Blink was pretty good. I liked it more than the previous "Doctor-lite" episode.

Jack is back next week. :D :D :D

Blink was excellent! Even being a Doctor-lite episode, it is one of my favorite episodes now. Even though it essentially is a 'standard' predestined future paradox story, it was done very well IMHO. And man, those statues really creeped me out.

Blink was one of the best 1-parters yet! And it was billed as the scariest episode yet too, although the empty gas mask children took that prize for me in series 1, urgh.
42 was a bit too much like "impossible Planet" for me.
Next episode, "Utopia" is going to rock, leading up to the season finalé. *rubs hands expectantly*

I have realised a fault - a time paradox - that even the doctor cannot explain in Blink. Its complicated, but try and keep up, my wording may not be always clear.

Sally never went back or forwards in time, she followed the linear present timeline. When she meets the doctor at the end, the doctor has yet to visit the creepy house west of Drumlins, so how has he already written on the wall, and already got sent back in time before she gets there? He only visited afterwards, after she gives him the package.
Also, how can he be reading the script that is only being written as he says it? It's like the chicken and the egg conundrum.
Finally, yes the doctor tricked the monsters into looking at each other, but they can move when the lights are out, as is shown when Sally is trying to open the Tardis. Surely, as soon as the lights go back out, they can look away from each other as they cannot see and go back to terrorising people?

It's all wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff. Yes, it's one of the many paradoces in time travelling, predestination paradox and ontological paradox are stuff that often occur in these kinds of stories.

The big question is of course why they didn't blink with just one eye ;) (as stated in the podcast commentary XD)

They could have done that, or for the earlier stages, taking turns in blinking, one blinks, then the other and so on..

Still think that as soon as the lights go out in that car park place they can move away again and continue rampaging.

EDIT: Ah, I see, a 'Time Loop Paradox' - the inability to determine the origin of an object that was passed back in time, and inevitably passed back again creating a loop...

I wasn't expecting the Master this episode (though he was supposed to appear in the next) and I was thinking of skipping this episode. But the slow unraveling about the Professor (the genius, the drums and voices) really build up this episode to a great climax! Can't wait for next week ^_____^

Ah, I already knew Jack was immortal. GO GO ALIEN LESBIAN SEX GORE SWEARING SHOW aka Torchwood.
HOWEVER EVERYTHING ELSE WAS A COMPLETE SURPRISE. I was seriously screaming 'OH MY GOSH!' at the top of my voice for the last half of the episode.

Well...the editing on the previews are always used to make the episode seem different to what it actually is.
And the only time we ever see Martha on the previews is when she's getting kidnapped. :nick:

Omg, this forums has a Doctor Who thread. <3

The 3rd season has been good so far. I really enjoyed watching Blink, awesome episode.

Spoiler:
The plot twists in this season has been great. The Master is back ( played by marvelous John Simm) and I hope that the last episodes are good. But it's too bad that we didn't see much Daleks...

I'm kind of bored how the Doctor and other talk about Rose in every episode. It's time let Martha stand out. We don't know much about her, anyway.

When he said, "You don't want to know, it would break your heart" I guessed they may be Time Lords, but thinking back, the Master knew not of the Time Lords death, or of the Time War itself for that matter.

I can only think they are the spawn of Daleks or something else pivotal to the Doctor's life.

I have a feeling it might be related to the people who went in the rocket to "Utopia". After all, we don't know what happened to them.

<3 the references to Torchwood and old DW in that ep though.

Yesterday's episode was interesting and quite hilarious. XD Absolutely loved the new Master.

Spoiler: The Sound of Drums
But what's with that old Doctor? How he can do that to him if he never gets old?

Yey, the future of earth depends on Martha. Finally we see her standing out and being an important character. ^^

Blink is far the best episode. I tend to not to watch the others. Blink was, brilliant.
We're thinking of doing a spoof on the angels for a acting performance. That'd be scary
