Bryce's phone let out a beep. "One missed call," it read. "Probably during my fun little conversation with Viola and Blake," he thought. He flipped the phone open to check the number. "... Do I know somebody at that number?..." Because he was bored and figured Viola was on top of whatever it was she was doing, ((HA HA!... On top...)) he decided to give it a call back. After hitting redial on the phone, he waited for an answer.

There wasn't one.

Bryce hung up before the machine finished its message. All that got out was "You have reached--" before the call ended. "That's strange... Who would call a number and then decide to step out less than ten minutes later?" he thought.

Considering that there was a phone book in front of him, and also because Bryce couldn't contain his curiosity to save his life, he decided to look it up. "I could tell by the sound of the outgoing message that it was some kind of government office, and judging by the prefix it was somewhere nearby..." He curiously turned the pages of the book. "I wonder how I look sitting here with this book. Do I look smart? I wonder if I've turned any heads..." He thought to himself trying, and failing, not to smile. Thirty minutes later he found the place.

"The prosecutor's office!?" Bryce exclaimed in shock. "Why would I get a call from them? I swear, she looked 18!... Wait... I'm 16, so it can't be that... Now that I think about it, I've never--" Bryce's face soon turned into that of disgust. "Screw it. Time to get this over with." He wrote down the address and stuck it in his pocket. He departed the library for the Prosecutors' Offices.
