LONG Resume+Review (the review is "written" inside the resume, my feelings towards this are quite expressed):
The movie started up... somewhat disturbing. I mean, Goku tries to do some magicks, and, when he fails, Grampa Gohan tells him "You still aren't ready. You'll be one day.", to which Goku replies "One day I'm gonna beat you", or something like that.
...Who goes around telling their 70-year old grampas they're gonna beat them?
This reflects one of my points to say that "the writing is awful".
Then, Goku starts the sentimental blabbering mode on, and starts with that "I wanna be normal" crap that never even showed up ONCE on Goku during the DB/DBZ/DBGT series (if I'm not wrong, never showed up on ANYONE).
And, of course, ignoring that his grandchild just threathened to beat the heck outta him, Grampa Gohan gives the 4-Star Dragon Ball to Goku, as a birthday present.
Cut, next scene, Goku at school. Suddenly, from out of the blue, a yellow car runs over his bike. Too bad. Then, as if someone having destroyed his means of transport wasn't enough, this black guy appears and starts bullying him, as in calling him "Giko". Best. Bully. Ever.
Oh, BTW, to this, Goku reacted looking like if he was strained. Seriously, I'm not exaggerating.
OK, then, inside school, Goku falls in love with Chi-Chi, and helps her open her locker, with an incredibly rapid hability to blow up his magical cover. So, she know knows he can use Ki. Whatever. So, anyway, she invites him to her party that night, and he says he'd be there.
Later that night, while Grampa Gohan enjoys him some chicken leg and roasted ducks, Goku runs away to Chi-Chi's. Too bad, Grampa Gohan had made a cake.
At Chi-Chi's party, the bully black guy's people started bullying Goku, so he decides to use Extreme Gandhi's "Beat The Hell Out of Them Without Even Touching Them and Making them Look Like Idiots" method, so used this days on action movies. So, after the black guy bully ends up destroying his own car, Chi-Chi admits she loved seeing Goku make this dude break a car's window with his fist. Love is born. Goku tells Chi-Chi he would know what had happened to his parents from his grampa when he was 18. And he was that day, so, once he got home, he would ask Gohan to-
Oops! Goku feels Grampa Gohan is in danger and leaves Chi-Chi. Bye, Chi-Chi.
So, Goku gets to his place and finds the house had been destroyed by Rapper Piccolo and Mai, with Grampa Gohan inside, almost dead. "You must get the 7 Dragon Balls before Piccolo or the end of the world will be soon, go to Master Roshi."
On the way to Master Roshi's, Goku encounters Bulma. Her character is not that bad. No, not at all. It's... pretty good for itself. For itself, don't think A LOT about the anime. Remember that while watching it, and you'll probably enjoy it.
So, they team up, and go to the next location.
Once they find Master Roshi, he decides to "train" Goku by making him carry a lot of empty backpacks while running behind the Capsule Corp. Bike-pod. But, they crash, and get into burglar Yamcha's whole.
Later that night, Master Roshi discovers he can fly off the whole, and gets off, converting Yamcha into a good guy by just looking at him.
So, they head off, and, every time Goku touches a Dragon Ball, he sees the future. Apparently, according to Master Roshi, Goku will have to defeat "The Ozharuu" to beat Piccolo. Yeah, I know. It's not even a giant, and it's not even a monkey.
While being persued by Mai, they get to the temple where Master Roshi studied Martial Arts. The old man tries to teach the Kame-Hame-Ha to Goku, but fails.
But, then comes Chi-Chi, and presents a hotfunny puzzle:
"There are 5 torches in this hall. You are 5 steps away from me. How many apples does the farmer have inside the basket? If you lit them all, you'll be right next to me.
Of course, Goku manages to lit all the torches, and he and Chi-Chi make out.
So, Mai appears and steals all the Dragon Balls dressed as Chi-Chi. Yeah.
They head to where Piccolo and Mai are. Piccolo tells Goku HE is "The Ozharuu", who apparently takes orders from Piccolo. So, he turns into it, and kills Roshi. He then snaps out of his transformation, and beats Piccolo with a Kame Hame Ha. He then gathers the Dragon Balls and gives life to Roshi. What a waste of 3D Shenron and super special (yes, awesome) effects, guys.
So, after everything, the Dragon Balls are spreaded.
Bulma: "Shall we search for them again?"
Goku: "I gotta do something first."
Chi-Chi appears in a training hall, Goku rushes into the hall and kisses Chi-Chi, and the movie ends when Goku's fist and Chi-Chi's kicking-feet collide. The end.
