Cricket cleared her throat. "Yes! Back to that! ...I'll have to think of food later..."

Suddenly, she could hear the ending tune from Gunstar Heroes and flipped open her cellular phone. "...Mille...I'm busy..."

On the other end, her sister just chastised her younger sister. "You'd better not be busy when Noah calls. He's got something important to discuss..."

"Whatever..." Cricket muttered before hanging up quite abruptly on her sister and folding her phone shut rather abruptly. "Now...back to the case at hand...what happened. Tell me everything you can."

Yun squeezed his hat and looked ashamed of himself. He said:

"Well, Yang and I had just done the groceries, and we were coming back from the store. We took a shortcut across a park when we saw two people talking under a tree. It was really dark out, I couldn't see who was who, but Yang and I just kept going. We were about a hundred feet away when suddenly there was a gunshot! One guy fell to the ground, the other guy threw a gun at Yang and ran away. Yang was holding the gun, and I ran to check the other guy, but a policeman caught us and booked us in here! This can't be good for MUGEN's reputation...."

After all, there's a lot at stake here--mostly reputations...but..." Here she stopped thoughtfully, then under her breath added: "I sure hope that my sister Mille isn't the prosecutor for this case..."

"Try talking to Chun Li," Yun said, "She's the head of security for this tourney. She knows me, mention my name."

Yang snorted. "Everyone knows us now that we've been framed, dumbass."

Yun turned on his brother, anger blazing in his eyes. "Stop it! We're supposed to be a team, man! What's gotten into you?"

Yang simply turned away and retreated to the back of the cell.

Chun Li's office was a hotel room, complete with beds and TV, but every piece of furniture in her room was covered in paperwork. Chun Li herself was busy dealing with a large pile of it on her bed.

Outside, near the door, a tall, slender, feminine-looking Chinese male glanced down to a note card and back up to the door. "Looks like I have the right door this time...Cricket said that Chun should probably be here..." Here he knocked on the door softly, almost wraithlike. "Anyone...here?"

"Sign a written statement, and I'll get it back to her..." Duo said softly, seeming rather rushed. He didn't particularly like this hotel room with all the spirits in it, and he was sure that Cricket would still be waiting in her office with a rather impatient look.
