Leann had been awkwardly sitting on the couch observing for too long. She decided that she wanted to be part of the action. Waiting around for Artie hadn't done her any good. Even though she knew there were others who wanted to take a spin, Leann decided to let herself be heard. She stood up and exclaimed to everyone, "Do you mind if I spin next?"

Artie sat in deep thought as he contemplated the events of the evening, not paying attention to the outside world. Suddenly, a voice distracted him, pulling him out of his daydream.

"Do you mind if I spin next?" she exclaimed. Artie followed the sound of the voice, and was surprised to discover that it belonged to Leann.

She didn't strike me as the type of person to volunteer herself to go next. Unless...There's someone she really wants to kiss? Artie shrugged away the idea the moment he thought of it. It's not likely...After all, Melissa and I are the only ones who have really talked to her at this party.

A feeling of guilt washed over Artie as he suddenly realized how lonely she must feel at this party. I don't think she knows anyone here, the way she's been sitting on that couch by herself this whole time. Maybe I'll try to talk to her after her turn's over.

((OK- I was hoping a lesser active person would invite her in but I guess I'll need to. BTW Bethany- she doesn't need to be invited to do stuff. If you want to go next, just announce it on the OOC thread, and if someone hasn't already claimed the spin there, you can just grab the bottle and go for it. Klavier was going to go first, but Panda didn't get the actual RP onto the thread before your post so it'd be a bit weird for him to take the spin now. It's cool though.))

"SPIN-NNING!" Cara squealed, almost leaping over to Leann in excitement, and 'landing' beside her with a big grin, "DO EET!" Bursting into a giggle, Cara winked at Leann, "Be careful that you don't spin that red head doofus over there though, or he'll suck out your SOOOOUL."

((She's still a little annoyed at Darren for breaking up with her))

((ok thank you(:)) Leann was going to spin next. She grabbed the bottle and gave it a hard spin. She was anxious to see who it landed on. The bottle slowed and came to a stop. Her spins landed on Artie and Cara.

((Oh- but Cara just... Never mind. I'll assume that Cara's presence left an impact on her with an expression or something.))

"YAY!" Cara grinned, rejoining the circle, "Time for some FUN!"

Planting herself back into the circle, she watched the bottle spin in anticipation. Spotting it stop on Artie, alarm bells went off.

"NOOOO!" Cara cried as a paradox rose it's head, "You can't do that! It's not allowed! You can't divide true love!" Noticing the bottle slowing after it's second spin, it bounced to a stop, pointing at her. Cara's expression went blank. This was unexpected.

Temporarily forgetting that Artie was spun as her brain slowly processed HER being spun, she didn't expect her first kiss to be from a girl.

"Oh well!" Cara shrugged, "Me first!"

Darren's face went red as Cara adopted a kissing expression to 'tempt' Leann. She may have been crazy, but that girl could KISS. If she wasn't so insane, he would've stuck around just for that. This was going to be some display of something! Wait... two girls kissing.... Darren leaned forward in interest. Ok, over weirdness. Cara is going to make out with her for sure. This'll be something to watch!

((Uh- someone will have to hold Cara back when she kisses Artie, cause she WILL try to stop it!And yeah... Cara will likely be a bit of a wild kiss XD She doesn't have any inhibitions with PDA))

Leann froze in panic. Why did she tell everyone she wanted to play? Now she had to kiss Cara, who she didn't even know. Cara was looking at her with a seductive kissy face and Leann was freaking out. I guess I just have to kiss her, she thought. Leann slowly leaned in for the kiss. She didn't know whether to wait for Cara to kiss her or if she should kiss Cara

Darren laughed at how scary Cara was coming across. Poor girl. Why did she have to get Cara right off the bat. It must've been so daunting to be a shy girl having a loud, and obnoxious blond making kissing motions at you.

Scuttling over to Leann, Darren cupped his hand to the side of his mouth to whisper to the girl.

"Hey, if you tell her to close her eyes, we can get someone else to kiss her if she's too scarey. It'd serve her right being such a pain like that. Maybe Chris or something."

Artie watched as the bottle went round and round, secretly praying that it would land on him. As the bottle began to slow to a crawl, however, a deafening voice caused him to cringe.

"NOOOO! You can't do that! It's not allowed! You can't divide true love!"

What was that all about? What does she mean by...Artie recovered from the shock of the sudden screech, and saw that the neck of the bottle was pointing directly at him. Before he got a chance to react, however, the voice began once again:

"Oh well! Me first!"

Okay, Artie, this will buy you some time. Just take a deep breath, calm down, and don't screw this one up! Artie reflected upon the kisses he had had so far. His first was with Tascha, when he was so nervous that he just wanted to get it over with. Next was Darren, which was all about making a point of overcoming his shyness. In a way, his kiss with Leann would be his first "normal" kiss.

Ever since she arrived at the party, Artie couldn't take his mind off of Leann, even during the wedding. He was determined not to chicken out now, or else he may ruin all chances of getting closer to her.

Chris was now sitting upright and at attention. Two guys kissing was not his cup of tea, but two girls kissing was something he could really get behind. He watched as Cara excitedly called dibs on the kiss, however, he also saw Darren leaning in to whisper something to Leann. He wondered what that was about idly as he waited to see how it panned out.

As soon as Darren told Leann she could back out of the kiss she felt relief. "Yeah that would be great." The sooner Caras kiss was dealt with she could think about kissing Artie. She was really nervous but excited at the same time. " Do you think Chris will even want to kiss her?" she asked Darren.

Darren paused. He didn't have a clue actually. Cara just flew into his world throwing panties at him... there was a good chance that he was just as petrified at the mad cheerleader as he was.

"If he wont do it, I will," Darren responded as if it were the thing a white knight would do, "I promise, it'll all be allright. I'll smooth it all out after the kiss. I promise. All you have to do is keep out of arms reach while you get her to close her eyes. This wont work if she sees your substitute coming."

Cara watched Darren whisper something to the girl that just spun her. What was he saying? Was he giving her tips? Or something sinister? He was a jerk so maybe he was trying to cut her out of a kiss. Get her to respin it or something. She'd almost welcome it so she didn't kiss that other guy that JUST got married.

When Leann stopped talking though, she came closer to Cara. Smirking slightly, Cara was satisfied, Well, if he was being a jerk, it didn't work. TAKE THAT JERK.

"Ready? Close your eyes..." Cara narrowed her eyes analytically for a moment before closing them.

"Fine," She said, "But don't make me wait."

Darren madly motioned to Chris signalling for him to kiss her with a largly emoted "PLEASE" hand signal. Don't make me kiss her!

Chris took understood, but was a little confused. He had little time, however, so he snuck up as quickly and discreetly as he could, going up in front of Cara on one knee, ready to spring away as soon as the kiss was done. He looked over at Darren, then back to Cara, who had her eyes closed, waiting, wondering what this was about, but deciding that he really didn't care. He leaned forward until their lips met, careful to stay a little apart so she wouldn't be able to tell by touching him that he wasn't, in fact, a woman.

When a set of lips touched hers, a shock ran through her body paralysing her for a moment. This is what female lips feel like? It was... unnervingly good.

Relaxing into the kiss, it was the first time she had enjoyed a kiss since she first started dating Darren, but this wasn't like how Darren kissed. He always seem to have some sort of ego fuelling him. This one was more gentler.

Pulling the owner of the face firmly into her's, Cara didn't really take in the shape of the body she was kissing. It must've looked a right scene to anyone watching. Returning the kiss, she ran her finger's into the kisser's hair, wrapping her arm around the kisser. NEVER looking at a girl the same again.

((Lol- get a room Cara XD I think things would've been different with her eyes open. Looks like you can't run away though Chris ;) ))

As Cara began to kiss back, all of Chris' care in staying at a distance went out the window. He couldn't help but put a hand on her side, pulling her closer. He knew this was not the normal kiss in a Spin the Bottle game, but now that he thought about it, Cara was not a normal person in the first place.

((I'd say Cara can't thwart any kisses on Artie at this point.))

Leann was shocked by what she saw. Chris and Cara were really getting into their kiss. Is that how Artie is expectIng me to kiss him, she thought? Watching them made her all the more nervous. But she realized it was the best moment to go talk to Artie. She went to go stand by him, not knowing what to say. "Um...it looks like I spun you.." she awkwardly said.

Darren adopted a slight pout as he watched Cara and Chris kiss. It wasn't that long ago that it was him in Chris' position, and although she was far too crazy for him to handle, she was a VERY dedicated person romantically. That, he missed a little about her.

Clearing his throat loudly, the distraction for Cara was becoming a little too effective for his tastes. There was a possibility she was playing it up to be more than it actually was, but he was certain at least that this wasn't a kiss that was going to end any time soon.

"Um...it looks like I spun you.." Noticing Leann getting the courage to move on with her kiss, Darren was relieved. Chris wouldn't have to do this much longer... not that he seemed to mind much?

"Uh..." Darren started awkwardly, "You two want to finish up there sometime soon?" Giving Chris a tap on the shoulder, bro code told him that interrupting this was the worst idea ever, but the two of them could find a room somewhere else if they wanted to continue... Darn it.

((Woot! Chris can wrap the kiss up. Cara gets too preoccupied to stop))

"Oh...Uh, yeah," Artie said, trying his hardest to sound casual. His heart was pounding at a vigorous rate, and he could hardly get any words out. "But, uh...First we might wanna break up those two over there," he said, gesturing to Cara and Chris. "Just to make sure she doesn't find out what's going on." In reality, Artie couldn't have cared less about Cara and Chris; he was just trying to buy time in an attempt to calm himself down before the kiss. Okay, deep breaths, you can do this, Artie...My God, she's so beautiful!

Chris opened his eyes and was pulled back to the moment. He moved back, letting her go and wondering if he should stay still or move to make it seem as if Leann was the one who actually kissed her. He looked over to Darren, but he decided to just move back to where he was sitting originally.

The kiss finished suddenly with the kisser pulling away from her. Cara's eyes opened with a flutter, catching a glimpse of the side of Chris' face before he went to get up.

"W... wait!" Cara grabbed Chris around the the waist with both arms, and attempted to shift his body weight towards her, "Did I just... you just...?" Looking up up at him with a confused face, Cara was slightly flush. This had never happened at any spin the bottle game she had ever played!

"It looks like they're finished...soooo..um... We have to kiss now.. I think.." Cara's attention caught Leann's word's.

((Cara will go for Leann's scene if Chris runs now. Time for him to be Prince Charming?))

"Oh...Right," Artie said. An awkward silence ensued as Artie gazed into Leann's eyes. Somehow, those beautiful blue eyes managed to calm his fears. Everything seemed somehow...Right. Was that the correct word for it? He could only wonder if she was thinking the same thing.

During the silence, Artie was reminded of his first kiss when he had spun Tascha. I was too nervous to make the first move, and she ended up having to kiss me. What if Leann is feeling the same way I did back then? I can never know for sure, but standing here staring at each other isn't going to accomplish anything.

Artie awkwardly placed his hands on Leann's shoulders, not sure where else to put them. Feeling confident, he gently pulled her toward him as he leaned in slowly, and softly pressed his lips against hers.

Artie felt an unexplainable sensation wash over him. He was reminded of all the fairytales and movies about "true love's kiss", and how you were supposed to feel fireworks and hear an angelic choir singing. That was an understatement compared to how Artie was feeling. His confidence gradually rising, Artie felt a sudden urge to make the most of this moment, and began to kiss Leann more passionately. He didn't care who was watching; he just never wanted this moment to end.

In fact, it seemed as though the moment would never end, as the kiss dragged on much longer than was necessary for the game.

When Artie kissed Leann, at first she was shocked. She didn't expect him to be so forward but she was glad that he kissed her first. As he kissed her more passionately, she felt happy and excited. She was so shocked she was being kissed that it didn't even feel real to her. She broke away first, and looked into Arties eyes. She couldn't think of what to say to him, so all she did was smile.

Chris had just enough time to look behind him and see Artie and Leann talking. He had to think quickly to stop Cara from intervening. He quickly turned to face her, pulling her closer and looking into her eyes, blocking her vision of the two behind them. "I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist. I told Darren to tell Leann that I would be taking the kiss. Sorry I tricked you."

After Leann broke away from the kiss, Artie found himself staring at her once again. At first, he thought her pulling away was a sign that he had gone overboard, but when she smiled he couldn't help but smile back. Realizing that his hands were still on her shoulders, Artie let go and took a step backward.

The reality of the situation had finally become apparent to him. He couldn't believe what he had just done, yet he was so happy he didn't care. After the initial reaction of joy wore off, however, Artie began to revert back to his old, shy self. "So...Who's spinning next?" Artie asked, changing the subject as he felt that all eyes were staring at him.

Once Artie asked who was spinning next, Leann didn't know how she felt. She knew that she liked Artie, and she definitely knew that she enjoyed that kiss. But what she didn't know was how Artie felt about her. How were you even supposed to know these things, she thought. Artie returned to his spot in the circle. As he sat down, he watched Leann return to the couch. There she goes again. Everybody else at this party seems to have at least one friend they can talk to, but she keeps returning to that couch, all by herself. Artie knew he had feelings for Leann, and that kiss had eliminated any doubt he had about the idea, but that didn't change the fact that he still had to struggle with his nerves.

Nobody else is paying any attention to her...I think I need to make the first move again. Artie stood up and began walking toward Leann, his legs quivering with each step. The walk to that couch seemed to last an eternity, but he finally reached his destination.

"H-hi Leann. Do you mind if I sit over here? It's, uh, getting kinda crowded in the circle, and I'm kinda claustrophobic, so I was just wondering if maybe you wouldn't mind if, uh...Yeah." Artie scratched the back of his neck out of shyness. Why did he always have a tendency to ramble on when he was nervous?

Artie sat down next to Leann. He was thrilled that she had started the conversation, saving him the trouble of trying to start it himself. "It's certainly an...interesting party," Artie said, choosing his words carefully. "So, uh..." He couldn't think of what he should say. He figured they didn't know each other very well so there should have been an abundance of topics they could talk about, yet he was drawing a blank. "Um...So, how do you know Trucy?" he asked, regretting it immediately afterward. What are you thinking?! Don't give her the wrong idea by talking about another woman!

"I've been going to the same school as Trucy since we were little kids, but we never really talked much. To be honest, I don't really know why she invited me either." Artie was surprised to discover that he and Leann had more in common than he had previously thought. Now that they were engaged in a casual conversation, the words flowed more naturally and he wasn't so nervous. "Maybe Trucy invited you because she wanted to get to know you better? She probably thought you seemed like a nice person and wanted to spend more time with you," Artie said, not realizing that he was inadvertently describing the way he felt about her. That's when the nerves came back. "You know, uh, I mean...Like friends. I - I mean, she - probably wanted to be friends with you, that's it." Ugh, real smooth, Artie.

((Man- they're such a self abusive pair O.o BTW- You two can't be spun in the game unless you're in the circle so if people want to spin a spin with one of you in it, you'll have to find a reason to be sociable again. I suggest you make it easier on everyone if they get over their shyness a little- just enough to join the circle. They can be awkward there,. You can give it a round or two if you want them to ease into it.))

"I'm sorry," Chris responded to Cara's confused stutter, just as her attention drifted off slightly to... what was going on over there? It was something important, right? Suddenly pulling her in closer to him, his sudden forwardness dropped the scene behind her completely off her mind as a flush of warmth ran across her cheeks. "I just couldn't resist. I told Darren to tell Leann that I would be taking the kiss. Sorry I tricked you." Not really hearing what he was saying, Cara gazed back for a moment, before she realised why this moment felt so familiar.

Pausing for a moment, she stopped to think, glancing away from Chris. Why? Why did she chase him all over the state when she... well, sure, she liked his style, but she wasn't actually that into being a groupie. One could argue that being a cheerleader was being a groupie, but that was more of a social group for her. She didn't really care about any of the guys. She only dated Darren for a dare. Alex was a pretty face, sure, but he was FAR to much of a jock for her interests. Was there something more about his concerts that she sought out than his music? No... Surely it wasn't that...

Looking back at Chris, Cara noticed his expecting expression.

"About twenty gigs," Cara admitted, "My friends literally dragged me to my first one of your gigs a few months ago after Darren dumped me. It was suppose to make me happy, but instead I rebounded." Glancing aside, Cara felt a flush of red go across her face, "I think I understand now why I followed you like I did now."

Chris could see that his diversionary tactic had worked beautifully. The least of his worries now was that Cara would tackle Leann to protect Artie's "love." However, now he was not acting as a distraction anymore, as she turned serious and was blushing pretty extensively.

"You do, huh? I think I know why too." He smiled at her. "I mean, I think I do. It's pretty obvious, honestly." His confodence showed in his speech much more than he would have liked, but that was simply who he was.

"Yeah she probably did." As they sat on the couch, Leann began to think about her feelings for Artie. Maybe he would like her more of she confessed her feelings for him. After all, who didn't want someone else to make the first move. Confidence quickly rushed through her. "Hey Artie, I should tell you something. I...like you." Leann was so proud of herself for being brave, but right after she said it she got nervous. What if he didn't feel the same?

Leann's declaration had left Artie speechless. All this time he had been struggling with his own feelings for her, and she had felt the same way all along? He was ecstatic, but yet again he had trouble saying what was on his mind.

"Leann...I, uh..." Those eyes! He couldn't think straight. He knew that she was just as shy as he, however, and if she was able to admit her true feelings, then he should be able to also. After a few seconds of silence, Artie quickly said, "Ilikeyoutoo", turning his head to look down at a spot on the floor. He felt his face begin to turn red.

"Really? You do? Um..that's great!" Leann was speechless. It felt great to know that Artie liked her back. But what she still didn't understand was why he was still acting nervous around her. They both knew they liked each other, so the pressure should be gone right? Maybe Leann just had to find a way to help Artie feel more comfortable around her. But she had no idea what to say to him. "You don't have to be shy around me. I don't bite you know." she said with a smile.

Artie let out a chuckle and smiled back, relieved that the conversation had finally started to flow more naturally. As he gradually overcame his shyness he realized that, even though they had just confessed their feelings for each other, they didn't actually know one another very well. "So, tell me about yourself," Artie said. "You know, if we can manage to sustain a conversation without an awkward silence every few seconds," he added, jokingly.

Leann giggled softly to herself. She was so happy he decided to open up more. "Well, I love to read and write. And I love to dance. Umm..I'm also a vegetarian. Oh and I love video games!" Wow she talked a lot, she thought to herself. "What about you?"

Trucy grinned so wide it seemed strange that a smile that wide could fit onto her face and clapped her hands softly together as she saw Artie and Leann move away to sit together. They're SOOO perfect for each other! she thought with glee. Spinning the bottle a second time, it landed on none other than the other young female fan in the room, the very same he could remember having been spun by earlier on in the evening...

"Well, Fräuleins, which one of you will be first? I believe I heard something about an additional dare with spins as well?" Klavier inquired, raising an eyebrow.

((DOUBLE FANGIRL SPIN FTW <3 Oh and Arky, would you like Kraus added to the spins? I haven't added him 'cause I wasn't sure if he was just going to be a bystander or if he'll participate later.))
