Tom shook his head and wiped his tears. It wasn't the time to mourn now. It was time to fight. Those soldier werent those of Larcenia. He didn't know who these soldiers belonged too. In a fit of rage he rushed in helping Jenna.

Jenna cut down the last of the archers, making sure to cut the bowstrings as well in case some genius decided to pick up a bow and start shooting. She moved towards a group of Axe-fighters and began hacking through thier ranks.

Gaheris saw the last of the archers go down and he called back to Grace, "It's safe, we can move in now!"

As Tom caught up to Jenna he appologized for showing slight weakness in himself and asked if she was ok. He moved with caution because he knew his lance could not stand up to the axes of the soldiers. He still bravely charged on along with Jenna.

"So how many more do you think there are around here anyway!?" Tom asked.

He ran ahead to try to scout a general or something of the sort when a bolt of lightning struck right in front of him.

Jenna dodged another shot, "I think she's back with Xero. Both of them are out of this fight, so our next best bet would be that peg knight. She and gaheris are heading over here but I don't think we'll hold out till then. I'll head in, cover me if you can." Jenna ran towards the mage knight, dodging blasts and jammed her sword into his chest. After watching him keel over, Jenna looked over and pointed, "There! That Paladin over there...That'll be the commander!"

"Hes mine! Even if he uses his lance he cannot best this knight!" He looked back and smiled slightly at Jenna. "Im trusting you to cover my back you know?" With that he charged the paladin and clashed lances with him.

Jenna stopped for a moment, "Geez we've got nobles from everywhere in our merry little band don't we?" Laughing she out flanked the paladin and slashed his horse's sides. As the Paladin struggled to regain control she slashed his stirrups and shoved him out of the saddle and into the ground.

Jenna walked after him, and as soon as they arrived in camp she went over to Gaheris, "Are you sure you should still be here, Gaheris? I mean you only said you were only going to join us for that one fight, and your place is really with father..."

Gaheris raised a hand, "Lord Harkis hasn't said it but he's worried about you, Lady Jenna. I think it'd help ease his mind if I were with you. And I couldn't very well let you have all the fun, now could I?"

Jenna grinned, "Of course....Thank you Gaheris."

Gaheris smiled, "Always glad to help, Lady Jenna."

Xero simply weaved around Gaheris and kept going. "...Revenge."

Chelsea kept going after him, continually pleading him to stop. It wasn't long before they reached a camp; Xero clenched the emblem hard. "I'll... I'll kill you all... you stole my father from me!!" The emblem began to glow, and in turn made Xero glow. "I'LL KILL YOU ALL!" The Larcenian guard took notice as white lightning struck his figure, and he felt himself getting stronger. His sword grew longer, he became taller, his robes lengthened, and he felt himself becoming wiser in the arts of the Swordmaster. He then shifted completely from view, and within seconds the entire camp was splattered with a pool of blood. He reappeared back where he was only seconds before and sheathed his sword.

(Xero classed up to Swordmaster!)

Is that what you want...? I know you're feeling grief, but it was still an accident, and we're all in this together! Please... please don't do this. Don't get yourself killed! We're fighting to free our people from the Larcenians, but we're not out to slaughter them all in vengeance... remember what Thomas said? He's their prince, after all. I think, with his help, we can stop this!"

Xero finally sighed. "... You're right. ... I... I'm sorry."

"Xero!" Chelsea ran and hugged him.
