"Hm." Miles scoffed, eyes directed towards the fallen ex-attorney. "Intimidation will get you nowhere with me, Gavin. As much as I respect you as a colleague, I hardly feel obliged to explain myself." To be honest, he was starting to grow tired of this senseless chatter. Was the fact that he wanted to take no part in this pointless game so difficult to grasp? He would have no qualms about further justifying himself, up and out the door. The thought was becoming increasingly inviting.

'Does anyone here know where my sister is?' He asked.
He looked at the people in the circle.
This sure is strange.. He tought looking around.

She sightend and walked to the bathroom's exit.
She slightly opened it and peeked outside.
I wonder if he left already.

It was his turn for a kiss.
"Heeeeey," Darren grinned, signalling Cody that he had to break the conversation. Leaning towards her, Darren gave her an endearing smile, "It'd my turn now, isn't it?" Findng it incredibly difficult to hide that he was looking forward to the kiss, Darren quickly turned to Cody and gave him an 'I'm sorry' half smile, before turning back to Nadine. Pausing to look at her for a moment, his heart began to race as he realised two things.
One. Nadine was going to kiss him
Two. Aphra couldn't do a thing about it cause doing anything would hurt her friendship with Nadine.
He was free to do whatever he wanted.
"One for one, Jones," Aphra suddenly announced, "Every one you get, I'm going to take one too." Glancing towards Aphra, Darren looked at her weirdly. Aphra looked back with a smirk, pointing at Alex who was shifting in boredom. "I'm gonna save up brownie points too."
"Fff....." Holding back his agitation, Darren adopted a sulking face. She knew the EXACT way to get under his skin. He wasn't going to let that upset him though. He had promised Nadine that if they rolled eachother, he'd show her exactly how much he cared in his kiss.
Pausing for a moment to block out Aphra's words, Darren waited till his mind was clear, before opening his eyes once more to Nadine. Leaning over her body to her furtherest ear, Darren gave her cheek a kiss, lowering his voice, "It's time to fulfil my promise to you, Nads," Nuzzling her face gently with his, he brought his hand up to her other cheek, reading himself for it, "I believe it's your turn to bat."

"Mee-yow. Catfight! I bet these two could go at it better than the chicks in my department." Sean laughed as she jabbed him with the back of her hand, "So... are we playing? Or are we going to stare at each other all day?"
"I think this is part of how he does foreplay," Zeth grinned, egging Miles on, "Go on! Convince me to do it! Maybe Miles would be more inclined if we decided for him?"
"I don't think so," Phoenix grinned, holding back the laugh he had inside him. He could actually imagine Miles doing that too. He could also imagine him holding a debate court like styles also. He was always so... rigid. Miles couldn't be forced into things though. it had to be his own choice. Walking up to Miles, Phoenix leaned in close and smiled, "So, weren't you telling me about that courtcase earlier on this week that was going on forever and that you couldn't stand the sight of seeing that defendant's name one more time? I've been following that case. I bet right now you'd do ANYTHING to not have to think about all the paperwork you have to do for that for an afternoon."

After turning slightly in puzzlement at Aphra's words, Nadine dismissed it as part of what she'd promised to tell her later. Anyway, she had more pressing matters at hand. Running her memory back to when Darren had promised to show her just how much he cared, Nadine found herself smiling uncontrollably as Darren nuzzled her cheek.
Bringing her own hands up to the back of his neck, she leaned closer so there was only about a centimeter of space between them, giving herself one last glimpse of Darren's smiling face before closing the gap. She kissed him on the cheek first teasingly before pressing a firmer kiss to his lips.

He turned around, just to see Charisa jumping away again.
He ran towards her and tapped her shoulder.
'Charisa?'
Charisa turned around.
'Uhh.. Hi..'
Roy sightend. 'What are you doing here?'
Charisa looked away. 'I'm here for trucy's party..'
Roy rolled with his eyes. 'I don't care. Let's go.' He said and he walked away.
'Wait!' Charisa called and ran after him.
'What?' Roy looked irritated.
Charisa looked nervous. 'Why don't you stay here? I'm sure you're allowed to stay..'
Roy grinned. 'Give me one good reason to stay.'
Charisa wanted to hit a tight spot and tought deeply, and then looked at Roy with big puppy eyes.
'Because you want to look after me and still want me to have fun?'
For a moment it was quiet. 'Are.. you sure i'm allowed to stay?' Roy said quietly.
'Sure!' Charisa said with a big smile on her face. That was easier than i expected..

Tascha surveyed the room- it seemed new people were arriving by the minute. Well, it's Spin The Bottle and I've not kissed ANYONE yet. I think it's time for me to spin... she thought and, leaning into the circle, flicked the bottle with her left hand so that it traced circle after circle on the carpet. Who would chance pick out for her? She stole a quick glance at Alex. I should be so lucky...
((Nii, I'm planning on doing the double Klavier spin and he doesn't seem to be in the circle currently. Do you think you could bring him back?))

Why won't he play? Theresa gave a small frown. Although, she considered, it wasn't as strange as sitting in a room with a detective wielding multiple firearms and a convicted killer. Either he had something he really didn't want anyone to know or he simply thought it was beneath him. From what she'd seen of Miles Edgeworth, the latter seemed more likely.
"I wonder, Mr. Edgeworth...." she smiled. "...if you consider this game so pointless, why show up? And on the subject of paperwork, I have some lovely, long detailed autopsy reports for your case. I'm sure looking through them would be much more entertaining than playing a simple game with us...."

The prickly prosecutor narrowed his eyes. "What are you implying?" he sneered, a familiar wrinkle forming on his brow. True, he did remember saying something of the sort, though he worded it much more eloquently. But work was an entirely separate matter and something he took very seriously, no matter how agitating the case might turn out to be. There was a reason why he rose up to where he was now. "My work as a prosecutor has absolutely no bearing on my decision. Although I have to wonder why these children seem so eager to keep me here."
He turned to regard the cheeky young lady with the apron with a raised brow. Another crude assumption, or perhaps a case of misinformation; as it happens he was invited for afternoon tea, nothing more. He was very much tempted to advise the young lady to not speak so impudently of what she knows so little of, but decided against it. Discussing it any further would be a waste of breath. "Yes, quite." he answered dismissively. "I will expect to see those reports on my desk the moment I return."
Miles then turned to Apollo, staring at him with much intensity as he tapped at his arm thoughtfully. He must have been mad for even considering it, but he supposed answering just one question would do little harm. And if that was what it took to get these juveniles off his case, then so be it; he was starting to grow tired it all. "...Very well, then. Truth." he answered reluctantly.

Klavier watched as the newcomer walked back over to the circle, feeling a sense of relief that this wasn't a case of a poorly-executed break-in. He was starting to feel weary; watching over a room full of raging hormones was more work than he anticipated.
Strolling over back to his seat next to Aphra, he let out an audible sigh, resorting himself to fiddling with the tip of his braid mindlessly as the teenagers went about their game. Though he wouldn't openly say it, this would probably be the most uninteresting spin the bottle game he'd participated in to date. Probably because of the age difference, or how occupied the others seemed to be with themselves. Or both. For a moment he pondered if agreeing to look after the group was really such a good idea.

So I guess this means I get a dare too, huh? Tascha didn't consider the fact that actually Klavier really might not be so thrilled at the idea of kissing a teenage girl nine years his junior, whom not only did he not know, he'd never met before tonight. All she knew was this was... pretty much a dream come true for her. So why was there a small part of her brain that was telling her she'd rather have spun Alex? Brushing the thought aside, she turned to Klavier, awaiting his response.

Theresa cracked a smile- regardless of why Miles Edgeworth thought he was doing this, the fact remained that he'd agreed to join in. Though she didn't exactly appreciate being referred to as a "child", given that he couldn't be more than five years older than she was, Theresa was prepared to let it go. She wasn't bothered about the prosecutor's evident disdain for her (and pretty much everyone else in the room), she just wanted to see what Truth he would have to tell. Letting her eyes wander across the room, she caught Phoenix's eye and looked away just as quickly. What was that for? Now he'll think you're mad at him or something.... when in fact, that couldn't be further from the truth...

Zeth raised his brows at Apollos's question. "Zeth, I..." Glancing towards Zeth as he said this, Phoenix's eyes were wide in curiousity. It wasn't normal to Miles to speak of his feelings like this... Although he worried what kind of secrets Zeth himself held in his mind based off how much he knew about everyone, and if a game of truth and dare really WOULD bring out the truth in him..."

"Hey, get a room you two!" Adopting an agitated face, Alex crossed his arms, "This is spin the bottle. Not 60 seconds of heaven!" That was another game he hated...
"Oh," Darren breathed, pulling away reluctantly, before giving her a quick peck on her mouth. Smiling at her, her whispered, "Do you understand now?"

Noticing Klavier sit down with a bored look on his face, Aphra turned to him analysing his attitude considerately. As much as she'd love to make out with a rockstar, she wouldn't want to do it when she was upset. Neither of them would enjoy it then.
"Sir Gavin, you seem... bored... I guess," Aphra started, brushing some of his golden locks back, "I know that we may be a bit younger than you but..." leaning closer, Aphra gave him a concerned smile, "It doesn't have to be bad for you." Thinking for a moment, she glanced up at him, "What would make you happy? Conversation? A massage?" Leaning back a little with a smile, Aphra tried o relax a little so she didn't sound too forced, "I'd like to make this easier on you."
Sadly though, it seemed, Klavier was then spun for the game. Not only one, but now TWICE. She got a dare to top it off. Brilliant. Sighing to herself, she couldn't please everyone. Looked like she wouldn't be the one making him happy, cause she was sure she would if SHE got to kiss him...

Kristoph's brows rose at Apollo's choice of a truth. It wasn't what he'd consider the most revealing of truths, but judging by how Phoenix had been acting alone, the outcome could be quite interesting. He leaned forward slightly in anticipation for the answer, resting his forearms on the table.

"Hey there," Alex called out, "You don't need a written invitation there. Find a spot in the circle and occupy it. Most of us don't bite."
Aphra does occasionally... Alex thought, turning slightly red, She seems pretty occupied by Klavier though... maybe she doesn't like me after all....

The prosecutor tapped at his arm thoughtfully. "Where do I begin..." he hummed, as if getting ready to tell a story to his imaginary grandchildren.
"I suppose the logical place to start would be from the very beginning. Wright and I were classmates during our younger years, along with Larry Butz--I'm certain some of you would be able to recognize him. The three of us were quite close despite our obvious differences. But due to... certain circumstances, I had to leave." there was a brief pause, "After many years however the three of us were reunited in the courtroom; Wright in the defense, myself in the prosecution, and Larry in the witness stand. It's been a road filled with twists and turns ever since then."
He shifted slightly in his seat. This was the part where it started to feel uncomfortable, as probably hinted faintly by his expression. "Getting straight to the point, Wright is an honorable man. Although lacking in finesse inside and outside the courtroom, he has a strong sense of justice which I greatly respect. I..." he cleared his throat, "I consider him my partner in the pursuit of truth, and also a valued friend."
Miles raised his chin, a sort of comforting measure he imposed upon himself, taking a quick glance over everyone in the circle before turning back to Apollo. "There. I believe I've answered your question sufficiently. You may carry on with your silly game."

A ravishing young beauty showering him with attention was not something he could just turn a blind eye to. She seemed a lot more forward than any of the girls she'd met that day, which he would consent to given the usual circumstances, but even so he appreciated her concern. Just as he was about to politely decline her offer however, the sudden jolt of activity at the middle of the circle caught his attention. He watched as it spun, gradually slowing to point in front of...
A small curve started to form up Klavier's lips as the girl gave the bottle another whirl, spinning audibly, and soon ground to a stop. The small curve evolved into a full-out grin. He found a strange hilarity in it all; the moment he deemed the game to be the worst he'd participated in he finally gets spun--not once, but twice--and gets a dare on top of it all? The rockstar let out a soft chuckle in amusement. Looks like he's finally won Lady Luck's affections.
He watched silently as the next series of events transpired. The dare spin turned out to be none other than the lovely Aphra. Klavier eyed her with a certain degree of intensity, watching closely as she made her requests in preparation for the dare. There was a few minutes of silence before the rockstar reverted to his usual passive stance. He's decided. "I'd like to settle the dare before anything else." he declared, turning to Tascha with his warmest smile. "Would that be alright with you, Fräulein?"

Aphra sighed as she waited for the poster to be presented. There was something about being declined by a man once that got on her nerves, and he looked like he would decline a second time right before the spin. She was beginning to feel like attention was a waste of time on him. Maybe she needed to stir up trouble with Darren again and go after Alex. She didn't want to do that cause she knew it'd upset Nadine, but if she wasn't going to get attention out of someone...

Phoenix twitched at the insulting remark hidden by all the compliments, but that was Miles. He told it like it was. It was true that he was a bit relaxed how he didn't things, but it was all in good will. Zeth however didn't seem too impressed.
"That was a lovely speech, Worthy," Zeth started, crossing his arms, "You're very good at chosing pretty words to tone down a situation. You just brushed over A LOT of details with that testimony. Specially the details about you having to leave your friends as a child." Getting out of his seat and leaning forward as slammed his hands down on the table, Zeth narrowed his eyes, "Yeah, that's right, Worthy. My Dad was cheif of Police back then, so I got to help him supervise all the investigation in my school holidays. I never forgot both of your names when I heard that every lawyer in town had turned down your case but Wright." Smirking, Zeth shrugged, "Could hardly blame them. You looked so guilty that not even YOU thought you were innocent."
"Zeth!" Phoenix growled, "That's enough! He's said how he feels about me now leave it to rest!"
"The full truth, Wright," Zeth replied simply, "That's what this game is about, right? You should be familiar with the rules of what the full truth is. You may have put aside your badge, but you know better than anyone at this table that the full truth is what counts." Turning back to Miles, Zeth's expression became even more serious. "Then there was that case where your superior was accused of murder..." Tightening his hands up into fists, Zeth's poker face began to crumble as his eyes filled up with emotion, "You can't tell me that that case held NO impact on your friendship with Phoenix." Tightening his lips furiously, Zeth threw his arm out to point at Miles, "It was the biggest scandal in the Police department ever and you were right in the middle of it! You can't tell me that that case made no impact on you!" Apollo's bracelet pulsated when Zeth said "You can't tell me that that case made no impact on you!". Tears starting to form in his eyes then, Zeth lowered his hand and voice, "If I were you, Phoenix wouldn't just be a valued friend, but that next to a brother. He's always been there for you. Always showing people for who they really are..." Apollo's bracelet also pulsed at "Always showing people for who they really are."
((Read between the lines guys if you know the case ;) Zeth was effected heavily by it too.))

The prosecutor's eyes narrowed towards the tone-toned detective, his voice stern. "As far as I recall, Gant, this was an inquiry to my friendship with Wright. I've provided a far lengthier elucidation than what it's due to sate your hungry ears. The details of my private life, and whether or not I choose to disclose them, is not for you or anyone else to decide." his brows furrowed dangerously in displeasure. "You should know better than to divulge unwarranted information. I'd expected to see a lot more professionalism from you."

Nodding towards Phoenix, Zeth leaned forward onto the table more as he placed his fingers together in an analytical fashion, "You've devalued my estimation of you if that's how you truly feel about Wright." Zeth concluded, glancing away. "You pink Hyena."
"OK!" Phoenix waved his hands defensively, "How about I go next then, alright?" Grabbing the bottle, Phoenix placed it firmly in the middle of the circle, "I think we're about ready for someone new." Giving the bottle a firm flick, the bottle spun around furiously, before bumping to a halt at Sean. Glancing up to Sean sitting there with her feet on the table, Phoenix smiled, "Excellent. Truth or dare Miss.... Sean?"
"Nishon," Zeth butt in, "Her real name is Aimee Nishon."
"That's right," Phoenix nodded, "Truth or dare?"

She crossed her arms, forcing a complacence that she didn't feel onto her face and waited for the reply.

Trucy had been staring up at her wall of gavinners posters trying to decide which one to bring the others. She finally decided on an attractive one of Klavier doing the air huitar with a cheeky grin, peeling the poster carefully off the wall. Trotting back to the circle, she handed Aphra the poster before thumping back down into her place. "Be careful with it!" she warned, grinning at Klavier.

Glancing towards Natscha as suddenly changed her tone, a slight smile appeared on Aphra's face.Now THAT is an expression I want to see. Now I wont feel any regrets with what I'm about to dare her.
"Thank you, Trucy dear," Aphra addressed Trucy with a smile, nodding in thanks. Holding the poster up and looking at it, Aphra nodded, "He's about the right size for this to. Fantastic! Now, the dare!" Pointing to Natascha, Aphra's eyes lit up, "You'll enjoy this one! Your dare is this," Pointing to Klavier's lips in the picture Aphra's eyes sparkled in delight, "Your first kiss is going to this Klavier. It's up to you which Klavier is luck enough to get the second." Chuckling then, Aphra used this moment to his her sneer, "Just try not to get too excited with this one. I did promise that Trucy would get her poster back un-damaged."
Wow- catty, Darren thought impressively, Aphra must be possessive of Klavier. I wonder if this means she'll leave Alex alone?
