Which leads to answering the million dollar question: "Are twihards that damn delussional?" I think they gave birth to another Heaven's Gate only for vampires & horror literature now.

Welp, congratulations, Looby. You've predicted how the planet will end.

But still, this is immensely stupid, but then again, it's humanity... whaddya expect? Just when you think the stupidity well's dried up, it goes down for another few miles...

Jesus mutherfucking Christ.

2011: Twilight becomes a synonym of AIDS, and the world sighs with relief.

2012: Stephanie Meyer has been elected President of the United States, leading to the greatest economical downfall of History.

More at eleven.

By the way, am I the only one realizing that all those teenagers are, with no exceptions, extremely horrible?

So you're saying that the Mayans predicted Twilight being the cause of the destruction of the world? Oh my...

Twilight fangirls give teenagers a bad name nowadays. I was forced into this stupid hair salon or whatever to get ready for my Aunt's wedding, and the first thing the lady who was doing my hair said was, "So, are you a Twilight fan?" I would've face-palmed right then and there if I wasn't supposed to stay still. Man, how I hate Twilight fans and haters... Always causing so many problems. Luckily for me, all of the Twilight fans at my school last year were those quiet kids that love to read and don't really get into the stupid crazes much, so they kept to themselves about it most of the time. The only bad thing Twilight related that happened to me was when my school's Video Production team [when I wasn't in it] decided to make a video making fun of the Twilight movie, I ended up being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I was at PE when they decided to film the volleyball scene, so I had to be one of the extras to get credit for PE that day. Me and a friend of mine just threw things at eachother and stuff out of boredom while we were waiting for them to finish up. I'm going to high school next year though, so I have to cross my fingers and hope that there won't be many obsessed Twilight freaks there.

I really, really hate anyone who has a strong opinion of twilight. They're so fucking annoying, especially when everything the haters talk about is how it's a piece of crap.

Also, there was this shirt at a comicon (:f) that said "yeah i'm on team WHO GIVES A F$%!" and I saw some fat girls laughing about it.
ohhhh dear.

When I was talking to my aunt recently, one of the first things she said was, "...do you like twilight?"

I've heard some crazy stuff about the Twilight fandom, but I didn't think they would go so far as to try to eat each other. I feel bad for the fans that are actually sane. ._.

It's as if Twilight gave rebirth to cannibalism all over again and now these fans think after reading & seeing Twilight they are now vampires by spreading STDs to their bfs & gfs.

Stephanie actually wrote a good book [obviously not related to the Twilight series at all], but no one notices it because too many people obsess over the horribly written series and everyone else is either attracted to it by the popularity and doesn't notice anything NOT related to Twilight or is appalled by the author because of that series and refuses to read any of her books because of it. It really is unfortunate because, ignoring the cheesy romance that resembles Twilight a bit that only pops up near the end, the plot is actually really good and the way it's written in the perspective of two people in one body is just... well written, I guess.

I hope you're just trying to be funny, 'cause that would be kind of fucked up, y'know. It's okay for someone to like a book, whether others like it or not, but being obsessed is another thing. Just remember: Fans aren't a problem. Obsessive fans and haters are the problems. Haters don't help anything and just fuel the obsessive fans' fire, and as for the obsessive fans... it's pretty obvious what their problem is.

My point is proven, then. If she can actually write something GOOD, can't you obsess over that?

It wasn't the writing [though it wasn't very good] that was the most terrible part of Twilight. It was the plot, characters, publicity, and various other things, which are improved upon in another book of hers. I doubt you even read any of her books. The quote I live by is "You can't hate it properly unless you've read it yourself. Anyone else is just a bandwagon hater." You can easily see how that quote applies to you, yes?

WRONG ANSWER!
THE CORRECT ANSWER WAS...
Stephen King!? That idiot!? Huh, you were right after all, ChocolateXCheese. If the writer of such utter shit as The Shining, Carrie, The Dead Zone, Misery and The Dark Tower series says that Meyer can't even write her goddamn name, then she must be really good.

Fucking bandwagon haters.

I read a five-page excerpt from Breaking Dawn in which an emergency C-section by vampire teeth was being performed on a few-days-pregnant Smella, who just had her ribs and spine broken by the violent kicking of the werewolf baby she was somehow having with Special Ed.

That was all I needed. It was so hilariously bad.

Oddly enough, as much as I rip on it, I'm glad it's around. More crazies in the Twilight fandom means less crazies in my fandoms.

So I say thank you, Stephenie Meyer. Thank you for making things quieter in my fandoms for a few years. (Yes, I say a few years, because let's face it... after the Breaking Dawn movies are released, it'll be over and gone, leaving only a bad taste in Twitards' mouths... like a shit-laced shot glass of saccharine.)

... You don't even need to torture yourself by reading the whole thing to find things to hate on and make fun of. Just skim and you'll find something about every two paragraphs or maybe even less, I swear...

And I could've sworn people were hating on the books most of the time. Is most of the hate really on the movies? If it is, those haters are missing out on a lot of hate-worthy material. The books are far worse than the movies [except for the first movie. That was just...ugh. I hate my friends/mother for dragging me there].

I thought neck/shoulder biting is pretty commonplace during sex anyway. And one of my friends used to like biting us really really hard randomly about 5 years before the series came out. It's not that big a deal. Chomping is fun.
Just gonna stand there and watch me burn?

Let's just put this to rest, most Twihards are unlovable irritating fans. As if some of the worst of every fandom came together to form one seething cultural leech. Twilight in book or movie form has absolutely NOTHING to recommend it to people with a modicum of taste. I've read the first book and started the second but couldn't get past the first fifty pages. Honestly, they should read this series to use as torture.

Anyway, most hate of this series is warranted whether it's been read or not. A big thing is what it has done to modern literature. I mean, think back some of the best writers of the past were (and with warrant) people like F. Scott Fitzgerald, J.D. Salinger, and the likes. They had works of art that are remembered for the right reasons, they were good. Twilight has dumbed down a huge fucking majority of the readers of the coming generation, MY generation. And it disgusts me.

While I know that "Teen" sections aren't the best place to look for great literature, I've found some gems in there. Some had great plots (laugh if you must but the Percy Jackson series) or some had some good writing with slightly "eh" plot points (the Last Apprentice series), these were series I found without having to trawl through a good shovels worth of shit vampire novels. If the literature catered to the future generation is "Twilight" then we might not ever see great opuses such as "The Great Gatsby" or "The Kite Runner".

I fear for my generation.

Now my rant is over, the whole neck biting thing has been around, but nothing like this, blood sharing and actual bodily wounds that could get infected. This this is the shit that spreads AIDS. Seriously.

Oh gawd, that reminds me. I REFUSE to go into the Teen Section in my local Borders anymore because all it has is vampire books. That's it. Might as well rename it the Twilight/Twilight Wannabe Section. All the other Teen books have been shoved into ONE little shelf in the corner that carries a few of my favorites like the Percy Jackson series and the Mysterious Benedict Society series, and the rest are cheesy romance books. The Teen Section is a like a living hell for me, with a few pieces of gold inside that I have to sift through flesh-burning lava just to get to. Yeah, it sucks.

Book Recommendation for Twilight haters with a little extra cash on hand: http://www.amazon.com/Nightlight-Parody ... 0307476103

I didn't read it yet, but I bought it for a few friends of mine because... they can be money sucking leeches sometimes [not like I'm any different], and from what they've said, it's rather random and funny.
