Kristoph was thought he had heard a rustling noise. "Stay on guard Apollo." Kristoph whispered as hey went in a back to back defencive position. They went ahead and then waited to see if anyone was going to come out and susprise attack them. This time they had no back up. Then they realized it was just the wind but they then went to a safer position on top of a building. "Hey guys this is Lilly Underwood from N.I.G.H.T.S you guys okay I've heard you two had a run in with the POLL's." she said through the watch. "Lilly we're both fine we have our gloves on and our acro shoes and I found put my brother is with POLL. He tried to kill us." Kristoph said. "Well why in the heck didn't you go after him? I mean he's just Klavier now not Klavier Gavin your brother but now he's Klavier I'm-an-agent-sent-to-kill-you! Either way my unit is over in the uptown part of POLL territory just incase you need any help. We have our "crowbars" either way the Blackjack Nine has you covered on Southside but since you're at Shea you're on the East side of town and we can't help you there. But go North or South and we'll welcome you with open arms. Just be careful and also the Rouge Riders are in the West for support but right now they're fighting off the Vipers. Darn POLL's got Vendetta Viper on their side." she said cursing under her breath. "Oh and another thing. The girls and I got you and "Spiketop" a little gift." she said sending them a DAT upgrade. "Okay so this is the mirror-ice attachment. You can project sharp ice shards that freeze people it also allows you to project mirror shields which allow you to deflect any projectiles back at your opponent. Oh and one last thing. Kristoph if they get their hands on you they are going to torture you to get info out of you. And if you don't they'll use an "untested experament" on you. And from what I've heard you'll be lucky if you're able to walk again. They saved this experament just for you. According to our sources it does it's part by damaging nerves thought your entire nervous system and it causes major pain,convusions, and finally if not treated death. They didn't hire Klavier just because Kristoph...they hired him to get to you." she then saluted and ended her transmission.

"Mr. Gavin are they really?" Apollo asked. "Yes but I'd rather die then be the one to kill my brother. If I die by his hand then I leave everything to you. Now give me your wrist." Kristoph said. Apollo gave Kristoph his wrist and Kristoph programed something onto it and then connected his watch to his. "Mr. Gavin what are you doing?" he asked unable to break free from the bond. "Calm down Justice this is just a DATA oath. We just connect watches and we then promice something. This also allows for agents to leave orders after they become...deseased. Now then." he then pressed a button which recorded the oath. "I Kristoph Gavin Agent K-13 promice to keep my apprentice safe until I die and the tourch gets passed on to him. I will leave him my rank,gear, and legacy and if there is a time when he ever gives up or tries to avenge me I leave him this message. All I can say is "Remember what is most importent to you. Follow your heart and never give in." Kristoph then stopped his messege and it was Apollo's turn and it was like he already knew what to say.

"I Apollo Justice agent A-13 swear to follow in my mentor's footsteps until I die. I will cherish every hardship, object, and misison we've had together. And I promice to refer to his words if the time comes when he is deseased and I do try to avenge him or give up." his side was recorded and they then seperated watches. "We're both dependent on each other now Apollo and if Klavier or anyone from POLL kills me you must run... I don't care if I can't ever walk again but I need you to carry on." Kristoph said strictly as they then waited for the incoming danger that would soon face them.

A wolf suddenly darted around the corner, saw Kristoph and Apollo, then sniffed. They were definitely D.A.T.A. He barked loudly and then ran off, his dark gray fur rounding the corners at a high speeds. A P.O.L.L. spy, dressed in full body black, peeked over the rooftop. They looked like normal people to him. "Eh, I suppose I better, otherwise Gavin will have a go at me." He muttered quietly. He then pulled the silent trigger of the silent gun, which silently let off a silent bullet, and the silent needle silently attached onto Kristoph's cape. It was no bigger than a button. He then silently shot a silent bullet at the other man, which attached itself to his cape equally as silently. He switched on his transceiver. "Redding, they're heading your way." He said. He then turned a small black dial on the side. "Boss, we got 2 suspects. Your pet dog thing barked at them, so I guess they must be D.A.T.A., huh?"
An angry voice barked at him from the other end. "He's a wolf, not a 'pet dog thing'!" He yelled. Not too loudly though. "Have you attached the thermals?" He asked the spy. To which the spy sighed. "Yes, right into their cloaks, just as you asked. No, I didn't harm them."
"Concentrate the troops to around the suspected pathways, whenever they take a turning, reorganize the troops to the expected pathways again. Got it?" The angry voice said to him.
"You learn that stuff in, like, Preschool, boss." The spy replied
"Yes, but from all the times you've failed we have to keep an eye on you, Ja?" The voice said, then the voice switched the transceiver off.
"That was only..!" He started, but then he noticed he'd switched the other end off. "Damnit, you stupid rookie, get off your high horse already!" He said to the transceiver, even though he knew that it was switched off. He wouldn't dare say it to Klavier's face. Or else his might be filled with Kunai. He then told the other troops their new positions, and kept an eye on the two men.

Kristoph heard a bark. "We've waited long enough Apollo we have to go through with this so let's go." Kristoph said jumping off the building with Apollo by his side. Just then he saw some men. Apollo and Kristoph got their gloves ready. "So you want me then come and get me." Kristoph said while Apollo readied his mirror shield.

They shot stun lazers at them but they were deflected by Apollo's sheild and stunned them back. "Well we should get going now." Kristoph said while they ran towards the base clobbering some POLL agents with their gloves. They were able to make a breach and were soon close to the base. "You ready for this?" Kristoph asked. "What the heck are you two doing you're going to get murdered!" one of the NIGHTS gals said to Kristoph and Apollo over their intercom. "I have to do this Tracy I'd rather die here than let the rest of you take the consequences. And I made "the oath" so I can't break this promice." he said and they were then surrounded by POLL agents. Apollo and Kristoph went into a back to back defencive position.

The spy radioed Klavier. "It looks like we got some trouble." He told him. The only reply he got was. "You think I'm going to have a go at you, don't you." He said. "It's ok, I'm not."

"Y..You're not? Isn't that a bit out of character?"

"Not at all. You see, I knew you'd mess up, so I came here as backup. Enjoy your punishment at the P.O.L.L. headquarters." Then Klavier switched the radio off. To which the spy grumbled.

Down below the buildings, a few streets away, Klavier was with his wolf, kneeling on the floor next to it. He gave him a long piece of reinforced rope, attached to a weird object at the end. He then whispered into the wolf's ear. "And when you've done it, press this button. Ok?" He said to the wolf. "Now go do it." He told him, patting him on the head, as he walked through the streets and came out in front of Kristoph and Apollo. "Hello, my friends. Tell me, what brings you back to P.O.L.L. territory? What is it that you want? What is your objective, your goal?"

"I'm just...giving myself up. My apprentice is just here to escort me he means no harm." Kristoph said. Yet.
Kristoph made himself sincere while Apollo tried his hardest not to protest. "He's telling the truth he had told me about this prior to the intrusion." Apollo said.

"Yes, Yes, You're giving yourself up. Very good." He said to him. "Unfortunately for you, I've taken safety precautions, so any tricks you were about to try won't work. In case you think I'm bluffing, check behind you." Behind them was his wolf. The reinforced ropes were tied around Apollo's and Kristoph's legs, and the device the rope was attatched to grew in weight when the button was pressed. Sadly, when the button was pressed, the only way to undo it was to enter the code to unlock it. And with the weight of device being increased, it acted very much like a steel ball.

"You can take me but leave Apollo out of this I just want to see my brother Klavier." Kristoph said feeling the weight of the device on his leg. Sure Apollo would be able to bust out with his gloves but right now it wasn't the time. KLavier I don't care if you kill me because I don't want to live knowing that I had to kill my own brother.

Apollo's bracelet tenced when he saw his mentor's eyes. They looked deep in thought but yet they showed a bit of anguish and sorrow. Apollo looked in the other direction so he wouldn't be tempted to hold back with the plan. Mr. Gavin I won't let you down. I promiced to follow in your foosteps until I died. I'll live up to that oath when the time comes.

Figures I knew he'd say that. "Well beleive what you want. Now are you going to take this oppratunity or are you just going to let us sit here?" Kristoph said hiding his sorrow with impatence.

Flashback
"Now Apollo here's what we have to do. Once you hear me say "Don't blame yourself Klavier." then you escape and press the button AFTER 26 seconds to set off the charges." Kristoph said. "B-but Mr. Gavin I can't do this I mean what if after the injection you are still alive?" Apollo asked. "Apollo, either way I'm done for, I had already let my double life interfere with yours and Klavier's if we have to go on like this then what's the point of living?" Kristoph asked. Apollo just shook his head. "I just can't believe it would go to this point." Apollo replied. "Apollo what was the oath?" he asked. "That I would always follow in your footsteps until I die." Apollo murmered. "Right. Now please we have to destroy P.O.L.L once and for all and this is the only way. So no other person has to suffer the same fate." Kristoph said. "Alright. I'll do it." Apollo replied. "Good now remember the charges were set by some DATA double agents. The charges are undetectable by any means. Also their base over looks a seaside cliff so jump off the ledge and a helicopter will get you out. And I don't care if Klavier is crying or hates me or you just get him out of there as well. Now any questions?" Kristoph asked. "Yeah. Just one. Why such a spesific number like 26?" Apollo asked. "Because it symbolizes our oath...it takes 13 and 13 to make 26." Kristoph said.

"Yeah POLL boy are you going to keep us waiting?" Apollo said. I'm going to do this. For DATA! For our oath!

"Grrr....... Checkmate my whip, fool." Franziska wiggled her shoulders and arms around so as to increase the slack in her whip. After a few seconds, she managed to get it down to her hips, arms free. She slid it down to her feet, the stepped out, grabbing the two ends that were tied. She worked on the knot for a moment, mumbling to herself about Howl's punishment-to-be. "When I..... hands on...... bloody cuts... indignation of my whip." Finally untying the knot, Franziska snapped the whip to her side to un-kink it. She fixed Howl with an arrogant eye. "Now what was that about checkmate, Mr. Howl Ingmune?"

"Well, Well, Well. Your escort seems a bit wild." Klavier said, his face twisting a smile. Then he sighed, loudly. "Kristoph.." He said, then he paused for a few seconds. "Do you remember our childhood, Kristoph? All the fun we used to have?" He asked him, waiting for a response.

I remebered that when we were young whenever you would have a nightmare you would come to my room and I'd ask what was wrong then I'd allow you come and sleep beside me. "Wait.. So.. You really are..?" Klavier said, eyes glinting, voice high. Then he went back to his normal self. "No, nevermind. Anyone would know that an older brother comforts a younger brother. I want definite proof that you're Kristoph." He told him. "Tell me something only Kristoph would know, and can't be guessed or researched." He thought for a second before speaking. "How about the password we used to have in our childhood?" He asked him. If he could still remember it, then there could be no reason Kristoph wouldn't, surely.

Just then Kristoph and Apollo felt a shock which made them both pass out. "Sorry rookie but the boss wants to see these two NOW and we're not about to keep him waiting." Vendetta Viper said unlocking the device and taking Apollo and Kristoph. "Oh well looky here. Ole unicorn boy has a locket with a picture of him and his lil brother." Vendetta cackled. "Well then we know it's him for sure. Alright Vipers let's bring these DATA dopes and collect our dues." Vendetta laughed.
"M-Mr. Gavin is it going well?" Apollo asked weakly. "Y-yes." was all Kristoph said before his mind plunged into the sea of unconciousness.

Right then and there Kristoph could feel his arms and legs stapped to the wall by metal cuffs. "Well I see you took the opratunity." Kristoph chuckled. "Well we'll waste no time interogating you. Just tell us what we want and we'll kill you quick and painlessly. And just because we're generious we'll let your rookie watch. Just remember if you don't...then be prepared to be our guniea pig for this experament." Vendetta said.

"Just stay in that chair little boy and we'll have no problems." Vendetta hissed. Apollo had no choice and complied the chair then chained his legs with steel cuffs. "We'll let you go after we wipe your memory." she laughed and then went back to Kristoph. "Now are you going to tell us anything?" she asked. "I don't think so." Kristoph replied. She then hit him hard on his legs with a steel poll. "AUUGH!" Kristoph screamed. "Mr. Gavin!" Apollo shouted. "I-is that all you've got?" Kristoph taunted clentching his teeth in pain. "Well are you going to tell me what I want?" she asked again. "Nein." Kristoph said. She then broke his arm by twisting it. "Urg!" Kristoph said holding back tears of pain. "What's the matter German boy cat got your tounge?" she asked. "Ach w-why?" he said breathing heavily. "Well since I see you are hesitant with this but since I'm seeing you have no responce..." she said then realeasing him for a second and injecting him with a mysterious blue substance. "We did some reaserch and if this doesn't kill you the cure will." she laughed as Kristoph fell on the floor. "AUUGRH It's burning my whole body is on fire! Mien gott make it stop!" Kristoph said clutching his head while his chest was arched foward.


Apollo could just watch in horror as Kristoph was so helpless in that possision. "You can just die now if you just tell me what I want." Vendetta said sternly holding onto his shirt while Kristoph was in the position. "N-no! Argh now l-let go! Every touch, everything, it hurts!" Kristoph said finally breaking down from the intence pain. She then dropped him and kicked him. "Just tell me!" she yelled furiously. Kristoph closed his eyes and rolled his eyes to the back of his head. Right when she kicked him his eyes snapped back in position. The shock and horrified expression of Apollo's face made the pain worse.

Also, Vendetta has something that Klavier wants, and that's the only reason he's staying with P.O.L.L. Otherwise he'd just quit, but Vendetta knows that he would do anything to get it back, and she often taunts him and threatens to burn it. She mostly treats him like a dog, even going so far as saying 'Good boy', and things like that. Just thought I'd give you information on the Klavier - Vendetta relationship.))

Klavier followed Ms. Vendetta back to the testing room. He hung his head all the time while walking there. He had no chance now. She was insanely strict, and if he tried to interrupt her now he'd probably get about 300 whips from the steel whip. To the face, even. When he reached the base, He was horrified when he saw what his superior was doing to his brother. His hung his head in shame, and looked away. How could this be happening? All I can do it watch. Damnit, I can't interrupt. She's getting so worked up she probably would actually burn it. "Wait!" He shouted at her. "Please, cure him. H...He didn't do anything wrong!" His voice was shaking. He'd never stood up to Ms. Vendetta before. Just like a lapdog. She just tells me to do it and I do it. And I'm not even allowed to resist. Why did I deserve this? He asked himself.

"The cure would just kill him painlessly." Vendetta said. "And I want him to suffer. It causes more pain, but not just to him but to you. And the funny thing is this is exactly why we brought you here. We needed to do a little testing and this was how I was going to get it done. And you can't possably do anything about it." she said smiling devilishly. She then grabbed Kristoph by the neck. "Now then I'll give you one last chance... will you tell me everything about DATA?" she asked. "N-never." he said with his teeth clenched. "Any last words?" she asked with venom in her voice. "K-Klavier don't blame yourself for this." Kristoph said weakly and giving him a faint yet sad smile. "Well then enjoy your little trip." she said first injecting him with the killer cure and then dropping him over the seaside cliff with rocks down below. Kristoph was underwater and the "cure" was taking it's effect. "Mr. Gavin!" Apollo cried out. He then heard the words uttered by his mentor.

He first broke the cuff with his steel gloves and then tried to get Klavier to come with him as a DATA helecopter came to pick them up. 18 seconds left. "Klavier we have to get out now. Your brother set up the plan for this to happen if we don't get out of here quick we're done for! Please I know what you've been through but DATA our group are the good guys Kristoph was with DATA and only kept it secret from you to prevent this, but I remembered t-that he told me that if we were to go on like this then was was worth living? Sure everyone told him to kill you but he didn't. He even said he'd rather die by your hand then be the one to kill you. Now come on it was your brother's f-final wish a-and we have to pull through." Apollo said draging Klavier to the helicopter.


Meanwhile Kristoph held onto his locket as he was coming to the surface to breathe. 13 seconds left... you can do it Apollo.

((Could you make Vendetta also escape into a helicopter, then both of the helicopters get gunned down by each other and everyone takes parachutes or something. Because Klavier needs his thing back.))

Klavier gritted his teeth, but eventually let Apollo drag him to the helicopter, where he climbed onto the seats wearily and slowly lost consciousness to the guilt creeping over him, like venom in his veins, climbing and climbing. Klavier tried to not think about what had happened to Kristoph, but he couldn't help recreating the moments in his mind. He heard Apollo's voice in the distance, but not what he was saying. He couldn't be bothered to make it out. Now, His life had no place for socializing, and barely place for human contact.

As Apollo was climbing up Vendetta grabbed his arm forcefully. "Y-you're not escaping. I still have some business to settle with him." she said evily. "I don't think so! You killed Krissi! You deserve to get blown up and burned I don't see why Krissi ever convince us that his brother was still good!" Lilly shouted at her hystariclly in tears she got Apollo free and then kept Vendetta in chains. "Lilly, Klavier was just manipulated...by her." Apollo said. Lilly still disagreed with Apollo on that one but she just ignored him and put Vendetta in the miniature prison hold in the back of the copter. Lilly and Kristoph were close they had done many missions together and he had even saved her from the same sitution such as this and even got her sister out of POLL of coarse Lilly's sister was kidnapped and not involved.

Apollo kept a close eye on Klavier to see if he was alright. He looked a bit pale and just asked "Why did you do this?" as he shook his head and went to the back to keep an eye on Vendetta. Part of him felt that it was Klavier's fault and part of him said it wasn't. However Vendetta had different plans for him Apollo then looked at his watch. 3 seconds left...2 seconds left...1 second left. Apollo then pressed a button and as the helecopter was escaping from the blast of the charges a lone figure was standing on the beach overlooking the scene. "You've done it Apollo, I'm proud." Kristoph said looking in the distance at the helicopter. He then went over on the long road to town clutchig his arm and was limping slightly but it was unnoticeable.

Apollo was playing back all the videos he had recorded of him and Kristoph on they're missions but he found a new video that wasn't on there before. He watched it but would show Klavier it later. Just then a peice of shrapnal borke the propeller on top of the helecopter. Everyone had gotten into parachutes including Vendetta. She latched onto Apollo and cut his strings with her hidden knife that was disguised as a hair accessory. "Ahhhh!" Apollo shouted plunging into the water. "Now he didn't think that I was going to let him live was he?" she laughed. "Oh now you've done it!" Lilly said kicking Vendetta. Now the fact was that she was brutal on other people but couldn't stand taking a hit from someone else. Because of her tough outer personality nobody bothered to try. "Argh." she muttered trying not to show weakness.

Apollo was in the ocean but close to the beach where the others were going to land. "Hey guys I'm okay!" Apollo shouted. "Phew." Lilly said with relief after finally touching down on the sand.

Kristoph was on the outskirts of town. His head was aching and his legs were getting stiffer by the hour. "J-just a little way to go." he said. He also had a weird feeling. When he started to feel sorrow he felt a numb feeling like he couldn't feel sorrow anymore. He just continued on.

That day, Klavier had a dream. The memory of it was a bit murky but he was running around in a giant maze, opening doors, falling down holes, and trying to find his brother, while Vendetta's face was where the sky should be. Eventually he had taken a correct turning and had found Kristoph, When Vendetta picked him up and put him back down at the start again. He was awoken suddenly when the copter shook rigidly. "What's happening?" He shouted to the pilot, and the reply he got was "Shrapnel hit the propeller!" Even Klavier knew that was serious, and he knew hardly anything about copters. He grabbed a nearby parachute and strapped on, following Apollo down. He saw Ms Vendetta cut Apollo's straps. "Apollo!" He shouted down. He then touched down, onto the sand, and ran towards Vendetta, when he was suddenly flying back, paralyzed. He rubbed his neck, and then remembered the shock collar Vendetta put on him. "Standard issue." She had said. "Everyone has one!" And now he couldn't take it off. "Damn." He said. "You've had me on a lead for far too long, Vendetta!" It was the first time he hadn't addressed her as Ms Vendetta.

((Yes, He has a shock collar. Guess who has the button? That would also stop the others from attacking her too.))

Kristoph was still having intence headaches and he then saw something fall from the sky and then ran back to the beach. By the time he got there Vendetta had shocked his brother. "You! How can you still be alive?!" she asked frustrated. "H-heh the funny thing is I won't be for long my legs maybe stiff and my head maybe aching but I am not going down without taking you down with me." Kristoph said. "So be it. If you win I'll spare your friends and let you know about a little detail that might save your life. But if I win...then you have to be the one to kill your brother and serve me. Besides I need to rebuild P.O.L.L after what you did." she smirked. "I agree to your terms but please drop the swtich." he said and she dropped it. "This is going to be too easy." she laughed.

She went at him but Kristoph quickly dodged and counter-attacked with a kick in her back. She was already bleeding. "Too easy? My dear I do know your one weakness. You're so fragile you can't take a single hit, even if I am injured I could still damage you." Kristoph said. "Now here's a little payback for my arm." he said twisting her arm and breaking it. He then tripped her and kicked her in the side. She then did something it was like one of those pressure point tricks but apparently she was able to accelerate the "cure" and Kristoph started to cough up a bit of blood. "Apparently y-you've never seen what things I can do to you now." she said. Kristoph then slowly got up and now his limp was showing. He then punched her in the side. "Don't you even DARE try that on me." Kristoph said harshly. "Ah being a little resistant? Well I do see how the older brother doesn't cave in as easily." she reaplied. This time she punched a pressure point on Kristoph's back. He almost collapsed but he kept fighting he was clutching his locket close to him. As long as he had it he knew what he was fighting for.

The fight had gone on for awhile and both sides were in horrible condition after all the fighting. Kristoph was in a bit of better condition but not by much. "Hmph... now I see why they ranked you second in command of D.A.T.A. If things would have been different we could have been partners. Heh heh." she laughed. "I still would have never joined you either way. You've already tried to kill off the only family I've ever had and now I'll make sure you pay." Kristoph replied. Vendetta then got to the last pressure point which was by his chest. She punched him with brute force and Kristoph was on the ground clentching his chest which was now bleeding. "Now then I guess you loose." she chuckled. Then after a few seconds Kristoph's watch was making a weird reaction occur. Because of Kristoph's rage he went ahead and got more powerful and the rose like he hadn't even been hurt. He merely adjusted his glasses his icy eyes covered by the light of the sun that hit his glasses. He then threw her to the ground and then he pulled out a cloaked platinum fencing foil. "No it's you who has lost this battle. Now tell me what you're hiding before I skewer your heart with platinum." he threated harshly.

She was nervous now. Kristoph wasn't himself in fact she'd never seen him lose his cool like this. This wasn't like the time he had flipped out during court. Oh no it was something completely different. His eyes were a yellowish gold color and only she could see them because you had to look face to face with him to see them. "Alright you win." she said in an angry tone. Kristoph still had the foil set at her chest she reached for the release switch and the collars fell off. "Now then tell me this little secret you have." he said. "Alright then. Well the cure will kill "you" but it won't kill you." she said hoping Kristoph would understand the point she was going to get across. Kristoph then crushed the switch beneath his heel after everyone took off the collars. Kristoph was still bleeding and he realized what she had said. He knew he had to get out of here before anything else happened. He quickly put back his foil and then ran from the scene. When Apollo tried to catch up to him Kristoph vanished like a mirage.

"Urg. I had to get out of there. I could have lost my memory and emotions at any given time. And if I had my foil and only felt anger plus the fact I wouldn't know who was good or bad I would have killed all of them." Kristoph said running to the hospital. He was then rushed to the ICU and was taken care of. He was given certain meditcations to combat the deterioration of his memory but they were only able to save a few of his memories such as names, his own idenity, and how to do things including his way of being a lawyer. He wouldn't be able to remember the background of the people he used to remember.

Apollo got a call and went over to the hospital and noticed Mr. Gavin was on a hospital bed. "Mr. Gavin?" he asked walking in. "Ah Apollo it's great to finally see someone I know. So far I haven't been able to have any visitors." he said. "Well I'm glad you at least remember me. I mean for a second I thought all those years we've been in law..." he then was inturrupted by Kristoph. "Years? I've only known you for a few days. Well either way I might as well get to know you." Kristoph said casually. So he really did forget us. Wow Vendetta really did do a number on him. Oh well at least he's still alive and Klavier can have a score to settle with her.

When Klavier saw Kristoph he questioned his sanity for a moment. "Either they injected me with that serum too, or that shock collar did more damage than I thought" He said to himself, but when Vendetta acknowledged Kristoph's presence, he knew that Kristoph must have actually survived the injection, and smiled when he found out he wasn't just imagining Kristoph. He watched what was happening between Vendetta and Kristoph. He was too far away to hear what they were saying, but Kristoph replied to Vendetta, then Vendetta said something, and Kristoph replied, and then she dropped the switch. Why is she dropping the switch? It would give her an advantage over Kristoph. He wondered. Then Vendetta said something and laughed. A laugh that turned Klavier's stomach into a deep pit, in which his heart disappeared. When Kristoph counter-attacked Vendetta, he saw blood on her back. Was that her weak spot or something? She'd never bleed that easily. She's got tough skin. He thought. Kristoph then said something else and broke her arm.

He watched with unblinking eyes as Vendetta did something like pinch Kristoph, and blood came out of Kristoph's mouth. They talked for a bit and Vendetta punched Kristoph. Klavier gasped, helpless to do anything. He watched the rest of the fight with awe and worry.

Finally, he saw both of the fighters struggling to survive. They talked, then Vendetta punched Kristoph's chest, which started to bleed. "Kristoph..." He said, in a whispering tone. The paralysis was starting to wear off, and he could do a bit more than watch and gasp. Kristoph rose, and didn't seem himself. He saw Kristoph pull out a... actually, Klavier didn't know what it was. In any case, he held it to Vendetta's chest, and they talked. Eventually, the shock collar fell off of his neck, so he took it off and placed next to him, when Kristoph crushed the switch. He saw Kristoph flee the scene, but he wasn't sure why. He realized Kristoph would be fine, and then he slowly fell to sleep, the view in front of him slowly becoming wavy.

When he awoke he was lying in a hospital bed. Someone must've taken me here while I was asleep. He thought. He felt fine, so he got up, and he walked to the reception desk. "Is.. Is a Kristoph Gavin admitted here?" He asked, dreading the answer. They must've been able to cure the injection, whatever it did to him. The nurse checked his computer "Yes, he's in ward 103. Just follow that corridor, turn right, go through the doors to your left, follow the corridor, turn left, ring the bell, and wait for someone to come out. They'll lead you to his bed. He had a nasty case, he did, in fact, I thought..." The nurse told him. Klavier ran off before she could finish the sentence. I don't want to know what you thought! He said in his mind. He followed the instructions and saw Kristoph. "Big brother!" He shouted, running towards him and hugging him. "Thank god, You're alright!" He said, still hugging Kristoph.

"Well Klavier of coarse I'm alright. I do have to say though that I don't remember having a brother." Kristoph said nonchalantly. "Ah you must be Klavier Gavin. I am Dr. Reese. Now then. Your brother really was in horrible condition when he came here. It seems that whatever he was poisoned with had wreaked havoc on his nervious system causing him to have a case of amnesia. Whenever he tries to remember something from his past he passes out from a migrane. So we don't know if this is able to be reversed or not." he said.

"Wh.. What? But.. How can you not remember?" He asked him, stunned. He then turned to see a doctor speaking to him, and he listened to what he had to say. When he finished, Klavier stared at him. "He.. He doesn't have amnesia!" He wiped a tear from his eye, then turned back to Klavier. "C'mon, You remember! The school dance, with you and Amy. When you first got your attourney's badge! All those presents I used to save up for, when I was a kid. That pair of glasses I got you, when I saved up for three months! You have to remember!" He told him, desperately.

Kristoph then clutched his head. "S-sorry I don't remember." he said in pain. "I'm sorry Mr. Gavin but everytime he does try to remember he gets a migrane and passes out. Either way I suggest trying to be careful when getting him to remember something from his past." Dr. Reese said.

Dr. Reese then explained about the events at the hospital...

Flashback
Kristoph was coughing up blood. Doctors were rushing to the lobby and we rushed him into the ICU. They started asking him questions, instructing him do do certain things, and finally preformed some exploative surgury. They then were able to come up with an antidote and treat him before futher damage was done. It was a long day of keeping Kristoph stable and keeping as much memories as possible. Apollo was by Kristoph side after he had brought Klavier to the hospital. Apollo would stay by his side repeating memories of times that they all had. Like how Apollo would help him with cases or aboout how Klavier and him were so close.

They were only able to save so much. Kristoph was constatanly fading in and out of conciousness. As soon as they had everything under control you could say that Kristoph only remembered 1/4 of what he should have remembered. Apollo then tried to repeat memories again but that was when the migrains began. Apollo was instructed to stop and then the Kristoph would be back to his semi-normal self.

End of Flashback...

"And that's just the jist of it. Either way if you do get him to recall anything don't be suprised if he passes out once or twice." he said walking out of the room.

"No!" He shouted at Kristoph. He wiped away another tear. "Don't do this to me, Kristoph!" He shouted at him. "How could you do this to your own brother?!" He turned and stormed out of the room. When he reached his own room, he opened his locket, and took out a photo of Kristoph and Klavier together. He sighed, putting the locket back into his jacket pocket. He then buried his head in his hands. After about 15 minutes ((I'm taking that it's night by now. If you still want to do something this night, just say and I'll take off this part.)), Klavier crept under the covers of his bed. Along with Kristoph's memories, went most of his childhood.

"I-it's not my fault." Kristoph said sadly seeing his "brother" storm off. Apollo then came into the room after hearing Klavier shout at Kristoph. "Mr. Gavin are you alright?" he asked. "Yes I am but it seems that Klavier didn't take this well." Kristoph replied. "I did regonize I had a locket like his. I do remember it being my prized posession yet everything else is a blank." he said. "Well maybe your headaches have something to do with your memory being eraced like something is blocking your memory." Apollo said. Kristoph then felt a little dizzy.

Flashback
"So what will this cure do to me?" Kristoph asked the chief. "Well it might cause a "mental lock" to be put on your memories. So chances are you'll forget nearly everything prior to a few days time." he responded.

End of Flashback...
"M-Mr. Gavin wake up!" Apollo said shaking Kristoph a bit. "I seemed to have black out again. But I remembered something. Something about a "Mental lock" on me or something along the lines like that." he said.

The next day Kristoph was discharged from the hospital. Kristoph remembered where he lived yet he wanted to pay his "brother" a visit. "Where does he live?" Kristoph asked Apollo who was sitting beside him in his car. "Just go down this road and make a right." he said. Kristoph then followed the directions and they were at Klavier's house. "Now try to call me if anything goes wrong okay?" Apollo said. "I'm a grown man not a child I am pretty sure everything is going to be alright." Kristoph said knocking at Klavier's door while Apollo went over to a resturaunt near by. Kristoph then wondered if Klavier was going to take this well.

The next day, (Before Kristoph came) Klavier woke up. He got dressed and had some cereal, and then he put on his jacket and went outside, into town.
-Events happened that will be revealed later-
Klavier opened the door to his house, and went inside. His black shoes glistened in the day's light, and so, he took them off, when he heard a knock at the door. He opened the door and saw Kristoph standing there. Klavier smiled "Hey, man. I saw Andrew Ranbian the other day. Y'know, from high school? He's done pretty well for himself, He's got a few shops dotted around town, and..." Klavier's smile dropped. "Oh yeah.. You don't remember anything, do you. Oh, well, you might as well come in. He said, walking, and sitting on the sofa. "So, what did you come here for?"

"Well I just came here to get to know you better. I mean I can't really go on with this if I don't even remember who my own brother is." Kristoph said. That little needle tore who I was away. Remember me Kristoph I am your memory. Inside your head I was locked away but everytime I do escape I fall into the sea of conconciousness. This is Klavier your own brother he's a prosecutor. Either way you can't remember your childhood or times you've had together. So while your here try to unlock this mental lock of yours. It's black as night yet shimmers with gold. So find the key because the only way to remeber is to see what happened. Ignoring the little voice in his head Kristoph waited for a responce.

He listened to Kristoph. "Well.. Look, I was wandering around town earlier, and there was this new place. Apparently it has some sort of.. Time travel machines, or something. I don't know the details, but I was wondering if you'd go with me. We could try and go back and get your memory back. Do you agree?" He said. He was really nervous, but the man had said that time paradox's were impossible, as when you go there nobody can see you, and any items you pick up are actually ghosts of the real items. You're just essentially ghosts. "I've already left messages on Howl, Franziska's and Edge's answering machines, asking if they would like to come, too, but we'll have to cancel all this if you don't want to come."

"Well as long as it helps me retrive my memories then it's fine." Kristoph agreed. Oh you might want to be careful on what you pick up. Have you ever heard of corrupted memories? No? Well it's when an original memory is replaced by an altercation of that memory. For all we know they could be setting you up. The little voice did have a point but why would he doubt his own brother?

Apollo got a call from Kristoph saying that he wanted us all to meet him at a lab with time machines. Or something along those lines. He then went over to the place and was waiting for his mentor and Prosecutor Gavin. He was wondering if this time machine would really work.

"I'll just go on ahead Apollo is already there." Kristoph said going over to the time machine lab. He then saw Apollo. "Mr. Gavin are you sure this is going to work?" Apollo asked. "I sure hope so. I can't help but wonder what my past was like." Kristoph said. "Well anyways I hope nothing goes wrong." Apollo replied.

Klavier watched Kristoph walk out the door, and soon after he rang Kristoph. "Don't go in without me, ok? I know the most important times in your life, so I'll have to set the time machine. I think the guy said that whenever someone uses a time machine, they travel to wherever they were at that time. If it's a time before you were born, you start out at the north pole. The bad thing about this is that if Edgey, Franziska and Apollo come with us, They'll be separated from us. We should been fine though. We've been in the same place pretty much all our lives." He told him.

"Alright." Kristoph said to Klavier over the phone and hung up. "Apollo one thing you should know is that if you go with us then you'll be seperated from us." Kristoph said. "Wait what?" Apollo asked shocked. "Chances are you'll start out at the North Pole seeing as you we not born at the time. Klavier will be setting the times for the machine." Kristoph explained. You'll meet me soon, face to face. You'll see that I'm more than just a little voice in your head.

I just hope I don't freeze to death. Apollo was a bit worried seeing as most of the time he would be in the North Pole.

Go without Klavier he'll meet you there just go back to the year 2010 in... Kristoph must have blacked out for an intance all he saw was a bright light and Apollo shouting. "Mr. Gavin stop!" Apollo shouted. It was too late Kristoph was in Germany and at the time his younger self was age 15 and Klavier was 7. "I'm not just a voice." and he then saw a somewhat tranpart version of himself. His other self seemed a bit dissrupted. "So you're my memory?" Kristoph asked. "You could say that yes. Either way why don't I guide you. I'm the only one who knows you best right?" M Kristoph said. "Now then I'll show you a little event between you and your brother. Something to get you to remember him by." M Kristoph said guiding him to a lane close by. The younger Klavier was going down the road with young Kristoph. "Anyway I always wanted to be in a band!" Y Klavier said. "Well just practice the guitar well and you'll hopefully start your own band." Y Kristoph smiled at his younger brother. "So what are you going to be when you grow up Krissi?" Y Klavier asked. "Well I'm planning to be a defence attorney." Y Kristoph said. "A defence attorney what's that?" the younger Klavier asked. "Well it's a person who defends innocent people from a guilty verdit." Y Kristoph replied. "Wow! So just like a super hero! Wait so who are the bad guys?" Y Klavier asked. "Well they're not really bad guys but the people who give people the guilty verdicts. They put the bad guys in jail while defence attorneys protect the innocent people." Y Kristoph said.

"Well maybe I can be a prosecutor?" Y Klavier asked. "I thought you wanted to be in a band." Y Kristoph laughed. "Well I can be both." Y Klavier said. "Either way why do you want to be a prosecutor?" Y Kristoph asked. "That way we can work together and see each other in court!" Y Klavier said happily.

M Kristoph smirked. "Just wait till he gets older. Now come with me." M Kristoph said pulling the real Kristoph to another memory. He then was transported to when he was at the State V. Misham case. He watched the whole thing but something was altered. Instead of Klavier showing sorrow he saw another emotion entirly. "Kristoph the court no longer needs you and I could care less what they do to you. Now then you're no longer needed." the past Klavier said. "W-what? So my own brother doesn't even..." the real Kristoph said before getting inturrupted by M Kristoph. "I'm afraid so. He hides it but sometimes it shows. Like how he greeted you with a frown or that scene at the hospital. Now watch what Apollo says." M Kristoph said. "Prosecutor Gavin don't you think that's a little harsh I mean he is your own brother." Apollo replied. "He isn't my brother anymore. He's a cold hearted back stabbing murderer and I could care less." past Klavier replied coldly.

"Prosecutor Gavin now it not the time to badger the witness and second of all if you were on the stand I'm pretty sure your brother would defend you to the very end." Apollo said. "So as you can see that trial marked the end for you and your brother. Apollo felt a little guilty afterwards but as for your brother well...his own words says it all." M Kristoph said. The real Kristoph just shook his head as he walked out of the time machine closing his eyes M Kristoph smirked as he changed the setting back to normal. What the real Kristoph saw was only an illusion. As he walked out he went to meet Apollo who was panicing. "Mr. Gavin you came back! I was getting worried so how did it go?" Apollo asked. "Well I know who my brother really is." Kristoph said with a bit of anger in his voice. "You saw the trial didn't you." Apollo replied. "Yes. What Klavier said about me being a cold hearted back-stabbing..."

"What? Klavier never said anything like that! I was there during the trial!" Apollo said. "Well I saw the trial and it went quite differently so unless someone explains to me what that was I won't even dare to speak with him." Kristoph said. "Mr. Gavin I know what I saw for all we know the machine could have malfunctioned or something." Apollo explained. "That could be true." Kristoph said waiting for his brother to get here.

Howl trudged through his front door as he dropped his heavy, thick black briefcase and jacket, and slammed his front door shut. He fell onto his couch when he saw his answering machine blinking with one missed call. He lifted himself up, hoping it wasn't another call from Franziska with empty threats and whips in the background. He pressed the grey message button. "You have, 1, missed message. First Message:..." He listen in about the time machine and about joining the expedition. "Hm... breaking through a redreal paradox. Flawed... But I'll amuse him with a presence." He picked up his phone and dialed Klavier back. It emptily rang. "Come on... I've'nt all day."

Klavier started to grow restless as the time passed. "Where are those guys?" He said, just before the phone rang. "It's probably one of those sales people" He said, and he went and picked up the phone. "No, I do not need home insurance, car insurance, windows, services, guitar insurance, anything!" He said down the phone. He checked his watch. I gotta be with Kristoph soon. At least he told me he wouldn't go in without me. he thought. And he picked up his mobile to ring Kristoph, still holding the other phone in his hand.
