The anchors appeared on the TV sitting behind their desk. One of them was a young woman in a red blazer who looked so perky it was mildly disturbing. The other was a 25-year old man who looked like he was trying way too hard to be cool.
"Hello, and welcome to tonight's news, I'm Adrianna Stoker," The woman on TV said.
"And I'm Chad Adder," The man on TV said.
"We begin tonight about a block away from the Police Department, where a detective for the department was assaulted by an unknown assailant and then rushed to the hospital after a frantic call to 911," Adrianna said with a sudden serious tone.
"The detective was one of the city's most talented detectives, becoming a detective at age 15," Adrianna continued. "Arxane Gilder IV is said to have suffered from three broken ribs, a mild concussion, and several bruises to the abdominal area. Amidst all of these, however, he is said to be in stable condition."
Damn...Let's go home and show the others..."
She grabbed her coat and sprinted through the door.
