REALLY small dragon). My favorites characters are... Pretty much all the kids, with a small preference for Astrid and Snotlout!
