How come there isn't a topic on this already? Well I guess that's why I'm here!

There's so many awesome superhero movies out and soon to come out that I really wanted to talk about them here!

Me and my dad can't wait to see Iron Man 3 coming out this May and I really want to see Man of Steel! I think it'll help with finally getting a Justice League movie and maybe even a DC Movie Universe to happen!

I've also been following the filming of Amazing Spider-Man 2 because I really liked the first movie.

Is it me or am I the only one who thinks Electro's new look is really cool?

Spoiler: Jamie Foxx as Electro

Wow.. I wasn't even aware that Electro had gotten a new design or that there was even going to be a second Amazing Spiderman D:
Well I never saw the first, but whatevs.

I always liked the original design for Electro. It was campy as hell, but it still got the point across. The new one just looks.... dumb. No other words I can use to describe it.
Spoiler:

Hopefully Nolan does a good job on Man of Steel. I don't know how many times Superman's origin story has been beaten to death, but if it fails to stand out then it's just going to sink down into obscurity. After TDKR, I'm not expecting a whole lot. I hated Rises. Too many dumb plotholes and Bane's character was completely undermined.

The only complaint I have about Electro's new look at the moment is the hoodie. I hope it isn't part of the costume, and that it's just what he wears when Max first transforms into Electro. Otherwise, I think going the route of the Ultimate universe was a better choice for the character's look.

Now I just hope they don't do that with Green Goblin. It wouldn't feel like the Green Goblin to me.
Spoiler: Ultimate Green Goblin...seriously

It looks like they're trying to make Superman more relatable, which I think is a real plus. So I'm pretty excited to see what they do with his character.

I liked TDKR but I'll admit I was scratching my head several times a lot, especially near the end.

Spoiler:
This sums up the end of the movie perfectly.

Not much of a fan, but I've watched a couple of superhero movies in my time. Off the top of my head, I can remember Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, the Spider-Man series, The Amazing Spider Man, Iron Man 1 and 2, and The Avengers. I don't know if I can consider Jingle All The Way to be a crack superhero movie

I know this movie wasn't recieved well...But I wish I could watch Superman: Brainaic Attacks again. I loved that movie as a kid because of all the Superman/Lois Lane moments.

And yes I love superhero movies as well. ^-^

Gnobo if you have more money to burn I recommend this.

Looks harmless. Maybe I'll bite.

Also here's a good Batman movie you should watch, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.

Unfortunately it's not buyable on Youtube.

:ema-shock: I haven't seen that movie in so long! It had a nice plot twist.

Oh yeah...I forgot about that X-Men movie I watched where Wolverine doesn't want to take part in a humans vs. mutants war and Rouge has a relationship with Ice Man.

Never saw the sequel though. But even though I am not fond of Jean Grey (Rouge and Shadowcat are better) I would be sad to see her turn into The Phoenix. :(

Edit: Review Superman: Brainaic Attacks later ok?

I've never really been amazed by live action superhero movies. They never appeal to "fans" just people who like the character.
This is why I like the cartoons the best, the comic creators have more control over what happens whereas in live action blockbusters it's all about who plays in it not how they do it.

Not a huge fan of Marvel heroes, so I'll talk about DC. Loved Mask of the Phantasm and its twist. One I really loved was Batman vs Dracula. Look it up, you'll thank me.

Wasn't Batman vs. Dracula part of that wierd "The Batman" series? Though the concept in name alone sounds awesome!

Yeah, I prefer the cartoons for the same reason.

Also, there's the fact that the live action movies usually end up like the majority of action films out there. I feel that they don't have the same charm as the cartoons. It is because of how different to other shows the cartoons are that I like them so much.

Still, I do enjoy some superhero movies, like Iron Man. The first movie was pretty awesome.

Ah the Dark Knight Rises...

I'd take it more seriously if Batman hadn't like
Spoiler: Dark Knight Rises
survived, not told Alfred or anyone cept for some dumb catwoman left everyone heartbroken and teary...for no good reason. Especially as he knew he was going to survive the second he got in his batplane if not earlier. Related

Was probably watching from afar and laughing at the funeral.

Also Bane's death was anticlimatic...and kinda against everything Batman is...."So you just SHOOT the bad guys?! It's all too simple!"

Anyway on a Batman-related note I'm going to drop these here.

It was also hard to take the Dark Knight series seriously after seeing them.

Not yet at least.

He'll probably end up like Dr. Connors when he became the Lizard, meaning he'll be injected with some kind of serum that'll turn him into a half-rhino half-man hybrid.

Heheh, the best part is that they're Rhino-polka-dotted underpants! XD

It's seriously like something out of a cartoon!

But hopefully that serum-looking thing in Spidey's hand might mean Aleksei will actually transform into the Rhino.

Man of Steel discussion anybody?

I'm gonna go and start off by saying: I love this movie! It made Superman a much more down-to-earth kind of hero. He's especially relatable to me. He's presented as someone who has a tough time fitting in with others, but he's passionate about helping people in need.

And I don't know about any of you, but the "no red underwear" look has kind of grown on me.

You know what I find ridiculous?
One critic shunned Man of Steel for having too much action. That same critic praised the Avengers for the same reason.

Maybe it had to do with the kind of action that was in both movies. Avengers had more typical action movie type action. Man of Steel had more Dragonball Z-ish action. Maybe the critic didnt like how the action in Man of Steel moved way to fast and that's why he complained about it?

Despite that, I still liked both action in both movies.

And I don't consider myself a devoted fan to one comic book company, since I like Marvel and DC stuff equally. Like I love Spider-Man but I also love Batman.

Yeah, Metropolis got torn to pieces! I wonder how anyone managed to rebuild it all?

In other news, we apparently have a very detailed description of what the Green Goblin will look like in the Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Spoiler: Green Goblin
Or should I say the Black Goblin?

"Green Goblin's suit will be made up entirely of matte black armor that resembles a hi-tech motocross suit. The suit will remain open-faced, and there will be no helmet at all. Norman will have green hair that is spiked high up. In his ears, he will be wearing a Bluetooth device that will make it look as though he has the Green Goblin's signature pointed ears, the same way Selina Kyle's goggles worked in creating the illusion that she had cat ears. The back of the armor has a spine. At the moment, there are no green accents. From a distance, you'd be forgiven for thinking that Tony Stark's signature Mark XLII armor had been painted black."

Honestly, I'm not too sure about this look, but I hope it'll look at least a little better than the green sentai armor from the first Sam Raimi movie.
