Blake looked scornfully at her. "I'm not gonna waste my energy. Here-if it was hurt would I be able to do this?" he flapped his arm around like a crazy man (that's what he was, anyway). The pain seared through every inch of his athletic body, but he didn't let it show on his face.

"You see, any normal person would find this," she flicked the lighter on beneath the palm of her hand, "incredibly painful." she left it beneath her palm for about seven seconds before she turned it off. "Furthermore," she slapped the freshly-burned palm of her hand against the table as hard as she could, "I should be near tears right now, but I'm not."

Lana sighed and walked up to the desk. "I need to take a statement in an interrogation room, please."

The man stood straight up and saluted her. "Yes, m'am!" He marched to an interrogation room, the one right by where Viola, Blake, and Ty were. You could faintly hear Allegro and Parker's voices threw the concrete.

Lana motioned to a metal fold out chair, for Cheryl to sit, as she took her own seat.

Power was in his office twiddling a pencil between his fingers and thinking of the days gone by. It'd seems years ago that he had been going out with Lana and the ever unpleasant break up froze in his mind as if it was only yesterday. Looking at the photo on his desk, a momento of happier times, when he was with Lana.

Snapping out of his nostaligic trance, he noticed the report he was meant to be filling out. Ughh, paperwork, not one of his favourite parts of being a detective...

Lewis had let himself in behind Lana, not leaving when there were no objections. He stood up behind the chair in which Lana sat, feeling it would be too presumptuous to seat himself. When Darke's name was mentioned, he was as angry as Lana was.

"Darke? Are you sure?" If Lewis was correct in his assumption, this would be an all-time low, even for Micheal.

In another part of the building, police sergeant Bradley Dominic Sampson was on break, and decided he'd go spy on all the detectives. It was one of his favorite pass-times, next to lizard breeding and working on his coin collection. When he passed by Power's office, he noticed he looked upset about something, and he knew Darzie Power didn't get upset easily. He let himself in.

"Hey, Power," Bradley called after he opened the door, "somethin' wrong?"

Noah walked into the lobby and went to the reception desk. "Hey Brenda," He said to the receptionist. "Any new cases today?" Brenda handed him a pile of papers that Noah started going through. "OK... nope... no... hm... maybe... um.. adadada... no..." He stopped when he saw one name in particular. "Wait a minute... Cheryl Blossom? Where have I heard that name before...?" He tried to remember back to the restaurant. "Wasn't that the one who was with Lana? I'd better hang onto this..." He slipped the record into a few other papers he had with him of different cases and went down to an area near the interrogation room to look some more into the file.

Lana mumbled under her breath as she turned, "Darke will pay..."

She strode into Darzie's office. She had forgotten the cold silence between them, until she walked inside. She stopped dead, and looked awkward.

Lewis was going to ask her about Darke, but he figured they were both thinking the same thing. "Okay, Lana," he said, and turned around to return to the interrogation room. "Miss Skye will be back really quick, Cheryl," he said in a comforting voice. "Don't worry, I promise Miche- I promise we'll catch whoever did this."

Bradley felt the tension in the room. "I think I get it now... I should probably leave, shouldn't I?" He walked to the door, then turned around again, and said, "By the way, if you need any help, don't forget I'm here." The door slammed shut with that.

Some of the papers flew off of the table Noah was sitting at as Lana briskly walked past the table, but Noah was too busy looking at the file to notice. "Wait a minute... I was at the hospital then! Only three rooms away from that! How come I didn't hear anything?" He started to become skeptical, but maybe if he could find Cheryl he could ask her about that. He got up from his chair, still looking at the file, and poured himself a cup of coffee. "That's all they have? ...Wait... Oh no! I think I took the file before they could update it! If I don't get this back Lana's gonna put me on the chopping block!" He started planning the fastest way to the file room. "Left... this way... past the water cooler... God, I've worked here for five years and I just now forgot where everything is!" Then he remembered: "The interrogation room has two doors! I'll just cut through there!" He ran to the room stopped at the door where Lewis was. "Oh, uh... hi. Gotta get through here, ok?" He asked.
