@FMA: That does sound like a good idea. My college doesn't have too much of a variety though to offer on language courses. I think they just have Spanish, French, (maybe German?), and are starting to offer Mandarin Chinese in the Spring. It would be hard enough on my own though to try to take these classes because I gotta take my core cirriculum so I can get my bachelor's. It really sucks. My mom used to travel all the time when she was little. Her dad worked out on the boats for the navy, so she would travel around. She got to go to many different areas, like Hong Kong, Singapore, and England, just to name a few. I really do kinda envy her for getting to travel around like that. I hope you are able to go to Brazil!!! It sounds like it would be alot of fun!!!

@Lauren: Yea, Mexico wasn't a big deal either. I barely just crossed the border for the trip, and the trip to the Mexico border from where I live is only about 8 hours, so it wasn't much. The language on the signs and stuff sure changed significantly as I got closer to South Texas..... and so did the heat. It was a much more dry heat than a humid heat that I'm used to.

@Nego: That's the thing though about traveling too. We don't really have the finances to be able to do all that. Going to Mexico for a missions trip was expensive enough on its own. We aren't able to travel much because of money, but when we do, it is quite nice. Aside from my mom, I'm the only one in my immediate family who has been out of the country.

Lol. I had more vacations when I was younger. Texas is the furthest I traveled west (it is a big state after all...). The furthest east I've been is Disney World in Florida, the furthest south I've been is Mexico, and the furthest north I've been is Missouri/Kentucky. So yea, I don't travel too too far, but I have enjoyed the places I've been to. I'm hoping to go to Colorado one day to go visit my cousins up there who just recently moved there 2 years ago. I hear they got a nice place, and now they get to have white christmases..... :(

Hmm... if you want snow, just come to the northeast! We've got a lot of it, and I wish we could give some away to you. White Christmases almost every year. That turn into gray Christmases because the snow in the road gets all dirty... ew.

@Lauren: How about a trade??? Your white christmases for my rainy ones!!! XD. It's ok though. I'm not expecting any special weather for Christmas and I'm used to it. I do hope to one day travel to a place where it snows on Christmas, just to experience it. Until then, I'm happy with my Texas weather.

Yeah, I know. We used to travel a lot when I was younger, because my family used to be rich. After my dad broke up from my mom, we became poor and traveling pretty much ended there. At least long distance travel. We've been to our neighbour countries, Estonia and Sweden a couple of times after that though and the farthest after their break up was Iceland, for which I saved money. I've visited Estonia about 5-10 times mainly because everything is cheap there. You can get for instance three cakes there for the price of one here in Finland! Pretty good, huh? And because we live so close to Estonia, it takes only about an hour or two by a bout to get there.

I hope you can experience a white Christmas someday! It sure is lovely.

There's no need to be sad about it. I know it's a horrible thing to happen, but I've almost gotten over it by now. It happened about 7 years ago, so it's not really so hard for me anymore. It was horrible by the time though.

I hope your parent's don't break up! And I really hope nothing bad has happen to Naruhodou.

@Dulla: I'm not sure if those who have been able to fly in a plane should be envied. I mean it's nice to see other places, but I don't really like being onboard a plane. I always fear that something bad is going to happen. And it's really dull to just sit for hours when you have nothing to do! And even if you do have something to do, it still usually takes too much time!

HELLO EVERYONE! How's life?

I'm a lot better today. Still coughing a bit, but otherwise fine.

Also, we decorated our Christmas tree today. My friend came over- I gave her T&T for Christmas. She's playing it here right next to me. She's also 100% spoiler free, so it's interesting to see her reactions XD

And, yesterday's party was yummeh.

And, about smoking, when I find out someone's a smoker, my respect level for them drops a TON. The only exception is my dad, because, well, I know he's trying really hard to quit...

And, my parents broke up when I was 6 or 7... But it's better this way :/

Did I cover everything? XD

I only have respect for my great grandmother and all those others that are trying to quit. My Grandfather is about to kill himself though... He still farms at 70, he broke his back when his truck rolled over, and he still keeps smoking! And they think he has a LOT of other stuff.

Looks like I missed a lot...but trying to keep up with what's on the page-
Smoking-My respect level drops a bit, but not much if I find out someone's smoking. Only when they don't try to quit (even when they say they will) is when I start not thinking so highly of them. If you don't want to quit, don't say you will. I think it's as simple as that.
Splitting up-Um...I can't say much as for my parents, as they were never actually "together" when I was born in the first place. But my ex-neighbors are really close to my mom and I, and I remember going through a period where I thought they were going to split up. It scared me-mainly because then it would be really, really different. I kinda got over that, but it would still really suck if it happened.
Christmas update-We have a Christmas tree-planning to decorate it...tonight, I believe. I have my mom's Christmas gifts (work gloves, screwdriver heads, some rocks from a museum, and a collapsable ruler), and I'm planning to make her a card. Phoenix Wright themed, of course. Photoshop is my friend. :phoenix:
If I missed something-sorry! It's just...20-something pages...*twitch* Will read them eventually. Hopefully.

But I just have to say it! And so many people our there hear about those really violent divorces.

And sometimes, it's like loosing someone you love. So everyone says 'I'm sorry' because they think your dad left you forever or something.

And I say 'I'm sorry' in excess anyways.
