Cyrus stepped out of the tavern and picked up the two budweisers that were on the floor, he called his boss.

"Hello?"
"Cyrus? Are you OK? Has anything happened?"
"Nothing happened... except for some people thinking I'm suspicious and then... you know..."
"Well, come back now, the final step is complete, you must see it, Cyrus"

*Beep*

Cyrus stepped out and took a taxi back to Besworth and Co. Ltd.

Lycos woke up in a chair in a room that he knew instantly as an interrogation room. "Damn it. Why the hell did they drag me out here?" he muttered, looking around to try and see if there was a way to get someone's attention. He suddenly realized that his head was hurting and went to rub it but his arm was chained to the chair, the chain too short to allow him to reach his head. "What the hell are those dumb detectives thinking? I'm no suspect."

Ini walked into the bar. She noticed Dee Vasquez sitting at a table, drinking a martini and eating....what else? A T-Bone Steak!

"Like...who are you? Are you like....that Isabella Rossalini woman?"

Dee noticed her.

"Who are you?"

Ini Miney...I am a college student....and people call me an airhead but I like...have like....no like...idea what that like means...like....

"It means you are a stupid virgin."

"Like! Oh my like gawd! That like...was like totally rude! You are like...uber barf."

Ini somehow....lifted the table Dee was at, and crushed Dee with it. She then left.

"Stupid chain smokers who like...live in like.....mexican huts like....likelikelike..."

She then strolled off, whistleing.

"Help......me.......someone.........."

Dee closed her eyes....and everything went black.

"Self-defense? Self-defense?! There was a guy breaking and entering in the Tavern. He thought the guy was trying to rob him, so he moved in to see what the deal is. He saw something that looked like a blade and reacted. It wasn't until he struck that he realized it was a cell phone." Lycos sighed "Why would I even move a body? I didn't touch the body!"

At that moment a tall, lanky man walked in. He was sporting a brown trenchcoat and matching fedora. A Colt .45 dangled in it's holster from his hip.

He made his way to the bar, roughly pulled out a stool and sat down. "Gi'me a vodlka on the rocks... you can leave the bottle" he said in a gruff voice.

He was Sano Morgan, a detective in his mid-twenties with a failing liver. But, contrary to apperance, he was one of the top detectives in the Police Special Incestigation Squad. In fact, he'd been hunting the one know as 'de Killer' since almost his first day on the job.

"Hey Damon." Clarke sighed. "My shift."
Damon cursed, then left, not before whispering something in Clarke's ear. Clarke noticed the pictures on the desk.
Crap, it's that Cyrus guy! "Yeah, I know who he is." Clarke said, extending his hand. "Clarke Larkham, owner of the Silver Fox Tavern."

And in less than a fraction of half a second, Cyrus pulled a smoke bomb out of his inner pocket and dropped it. The bar was in smoke and de Killer dissapeared.

"DAMN IT!" Sano screamed as he bolted for what he thought was the door. Sonn enough, he was on the street. Down the way a bit someone's outline was moving quickly. Sano fired two shots, one he heard hit concrete while the other connected with a sickening thud. The figure stumbled on a bit before falling to the ground. He ran up to the collapsed figure. The figure began moaning softly as a trickle of blood ran down it's leg. Sano kicked the figure over and, sure enough, it was de Killer.

"I guess it does end here..." Sano said with a smirck as he took aim. Two more shots pierced the night, and then all was slient.

As planed, only the first bullet had been real, the last three blanks. Still, to be shot by a blank is enough to knock a man down, even cause bleeding it if hits exposed skin. "Damn it..." Sano sighed as he stared down at the still moaning man. "Oh, shut the hell up, you're not going to die" he commanded as he pulled out a smoke and a radio. "I'm goin need a bus down at the silver fox tavern as well as every available unit to begin an immediate man hunt for Cyrus de Killer." He put the radio back in his trenchcoat and pull out a match, which he struck on the bottom of his shoe. He lit up and began stalking down an alley as sirens began to scream about him. He ejected the clip of blanks and loaded it with a fresh one full of hollow points.

"No matter what you say de Killer, this ends tonight!" he cried out into the night and blew a puff of smoke and walked on.

Sano flicked the butt of his smoke into the night as he peered down the ground. The alley he had been following let out on to a closed down part of town. The road had been torn up and never replaced. Left in the soft earth were footprints. "Smuge bastard, this is what you get for wearing one of a kind shoes, a one of a kind footprint" he scoffed quietly to the night. The footprints led straight to an abandoned warehouse. "For better or worse, this is it..." he sighed as he readied his .45 and burst through the door.

Sano ignored Ayn for moment, giving the interior a quick run down with his eyes. He then turned on Ayn and grabbed him by the collar. "I gotta question, and I'm only going to ask it once" Sano said as he forced Ayn to the wall, pointed the .45 in his face, and pulled back the hammer. "There's no point playing dumb, I know he's here, so... where is Cyrus?" Sano said slowly and then awaited the answer.

"You're lying damnit!" Sano shouted as he psitol whipped Ayn across the face. "It was raining until this morning, meaning that any tracks from before then would be washed away" Sano paused for a moment to allow Ayn to take this in. "However, there are tracks leading right up to this building. What's more it that they're the distinct tracks of Cyrus's one of a kind, hand made shoes!" Sano shouted in Ayn's face. "Now you better start giving me some strait answers...or else..." Sano almost whisppered as he jammed the barrel of his .45 into Ayn's now swollen cheek.

"You also seem to be under the impression you know Cyrus, am I correct?" He smiled darkly as he took out another smoke and lit it. He took another one out and extended it towards Ayn "Smoke?"
