Somehow, Taffy was right at the door, and Blade Satoshi X inadvertently collided with him, knocking the prototype DS out of his hands and into a guest's lap.
"Aw man!" Taffy lamented. "That thing's coming out of my paycheck!", not realizing whose lap it had fallen into. Hopefully that person would be magnanimous and return it.
