Ben remained with Athena after the operation, and never left her bedside. It wasn't until the following morning after the operation the defense attorney awoke.

She glanced over at Ben, his head resting on the side of her bed. Her memory was a bit fuddled for a moment. "W..what?" She suddenly remembered. The GUILT was inside her, tearing at her...but...

She was alive. Felix, Phoenix. They saved her.

Ben stirred from Athena's movement. Upon seeing her awake, Ben grabbed her in a tight embrace. "Attey! Attey!" He exclaimed. She heard his voice nearly breaking. "I'd thought I'd never see you again, Attey."

"Ben..." she said in a quiet voice, returning the hug tenderly.

Draco's eye fell upon Phoenix, a look of slight disbelief fell upon his face, but vanished. "He's quite the student then." He complimented. "Excuse me. I better explain myself. I'm the head investigator in charge of the case three months ago, with which I'm sure Ms. Cross is familiar with."

"You mean the trial." Athena said. "I remember, you went about finding evidence against Viacole when he was convicted. But now..."

"Since he escaped, I'm held responsible," Draco finished. "Rest assure, he will be caught."

"We've set a paremeter across the entire city." Draco explained. "There's no way he'll get past out forces." He didn't seem convinced himself. "But...I just can't figure out how he made his escape. His attack on Athena was a distraction, but that wouldn't cause security to break. So how did he get pass them?"
