Seriously.
This is probably the greatest anime of the year, and I think it could easily make a top ten list of best anime of all time. Great characters, good story, nice twists. Heck: it even managed to sneak in some surprises through the front door, so to speak.

It is. I'm re-watching it (at a slower pace, due to scheduling) with my dad, and finding a lot of early stuff they put in that you'll only really notice after you know everything that happens. Nothing that'll be absolutely necessary to understanding anything, but you'll look back and go "oh snap, they did x this early? Holy crap!"
