Darke tried to open the door to Lana's office. Locked. No problem, though; he took out a pair of keys that Lana thought she lost in court a while back and opened the door. "Perfect..." he muttered, and tiptoed over to her desk. He left a box of chocolates and a note attached to it.
It read,

The letters were cut out from a magazine and pasted on the paper to avoid detection. Darke retreated, being sure to lock the door behind him.
