The television was quietly humming in the corner, when the news came on.
"Good evening. At 6:30pm today, Detective Power was shot in the chest and was rushed to hospital. Detective Power is an experienced officer down at the precinct, a survivor of the incident at Chief Prosecutor Skye's home and the man spearheading the search for Micheal Darke. A spokesperson from the police stated that his condition is very serious and it is unsure whether Power will make it through the night. More on this as it develops."
