But seriously-that sucked, dude. But hey, look at the bright side-now you know that he's not all that great of a person. So, eventually, karma'll get him. Or tazer him. Which ever karma gets him first.

Karma already got him. She broke up with him in 2 weeks. After finding out that he was using her to bug me. Truely, she is the victim here. She was used, and she really did like him. A terrible thing really. Now, the only one who truely trusts him is no one.

@Dofa-Good. Glad that he got what he deserved. Too bad about the girl, though...it always sucks when people get used. :sadshoe: Especially when they get used in their love life.

Me? Well I probably have the worst luck when it comes to keeping a girlfriend. I had one who lied about being raped and another who had a one night stand. The rest just cheated and never cared about my feelings. It feels in my heart and soul have shattered yet I'm still nice to everyone.

Yup. After all, women usually see more in men that have a good attitude than in men that don't. Keep trying-we aren't all liars and heartbreakers.

Well, I'm not suprised you turned her down, based on what you have told us about your ex's. At least I would turn her down too.

*chuckles then takes a seat on the couch* its really personal but I'll try to make it as PG as possible.

I had dated this girl in high school before I graduated and she was into the religion of wiccan (no I dont care about religion)
We had been hitting on each other really bad so we decided to give it a try. Everytime we were wrestling around shed always be really aggressive and accidentally hurt me on occasion. I had a feeling that things would go sour after we were going so fast so suddenly. (Figure it out yourselves and if youre thinking THAT im still a virgin mind you) I felt uncomfortable with what I had did so I broke it off and that was um....lets just say she blew up. After that she started to resent me even possibly hate me. Now after she tells me that shes matured she wanted to be my friend. After a couple of weeks she says she wants to be with me. Now Im scared to death and I am supposed to visit her Tuesday. :ack:

Me too. It's nice being with other people that haven't ever dated in their life that are single losers. Go us. :pearl:

Well...I personally think that if she reacted as badly as she did when you broke up with her, then you might want to make sure that she knows that you have no intrest what so ever in her. Might get her to back off a bit, and only approach as a friend.
(Ignore me if you want to-after all, I've never dated and I'm being nosy.)
EDIT: Looking below, that might be the best way to handle things. Phone her, clear the air, then go on with the meeting. Or just ignore me. That's cool too.

Oh i seeeeeeeee. Well *lowers spectacles*. She probably thought that you had just used her and then just dumped her. Her pride was damaged and then she started to resent you. Before you see her face to face maybe you should phone her to talk things through properly and clear the air....then see how it goes from there.

I explained to her over and over it felt extremely awkward and she didn't listen. I already know I shouldn't have done that in the first place *sighs* I make really stupid moves sometimes *chuckles* and shes finally understood why I did what I did.

Well.....I still kind of like my ex even thought our relationship was a total disaster. Whenever he saw me he was at a total loss for words and it was like we were in some kind of whacked silent movie. But we talked on the phone and on MSN and got to know eachother really well. Now we are really awkward around eachother and im too stubborn to make conversation. Anyways, im still kind of into him and im 50% sure hes still kind of into me.

I would if I had some experience about the matter... Never really been with anyone, always just daydreaming and being in crush. :bellboy: I hope that would change soon though.

Yeah, I know how it feels like when you have really good conversation with someone over the phone or on MSN, but you fail in real life. I've experienced that a couple of times. I fact, I had a crush on a girl from the same school, and after a school trip to Sweden (we took the same Swedish lessons as both of us had had it from 4th grade (others start it at 7th in Finland)) she added me to her MSN. Well, we talked a couple of times and I could really make some sentences and stuff, but when we met at school, we never said anything. Sometimes we said hello, but that was it. A couple of months after that I realised we were too different and I forgot her.

But you might want to try to speak to him and check if there was still something there. I don't know, but I think it takes nothing to try.

Thanks for the advice but whats a real bitch is whenever i feel myself getting over him, he talks to me, and it all the feelings come rushing back. And we've got so much in common that even if i tried my hardest to forget him id still feel guilty for letting him slip away. ARGH :zenitora:

Same here. If I had any real experience, I would share, but having none...can't really do much. Unless you'd all like me to make something up...?
@Konkmeister-Same here. Although I've never been in a relationship and it's more of a "I'm getting over my crush-OOPS they talked to me and now I have to over-analyze every single thing they said because I haven't really gotten over my crush" type of thing. It's really annoying...and it's been happening to me for three years. What ever happened to the days of childhood innocence? :larry:
@Everyone-But does the thought of actually going out with someone scare the living daylights out of you like it does with me? I mean, honestly, the thought of going up to someone and asking them out just freaks me out. Or being asked out, to a lesser extent. Not because of the actual moment, but more of the date in itself. What the hell do you do on a date? How are you supposed to act? What if you say something completely boneheaded? All the risks and mysteries...not that I'm not willing to try. But still. It's a pretty scary thought of thinking about it. To me, at least. Anyone else like that?

Oh first dates suck. Well, it depends on what you do. If you do something active and fun that doesn't require too much talking then they're not too bad. Going out for dinner on a first date is a complete no no. You'll just end up talking about condiments for a good hour or so.

@Nego-Yeah. I tend to get way more romantic at night than in the morning. It's strange...not all that bad, seeing as how it might come in handy on a date, but still strange.
@Raiku-Right! I'm way more outgoing online than in RL. I don't know why, but not being able to see people faces/reactions really helps me talk. But I refuse to go ANYWHERE near online dating services. Rip-offs.
@Konkmeister/Detective-Thanks for advice on first dates. Assuming that's the actual hump of the relationship, I now know what to do if I don't want to be talking about what types of mustard bottles I like for an hour. :edgy:

@konk: Knowing me, since I have no experience, I would no doubt freak the girl out on a first date, seeing if I ever get a girlfriend! If I do ever get one and go on a first date, I'd be honest with her and tell she's the first person I have ever gone out with. Hopefully that would break the ice and make her forgiving if I happen to screw up..... then again... I don't see this happening in the near future.
