Do you think we can talk our way out of it?" A grin suddenly appeared on his face, as Phoenix dipped his beanie with a smirk, "Think of it as a court case, and our gunman is the prosecutor. We need a motive and evidence, right?" Glancing back to Apollo, Phoenix blue eyes narrowed to a serious expression, "So, what's the plan?"

((No pressure ;) People can help him out with ideas- I think a direct approach or escaping is a SERIOUSLY bad idea though. They want us alive, but not badly enough to let us escape, right? ))

Nick thought for a moment.
He was stumped, which was strange for him.
"right, I got to treat this like a maths equation,"
he thought to himself,
"Right, so what do we know and what do we not know..."
we don't know who the criminal is, so:
Criminal=x
However, we do know that x wants 3 hostages (3h) so:
x+3h=Getting away.
But we don't know what x will do with the 3h so:
x+3h=???
We don't know enough about these missing numbers...
So we will have to work them out somehow.
And the only person who knows the answers is:
x=ANSWERS!!!
And according to Phoenix, we should do this passively.
There were many ways to do this but none of them are available.
"So, the key essential thing is, that we should get information from the criminal to us without directly confronting him," Nick said aloud.
"We don't have a lot of choices, though.
However, we may be able to think of something using the resources we have.
Everybody, check your pockets to see whatever's inside them."
All the people in the class stared at Nick.
"Err... I mean- that's what I think we should do..."

Phoenix checked his. Two balls of lint, a grape juice bottle cap, a couple of paper clips, and an old band aid from that paper cut he got helping Apollo out in court the other day. Now, if only I were Mac Gyver, I'd have something here... I didn't expect to be in class- I was only meant to walk Maya here...

Well, i have my bag." Ema checked her bag and had: 3 bags of snackoos, a pen, 3 pencils, a notebook, extra pair of pink tinted glasses, and... Some more snackoos?! "Will any of these help?" she asked, as she put them on her desk. she also put the chemical on the desk. "We could put the glasses on the skeleton, then bring it out, and have someone ready to burn the chemical, releasing smoke in the area, but only if the criminal is going to do something really bad." ((Thank Apollo for a way out of this, and Nick, and Skye. Apollo thought of the skeliton, Nick told everyone to check thier pockets, and Skye told us about the chemical. I must be getting too far into this. lol.))

The teacher was astounded with her class. Never before had she seen such quick thinking, or such bravery. usually, her students just snored in the back of the class room.

"I think....that just might work." she said thinking over the plan and digging through her pockets. "Oh!" She exclaimed. She ran over to the coat rack and undoing her jacket, pulled out a scarf. "This could hide the face...and I have some laytex gloves in the drawer over there.We should hurry though, there's no telling how long this criminal will wait."

The speaker made a high pitched noise, before someone talked on it. "The criminal says he will not wait more than two minutes. Once those minutes are up... He will jump through the window! (Or so he says,) Please... you must come up with a plan! most of the cops are all shot! they are calling reinforcements, but they will take 4-6 minutes!" So I don't think the skeleton idea will work as he is a former Chief of Police, and has outwitted the smartest of people. So, my idea is that we use my phone to record our voices. We put the phone nearby and play the recording. That should keep Mr. Gant occupied until the police get here,"

Nick thought about how to decieve the criminal.
He then saw a stepladder near a ventilation shaft.
"If we can get someone to climb into that shaft up there, with that fingerprint powder or luminol, they can spray it into the eyes of the criminal. That can buy us some time, I think.
However, we don't know where the guy is, so it's not a good idea."
Glancing down at Skye's phone, he noticed a detail not usually found on other phones.
"Hang on, the phone says, that the criminal is 10 meters away.
Where would that be?"
Nick thought for a second.
"Ah! That's just outside the women's toilets! ((Why the hell is gant over there?))
So, we can get someone to go through the airways, then swing down and spray the guy."

Apollo was about to raise an objection about the reason as to why the chriminal was by the women's toilets, but he shook his head, he'd rather not know, he bit his lip, "I have yet to empty my pokets..." Apollo said feeling as if he wouldn't be much more help than Phoenix was, he emptied his pokets with the following:
His apartment keys,
An expired coupon,
his buissness card,
some spare change,
two elestics,
and a crooked paper clip.
Just as predicted, utterly useless items... Apollo pulled a distained expression, "Now that we have only under two minuits, we have to either go with what ideas we have, fight... Or kiss ourselves goodbye..." He started to hyper ventilate, This can't be happening!! I'm too young to die!! Don't start crying Justice! Not now!! Apollo bit his tougue to avoid crying in fear.

Nick pressed the button and said in a commanding tone,
"This is the police.
Please drop down all your arms and walk to the main entrance of the building.
If you fail to do so, we will come in there and taser you."
After pressing the stop button, he grabbed one of the bottles from the shelf.
"Ema, if we add this to the luminol, it will turn it into pepper spray. ((will it? I don't know))
I think that will be more effective than just plain spraying it."

Apollo looked up, he felt that his mouth was so dry, he couldn't muster anything to say, so he merely nodded, pulling a small smile, but still he worried, this time he wasn't shaking, I'll be fine... Things always work out for me... he tried to reasure himself mentally, but he still had that voice warning him, If we mess up here... It could be curtains... I've dealt with so many murder cases... ((Btw- what is Phoenix suppose to know about the non canon characters here? Like Nick? I'm kind of a bit confused how I should react to half of our cast here. Sorry I'm a bit slow. Con coming up, and I'm trying my best to keep another thread active that I'm the GM for ^^; If someone has an idea of something Phoenix can do, I am still watching- I'm just not sure how to interact atm ^^; )

"Now that we have the recording, and the gas, it's time to put this plan into action--and quickly, because we don't have much time!!" Ms. Tiffany grabbed the solution to start the gas, the phone and peeked out the door. All was safe. She quickly dashed out the door and ran to the empty room next door. She placed the bottle on the floor and activated it,then played the recording loud enough for Gant to hear it (From the women's washrooms? WTF Gant.) Then she opened the door, quckly looked outside and sprinted back to her classroom.

"There!" She said a little out of breath. "Okay. I'll explain what I just did. We have two bottles of this gaseous substance, right? I left one in there, so he would go through the door, choke on the gas and we can make our escape through the back window." She pointed to the window that opened to campus.
