He went to the communications room and switched frequencies to the emergency FM band. He put a set of headphones on. Static could be heard on the other end. He pressed the button and said, "Hospital Bird, this is Phoenix PD, come in over."
He waited a couple seconds, hearing nothing but static. He frowned and said, "Hospital, do you read?"
Once again, no response. Now, he started to feel a bit worried, as the pilot was another close friend of his. He shouted, "MIKE, DO...YOU...COPY?"
After a couple minutes more of static he removed the headset and slumped in his seat. No response means no pickup. That meant they were left for dead. Five survivors in his hands. Two Japanese army (one retired), a member of SWAT he didn't really know too well, a suspicious girl, and himself, a paranoid detective who suspected everyone who owned an automatic pistol on hand. Plus anyone else they picked up on the way.

Luneth was right. His mind began racing once again as a plan began to form. He rose and started looking for where he put the map. Suddenly, a loud scream of a familiar name made Ethan turn to where the voice came from. He thought, Too loud! That'll bring several problems down on us.
He ran for the door and looked outside. He said with some irritation, "Keep your voice down unless you want to bring down the hunters on us."
Ethan also looked at the military ID and muttered, "Wasn't he the one responsible for the London Nuke fiasco? A tank, huh? Wonder what he was doing in Phoenix."

He did not speak. Once the clip was gone, he walked off. There was a clear route to the next military installation a few hundred meters away, and anyone who wanted to come would follow. He would not object, nor complain. The visor of his helmet, he now covered. They didn't need to see his face.

Victor looked at the actions of the rest, he was reliefed that he wasn't working with unexperienced people but with military and a detective, a rather weird one. (He thinks this because of the bombs XD) He then moved on and as he walked at the side of Gin he looked him watching a military Id, he kept moving without hearing something he whispered and suddenly he heard a gunshot, he turned and saw that Gin shot the tank on the head, he then came near and as he got close and heard Luneth calming him down, he saw it... the name that reminded him how his world was thrown to hell... Jaron White. How?... a tank, I can't say I'm happy about it but it doesn't satisfy me that he's dead... It wont bring Chloe back... he thought. He ran towards the side of Ethan and asked "He maybe did something awfull, like leaving two people to die and shot another one who carried the virus here to america but no man deserves this, no one" He said trying to calm the tense enviroment. Later in the way he walked at the side of Gin and asked him: "So... what's your story with Jaron White?"

Ethan shrugged at Victor, "Ethan Redfield, Detective. I have no idea what his problem is. Maybe the butcher of London killed a friend of his. All I was supposed to do was send any survivors to the military outpost, and then wait for any more lucky survivors. Now my ride out of this hellhole is missing. For all I know, the outpost ahead has been overrun."

And he spoke, after walking for some time. However, it wasn't the mocking, monotonous voice he had used before, but rather a hoarse whisper, as if someone had rubbed sandpaper across the inside of the throat. "There." Just one word, uttered, almost indiscriminately from the sounds of the destruction of Phoenix. He was pointing his gun, momentarily, at a small military installation in the base. It was where the other signal came from.
The message could not have been clearer than if he had announced it. That is our safehouse. That is where we're headed.
((Jaron's been active but not posting, for 3 days, so his character is dead to allot an open space. If he posts before someone claims it, he may revive his character. If the RP has already progressed to the point where he is dead, he can create a new character.))

Appearance: Doctor's coat, brown hair tied back in a ponytail, black shirt and skirt underneath coat.
Personality: Quiet, shy, distinctly scared.
Equipment : Has satchels strapped to her packed with medical supplies and an automatic handgun.
Affiliation and a little backstory : Was one of the doctors testing the 'virus' on patients in an attempt to cure cancer. Saw the effects of the virus first hand and now she's distrustful of the Government and scarred for life. Believes the 'infected' status is reversible and would love to capture one with a sample of the original virus to attempt to reverse the virus. When the first infected appeared on her table doctor's swiftly took care of it. More infected were brought in thought to be suffering from rabies but eventually the doctors just started killing the ones brought to them. Though when the infected were on the streets and rioting she took cover in the hospital store room and ladelled up on medical supplies while the world went crazy.
Extra (anything extra): Her gun was taken from a policeman brought in with the infection.

"There's several infected outside, no variations as far as I can see but please, I don't have much weaponry but..." she stopped as she heard a slow thud followed by a groaning outside the room "Oh no..." she whispered fearfully taking cover behind the door and slowly closing it praying something hadn't seen her before sneaking back to the table "If anyone can hear me....I'm a trained doctor with supplies but I'm don't think I can escape, please respond" she whispered tearfully ducking to the ground and shakily aiming her pistol at the door.

There was still strangely few infected in the street. Dead bodies outnumbered standing zombies more than anything. Someone’s probably been here…. It was possible that it was all the work of the SWAT team. As he progressed, he found a huge crack in the street. The pavement had collapsed and fragmented, making an impression of a wide conical crater into the ground, with beams twisted this way and that. something big obviously came through. Probably a tank?
He had begun to smile again. The infected were howling up ahead, surrounding a hospital. There once had been a few humans trying to combat them, but it had been a futile endeavor. They had neither the training nor the equipment to survive the onslaught. Their bodies lay sadly in the street, decaying. Gin grinned and drew his sword, deliberately abraising it across the scabbard, making a cacophonous metallic sound. The infected turned their heads.
He ran forward.

“Say, I’ll go help this girl, you guys go on ahead.” she heard Gin say, and knowing that speed was everything when the streets were getting darker by the minute, Kimiko broke into a run to catch up with Luneth and Victor.
And fought back a scream as an infected lurched around the street corner, arms reaching out for her. Reacting instinctively, she dropped it with a clean headshot and stepped out of the way as it thudded to the ground. It seemed so impossible that humans could be reduced to something like this or that there were so few survivors.
Why was I saved? And how long will I last? That detective, there'd been something in his eyes when he looked at her- Kimiko couldn't rule out the possibility that he already suspected her. But I can't kill him, not now.... And actually, I don't really want to. It'll be...interesting to see how this works out.

Gin turned around and spotted Luneth. "You followed me here? I didn't think you were the type." he joked. He rounded the corner and spotted a hunter, which immediately pounced. For a moment the hunter seemed to suspend itself in midair, but which a screech landed on Gin, pulling him the the floor, pinning his arms. Calm and composed, he expertly snaked his leg and kicked one of the hunter's arms, freeing his sword hand. The blade slashed across the creature's chest in a stream of crimson, causing it to fall back on a stack of books. He finished it off with a stab to the head, extracting his weapon with a sick schluck sound.
"I'm sorry, I got distracted. She's probably on the top floor. After all, that's where'd I go if I were a civilian." Ascending the fourth and final floor, he saw a paper sign hanging, scrawled on it with what appeared to be blood...no...red ink. It was an arrow.
"Oh, I'll have to wager that she's in there." he pointed.

He ran after Gin and Luneth, passing the horde of dead infected and making his way into the hospital and up a nearby stairwell. After about 10 flights of stairs, he emerged from the stairwell at the top. There was no helicopter on the roof. Ethan began thinking about what this meant. Mike would not leave him behind. But what happened to him? His questions were cast aside for a moment as he thought about the survivor inside.
He pulled out a radio and said, "This is Ethan Redfield. If you're out there Mike, I will find you my friend. You can count on that. If you can hear me, there is a group of survivors heading to the military outpost. We could use pickup. If your on foot, I hope to see you there, alive and uninfected. If and when we move on, I'll let you know where we are going. Godspeed my friend."
He released the button and looked out onto the city. It was getting darker, more dangerous to move. Best to travel in the daytime. Hunters would prowl about more at night than during the day. He turned around and walked downstairs, hoping to meet up with Luneth and Gin shortly.
