Who do you think Moriarty is going to be acted by? Since there's already talk of another Sherlock Homles movie,I was wondering who you want to play as him.

I think he'll remain faceless again, the next film will just have him add another tool to his arsenal

That way they can pull off another sequel before moving onto his film.

There's a rumor floating around that Brad Pitt might be Moriarty. (Ah, but I can't see him being Moriarty at all... Or barely..)

If that is true, then words cannot describe how screwed Sherlock Holmes' sequel will be.

I thought the first one was terrible, nor could see any way it could made be worse in a sequel... but you've just proven me wrong. Brad Pit in Sherlock Holmes? A disaster! :beef:

But Brad Pitt? As a devious professor? Nah.
I liked the first one-I was hoping for someone a bit less...Brad Pitt-ish xD

I thought Robert Knepper (guy who played Samual Sullivan-the earthquake man) would be kinda good for the part. He's got that "could be bad if he wanted to be" look, i think xD

But that's just me.

I got nothing against Brad. The only movies I liked with him in it were 12 Monkeys, True Romance, Troy, Inglourious Basterds, Legends Of The Fall & Burn After Reading. I just don't think he is cut out for Professor Moriarty.

:ack: But I don't want it to become a disaster!! (I admit, Brad Pitt's not a bad actor, but dang, they need someone who actually looks a little bit British! (Wait, that has nothing to do with it! (Robert Downey Jr. looked British, Rachel McAdams looked British, Jude Law IS British. (I'm not getting anywhere with this, am I?))))

I also can't see Brad Pitt in a time like the era of Nazi Germany. I just can't. (and I never will. Sorry, but I won't.)

...He seems too comedic for Moriarty, don't you think? (Noting Inglourious Basterds and Burn After Reading.)

I think that Pitt has proved that he isn't a regular Robert Pattinson anymore. He used to do stuff that just benefited from his pretty face. Lately, he's been showing his acting skills, and he's been appreciated for that.

All in all, I think that if Guy Ritchie wants to reinvent Moriarty like they reinvented Sherlock (that is, a young, lively character), then Pitt is the perfect actor for it. If he wants the film's Moriarty to be loyal to Conan Doyle's canon, then he needs another guy. For example, Anthony Hopkins, who in my opinion, looks almost exactly like some of the "oficial" drawings of an old Moriarty. And let's be honest, who wouldn't want to see a Sherlock Holmes film with Anthony Hopkins as the bad guy?

Just let the awesomeness of it sit in your mind for a while. EH~ I'd be happier than when I have peach rings and a Sunkist or a Fanta with me!! And that's really really happy!!
