The name intrigues me...I have a feeling it might be a detective novel, but I can't stop this nagging feeling that it's well along the lines of magic (Harry Potter-ish?).

Yup, totally agree. 1-4 are awesome, but the 5th one really annoyed me. I can't even remember the plot, and I only read it a few months ago...something about a bad demon, and a good little demon...or something....
My favourite's the first, though.
