Melody laughed. "It's better you don't know the Mafia, Sarah. Doesn't matter if you do, If you've been to Chicago, they know you. Maybe not your name, but they do know you were there."

"This is a dangerous case. I got twelve threat emails in an hour after agreeing to take the case." Mel shrugged. "But its my job, and that's the kind of stuff that comes with."

"12?!" Miles said in disbelief. "That's pretty shocking, even for the mob."

Melody shrugged. "Lets talk about something else." She glanced around, checking for any suspicious looking people. "So... How did you two meet?" She asked Andrew and Sarah.

"Um, it's complicated... You see, me and my Father were having a house party and Sarah and a few other friends of ours came. Sarah was crying about her sister's death-" He shot a compassionate glance at Sarah-"and it turned out I was working on the case of her murder. She asked me to take her to the police office so she could see her. We drove over and visited Rebecca, and when we were on our way home, a sniper shot the wheel of my car. We were both dying on the road and we ended up being saved by my father. In the hospital we realized we loved eachother and I proposed." He smiled. "And she said yes."

"My my... That was much more up and down than when me and Melody met..." Miles said.

"It's Melody and I, Miles... " Melody took another sip of tea. "Eight years ago, I think... I met a law student at the court library. He was writing some paper about... I guess I never found out what it was on. Anyway, He was all studying and the press came into the library and made a beehive for him.If there is one thing that I hate it's the press getting all over somebody like that. So I went over and asked the press to please leave the kid alone. They wouldn't so I took him over to Grossberg, which is where my office was, and let him use my library, which was apparently bigger than any law library he had ever seen. That law school student was Miles Edgeworth. I got Diego to spit his coffee out because I brought somebody home."
