Sakura and Tomoyo ARE cousins. Sonomi and Nadeshiko are cousins, so I would think that they're daughters would also be cousins.

My childhood favorite besides pokemon...Because of it I would wave around an umbrella and jump from couch to couch pretending to be Sakura.

Kind of makes me wish that it got more hype in the US...But to be honest I like the English dub...I consider it not as bad as other censored child safe dubs.

And Syaoran/Sakura is one of the few canon ships that I like.

I fucking loved Sakura, it played a major role during my childhood. Also, many guys used to label whoever watched it as "gay", but at home watched it as well. 8 out of every 10 male Sakura fans never admitted to watching it.

I have even downloaded the Portuguese version of the opening theme 'cause it's so damn good.

And Card Captor was pretty filled with... diverse pairings. We have the pedophilliac TeacherxStudent - she's only 9! and the Second Cousins one-sided love on Tomoyo's side, perhaps Sumire had a crush on Nadeshiko, we have gay Yukito and Toya, semi-pedophilliac KahoxEliot and Fujitaka with Nadeshiko, etc, etc

I liked the manga... it's kind of cute and I liked the artstyle. Parts of it felt... too Shoujo... just... too happy, flowery and fuzzy feelingy. Like even if it's a dramatic chapter nothing bad will happen. I read the German translation of the manga and something they changed for one volume only, because it was important to the plot, was Shiaolan calling Sakura by her name.
In all the previous volumes, they called each other Shiaolan and Sakura. In this one, they had Sakura call him Li, his family name. Him calling her Sakura was a big plot thingy, but having read Sakura and Shiaolan so often, just for one chapter to have Li and Sakura asking if first-name basis is alright... kinda lost its purpose.
The English dubbed Sailor Moon did the same thing!

Only read the manga, never watched the movies or the anime.
I tried watching the anime, I have the first DVD with Episode 1 - 4, but somehow I couldn't get friendly with Yukito's white hair having been made gray for the sake of the anime's coloring and several other light-haired ones being suddenly darkbrown in the anime. I know white hair in manga can range from blond to brunette, but here it just seemed wrong.
And I didn't like it how they changed the amount of cards from 16 to 51, especially since some of the anime cards seemed to have the same purpose. Maybe it's just me, but if I had a Watery Card, I'd think it would be capable to bring rain, if necessary.

Around here it was on the "normal" CN schedule at... 6PM if I'm not mistaken. Toonami was late at night, like 12AM or so.
