"Welcome back, Mist." Jack nodded at Mist, and crouched to check the bodies. He noticed the slashes stood out prominently on the two corpses Silve pointed out and studied them. "The slash marks are pretty consistent with the knives we found in the torture room. However, those knives aren't as bloody as they're supposed to be if they were used to slash these guys to death. They must've died of blood loss... 'less the knives been cleaned by the torturers."

"The only question I have is that how long have they been dead? That might be vital information..." Jack said out loud, standing back up.

"Good to know." Jack dryly remarked and looked down at the bodies. "Well, then, I need someone to help me carry down the bodies to my car. Ah, don't be squeamish now, it's just a couple of dead bodies. Granted, they're bloody, but it's only a short trip." He hauled the bodies up, one on both shoulders, and held them in place with both of his hands. Jack bowed a little under the weight, but quickly straightened up.

"Oh, and no arguing now. I certainly don't feel like punching someone in the face right now." He nodded. "Someone get the last three, and meet me down near my car. I have body bags, so we don't have to worry about carrying them like this when this is over." Jack nudged the door open and headed out into the hallway, and down the stairs. He pushed the doors open into the lot outside, and headed over to his Jeep, whistling on the way.

Hmm... Scratch marks... blood... rope...

Upon closer inspection, the ropes seem to have recently been unknotted near the top.

The scratch marks and blood seem rather recent as well. About as recent as the unknotted knots on the ropes.

Close examination shows high probability that the poor civilians taken here were either hanged or strangled. The scratch marks and blood are most likely a result of the poor civilians attempting to save themselves.
