"So, wait...Whoever did this probably would be here right now so as not to throw suspicion on themselves. They wouldn't be the first one here, I'd imagine, so they could dispose of their bloody clothes and get cleaned up. And they wouldn't tell anyone the full side of their story. Possibly avoiding the subject whenever asked or not going into detail...So, who fits that description?" Lida asked casually.

Blondie shrugged "We can't say that for sure Lida...no one heard the murder so we can't tell how early the murder was....DeMata discovered the body but didn't see anyone sneak past him, the murderer could be long gone and have changed their clothes." he said "That said since theres no way out it'd be a simple matter to search the hotel and find the bloody garments then we'd have our killer cause they'd have to have hidden them somewhere!" he said excitedly.

We may have taken control a little, but NOTHING has happened over the last four pages, so what if we made up some evidence, it's not like we're saying what someone else had said was wrong. The number one rule in RPing: Never deny someone else's reality, within understandable terms. If we had godmodded, then yes, it would make more sense, but we didn't.]

"If we are, indeed, dealing with a smart killer, then they wouldn't dispose of their clothes the conventional way. I believe they wouldn't put them in their own room. ((OK, time to get this into "More Serious Mode".))

After some thinking, DeMat cleared his throat. "I think it's clear", he started, after making sure he had everybody's attention. "...That there's a huge obstacle in this investigation's way." He posed his hand in his chin, covering his mouth, posing one arm in another one, thinking. He un-covered his mouth only to speak. "I don't know if there's an easy way of saying this... But we have to solve this issue."

"OK, I'll just say it straight", DeMat decided. "The problem here is we all know eachother, and know none of us could be a murderer. But we have to face this fact: One of us murdered this man." He paused, looking for good words. "And we have to... "ignore" our relationships, in order too go ahead with this investigation... in a proper way. That's everything." He stopped, and waited for responses.

((Percei, you don't think I don't have this murder figured out, do you? According to BlackJack's wishes, I did well prepare this mystery. Adding information without my permission could only cause trouble leading the rp not forward... But into oblivion. Just wanted to say that.))

Greeny stepped forward and looked at the body. "Okay then, let's just assess what we already know. The body here was stabbed in the chest with a large knife. It has the Gatewater logo on it so the knife came from the kitchen. There's no signs of struggle, so the killer most likely used the darkness to take the victim by surprise." Greeny pointed at the victim's hand, which held the key to the lobby.

"The Bellboy has one of two keys to the lobby. I have the other. He locked the door behind him when he left to check the power box. DeMatador found the body when he went for a glass of water; he found the lobby door open, and therefore not locked."

He turned to Herr Blondie. "Herr Blondie heard something from Blade's room, but he himself denies any knowledge of what happened that night." Then he walked across the room, towards percei. "Percei went out for a stroll that night, and he thinks he heard someone."

Then he paced across the room some more. "The bellboy was rather new here, and I don't think any of the guests knew him in advance. The motive here is unclear."

He looked at everyone, having finally reached a standstill at a location where he could overview the situation. "It would appear there are no other witnesses. Also, allow me to once more present this map of the area.

Spoiler:

The rooms are west to this map. I believe, according to what we know, the only people in the hallway tonight were Percei, DeMatador and the killer." He paused for a moment.

"Unless the killer is one of those two, of course."

Tsuki walked up to where everyone was gathered. "I looked everywhere, but there doesn't seem to be anything else suspicious in the lobby. I'm going to investigate the other areas."

DeMat was glad Percei agreed with him. "That's exactly what I tried to say", he added, slightly smiling. "Thanks, Perc."

He then turned to Blondie, but spoke to the rest of them.
"Before anything, we should know if anybody has a problem with it, I guess..."

He then heard what Greeny had to say. He was shocked to what he said in the end, but he calmed down. "I'm not fond of being suspected", he said. "... But those are the facts, and we can't deny them."

Then, he turned at Percei. "It seems further interrogating is the only alternative now. I assume you and Blondie will lead the interrogations, so if you need me for anything, just tell me."

"I finished dinner, seached for my PDA in the dark, and failed. I walked to my room, and stayed up for 30 minutes or so. Then I went to sleep and woke up once in the middle of the night. My stomach rumbled, so I searched for food in my room, found nothing, and ignored it. I then went to sleep."

Blondie nodded taking down BSX's notes "You got up in the night because you were hungry...wasn't dinner enough for you?" he said in astonishment "Seems a little odd you'd get up so easily but if you were so hungry why didn't you go ask a bellboy for something? DeMata and Percei both got up when they needed something to drink" he asked "Don't take it too hard BSX, it's just everyone's on edge, the others will get the same treatment" he said wondering if he was the only one who had a relatively normal night.

"As for you Lida any more details regarding what you got up to last night are welcome, didn't you notice DeMata leave last night?" he asked her

"I found something," a voice sounded from the other room. It was Tsuki, standing in the dining room. She held a frying pan in her hand. "Looks like someone, for some reason, hid a pan here under a table," she then said, gesturing to the table she found it under.

Blondie frowned a little unnerved by BSX's unusual biology but shrugged it off to turn to Tsuki "You reckon one of them brought that from the kitchen as well?" he asked moving over to look at the pan "Is there anything unusual about it?" he frowned seeing an ordinary pan.

Tsuki examined the object for a bit, and shook her head. "There's nothing out of the ordinary about it. It's just a pan. There don't seem to be any fingerprints either."
