He looked up again. "I guess you're right, though. I have to fight for my father, and Grace... the kingdom of Arsenia... the world depends on us right now... we have to get to Vadras... we have to stop her."

Tom decided to go out even though it was very early in the morning and walked around the proximity of the inn sighing. He kept looking back at everything that had happened to this point. About the attack, leaving his home, and even coming back to the land of his birth.

"Oopsie!" Chelsea held her hands up and it started to rain over the tree, putting out the flames.

I'm... not sure what it is, exactly. All I know is that now it's more important to me than ever."

He sheathed it. "I have to protect Grace now that she's gotten herself into this mess. I've already lost my kingdom, my mother and father, everyone I knew but Thomas and Grace. Jenna and Gaheris are taking care of Thomas, and I'm watching his back as well; but now I'm worried about Grace. So I'm going to protect her."

Tom quietly headed in for the night smiling. Even with the world seemingly spiraling around him there were some people in this world he could trust. He limped back into the inn and went to sleep hoping his wound would heal slightly at the least
