I liked the fact that Catherine Tate wasn't as annoying or irritating as she was in The Runaway Bride. Can't wait to find out which classic villian has be resurrected for this series.

Posting three days late WOOOO BRINGIN' DOWN THE HOUSE

But yeah, though I feel extremely geeky when watching it, I love Doctor Who and was very excited for the new series. Saturday's episode was fairly good and had a lot of nice foreshadowing ("something on your back" much?) and I'm stoked to see where the rest of the series will go.

I think the two episodes so far in this series have been pretty awful. It'll be interesting to see how they manage to resurect
Spoiler: Dr Who Resurected Villan (probably)
Davros. The people who make the toys apparently announced a "Series 4 remote controlled Davros, so it's probably him.

If they are going to bring him back, that'd be so cool. And it also makes sense as well.

I mean, there's only one Dalek left in existence now (after the events of the third series), so who else would be able to 'make' more?

Phh. I liked the two episodes so far, and I don't mind Donna. She's a lot more well rounded now than she was before. Next episode is Planet of the Ood. Despite a lot of people finding them wierd and icky, I think the Ood are cute :3 If very susceptibe to mind control. XD

Oooooooh... Hello.

It is the same Logic Sword, do you think anyone else would take this name?

Back on topic: Why can't they do it in serials like in the old series? It would mean that the stories would last longer and may actually be decent.

I'm quite interested by episode 7's title: The Doctor's Daughter. The only (I think) other relative we've met was his grand daughter in the first series, so it'll be nice to add some more to the family tree...

I bet it won't even be his daughter though...

I sure hope so. Also, just today I watched "Doctor Who And The Daleks" On UKTV Gold. It was amazing, and kinda funny. But not bad for 1965, I guess. The Daleks were all colourful and stuff. :P

From what I've heard, "The Doctor's Daughter"...

Spoiler:
Is a clone of him made by some organization or the other (UNIT?) but I don't know any details. Only thing I've spoiled for myself (courtesy Wiki)

Also, Voyage of the Damned is on Scifi tonight in the US. I've already seen it, but my mom wants to watch too, so I'll rewatch it.

Planet of the Ood tomorrow woooo

*claps* I saw it, I saw it! ...But it wasn't all THAT good. Pretty, uh, I dunno. Bland. But was it just me, or did the Ood at the end say that the Doctor would die soon?

Here's your answer (well, at part four it is...)

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4

The Doctor isn't dying this series, they're making 3 specials next year and David Tennant is the Doctor in them, so...

New Sauce

I think Donna might die.

Is it me or was that bit at the end where that bloke transformed in to an Ood really gross? Especially that bit where the second brain plopped out.

Nooo!! I think Donna is the best assistant, because she doesn't fancy the Doctor. She's hilarious.
Spoiler: Next Week's Episode
I'm not that excited about Martha being on next week. I think she's the worst assistant. I'm looking forward to the one with Rose, though. ^_^

I don't like them bringing Rose back. She's better than Martha, but she's trapped on the other side of the wall and so it should be impossible without everything screwing up. There'll be about 50 plot holes in the one episode she returns, probably.

Planet of the Ood was okay... certainly better than the other two and so was Catherine Tate.

Spoiler: Planet of the Ood
The oodifying bit was disgusting, but only the bit where he was unpeeling his head. The brain bit lacked grossness when you'd seen the brains a few minutes earlier.

And of course they look funny, what would doctor who be without funny looking monsters?

Well, according to the rumor mill...

Spoiler: Rose
The reason for Rose's return (and the finale) is that Donna and the Doctor rescuing the family in episode two messed with the timeline badly, and as such things are starting to fall apart at the seams, as it were. Of course there'll probably be some other reason, but that one works for me.

Sort of looking forward to next week's. It'll be nice to see Martha again (though she was a bit underwhelming in Torchwood) but the episode is written by Helen Raynor (I think that's the name, not sure) who did the fairly poor "Daleks in Manhattan"/"Evolution of the Daleks" last year.

Now that I've had a chance to see it, much better than expected (well, except the chanting at the end, that was just corny.) Fun times with Donna's family.

The "dying" Doctor could well be a reference to the fact that Russell T Davies said that he was not making any more Doctor Who after this series. :p Except from the specials, but no more actual Doctor Who series. Or so I've heard, many many times.

I am enjoying the new season. Can't wait for the ROSE explanation! :D
