Not so surprised, the series went majorly downhill starting with the Goblet of Fire.

If other people are smart it's no surprise they are avoiding it :yuusaku:

Half Blood Prince was actually good, I found. Though I am a fanboy.

But still, G-Force. The fact that it sold good, never mind beat HARRY POTTER, is just... ugh.

So one blowtastic (childrens) book come movie series gets knocked off by a childrens movie.

That is how it goes, how does that have anything to do with humanity, unless what people see at the movies is now the judge for the worth of humanity and then I'll say this, either way we are screwed if alien life comes to judge us by our movies..

There is so much more to lose faith over and gain it too.

Least G-Force is not pretentious and over reached itself through convoluted stories which could been summed up in one book and sticks to what it is, a fun little movie for kids to enjoy and parents to put up with.

I wouldn't put G-Force down so much, the target market is children....and it's cute and fun looking I don't see why kids wouldn't wanna see it.

I really had low hopes for Half-Blood Prince after the travesty that was Order of the Phoenix and was even considering not going to see it. I went anyway though, and I was somewhat shocked at how much better it was than the last one. It kept to the book pretty well and didn't cut a terrible amount of content out. It had a decent amount of humour in there and there was fairly good acting and CGI. The only thing I was really disappointed about was the very short Quidditch scene and the lack of a conclusive battle, like there was in the book, especially considering OotP's only redeeming quality was it's fight at the end.

Don't get me wrong, I don't regard it as an amazing film. It was just a lot better than I expected.

I'm not saying it didn't cut a lot out, but it kept most of the important stuff in, especially compared to the previous films.
