"The sad thing is, I would have. But you saw the body. If it were me, I'd probaby spend too much time, thanks to my OCD. And you'd see me."

DeMat scratched his head. "Yeah, I'd probably now.", he answered. "But I never relate videogames to real life, and I had never had anything to do with a murder. So I didn't think as rationally as I could."

He then gasped at BSX's revelation. "Blade... Your theory...", he paused. "It includes the cloaked figure again...!" He gasped some more. "Then... Mom's dream..."

He pictured himself being stabbed, as Lida's dream told, and he panicked.
"Oh God, no!!", DeMat shouted. "Does this mean- Does this mean I'm next!?"

Blondie chuckled seeing them panic "Hey don't you little kids worry, the murderer is one of us, and they already know what you seen by now unless they've not been listening all the same they can't exactly act, don't worry you've got me Percei and Greeny to protect you," he said "All the same BSX you actually saw the murderer supposedly which is more than the dream we have to go on don't suppose you can go into detail about the killer also did you see the bellboy?" he asked before frowning hearing BSX's response to Lida "How could you not notice anything? You said he loitered, its not like its a brief glimpse you got?" he asked

BSX sighed. He finally told the full truth, and people were skeptical. He was worried that he might be made more of a suspect.

Lida nodded, an understanding expression on her face.
"...I'm the biggest wimp here. I haven't told any of you the whole truth about last night...Because I have three children at home, and one right here. I don't want to be the next target," Lida said. If I just leave out that one part, nothing bad could happen, right? "I went out last night as well. To the kitchen. I heard something rumbling, so I hid under the table. All I saw was the cloaked figure leaving the kitchen. If I wasn't such a coward, I could have stopped them, but I was terrified. I went back to my room, and then I had that dream, then I came here."

DeMat calmed down, realizing his panicking was pathethic.
"Y-yeah...", he said. "I guess I shouldn't worry."

Then, he turned to BSX. "If it makes you feel better, BSX, I would never believe you would have done it." He smiled to him, and patted his shoulder, too. "We are all just in this tense atmosphere, we shouldn't be acting like this. We should both calm down, we are too young for this." He laughed a bit, and gave BSX a compassionate look.

"Well, this business about the cloaked man and all does freak me out, but I must admit it sure tells something. If all this is true, and apparently it is, then the murderer was using a cloak... Which would explain the lack of fingerprints...?"

"Sorry, I couldn't give you an accurate description. Their back was to me, so all I saw was their height," Lida replied. "I know I should have said something before, but...Well, frankly, I thought that would be like painting a gigantic target on myself and saying, 'Kill me because I saw you.'" She smiled slightly. "I got out of bed because I needed a drink. Didn't I already tell you my mouth gets dry at night?" The first outright lie she told. Lida always was good at lying because she only lied over the smallest of things.

"Well, I was also a little hungry after not eating much dinner. I don't know how I could even think about eating despite my concern, but, well, my stomach is less rational than my head. I figured in the kitchen, I could kill two birds with one stone," Lida answered. She was only telling a half-truth, but she was hungry and thirsty and that was part of the reason she was there. She chuckled. "I was afraid they saw me. For some reason, I thought I would get into trouble for getting myself something to eat."

Blondie nodded "I know you have no motive yet no one here has, this bellboy apparently has no connection to any of us so taking Motive out of the picture you are suddenly the most likely one to commit the murder, having came from the kitchen around the time of the murder," he said extending his hand towards Lida encouraging her to speak further "And anyway why would you need to go to the kitchen and risk all the trouble, a few night staff would be on hand to help you, unfortunately one has ended up dead tonight." he said straightening his dressing gown. "Even then you've never been to the kitchen before it's a staff area and the power was out how would you possibly be able to cook something at that time of night in a pitch dark kitchen when you don't even know where the pantry and utensils all are?" he asked "You certainly took an unusual method of getting something to eat and drink especially considering you could've got a drink from the tap without even leaving your room" he said clutching his notepad tightly. "Why would you go so out of your way to get something to eat?" he asked her directly.

"You're a smart man, Herr Blondie," Lida replied. "My motives...Weren't exactly pure. I went to the kitchen to *ahem* 'steal' the 'secret recipe' for the chicken we ate. I was going to find the recipe, read it over, and memorize it, giving it back before we left. I just wanted to know how it was done. But I wound up not doing anything when I saw the cloak figure. As I said, you're a smart man, so I trust you know how ridiculous it is to suggest I kill someone. I don't have to vehemently declare my innocence, no, that is what most others do. But you're smart enough to know, that, regardless of your suspicions, you can't make a formal accusation without evidence, and you do not possess any that point me out as the killer. You also never will find any along those lines because I didn't do it. It's as simple as that."

Blondie swallowed deeply ".....Thats it....you wanted to take.....a recipe?" he said releasing the notepad that was crumpling in his grip somewhat let down at the simple motive "Well....your right there is no evidence but your certainly suspicious considering how much you hid from us but....we know quite a bit now....I guess I should thank you for your help." he said scratching his chin "Though I'm a little curious as to how you planned to read a recipe in a pitch dark kitchen, if the killer couldn't see you surely you couldn't read it?" he said thinking back to how delicious the meal was last night. "Anyway your information might fill in a few holes...I'd like to talk to Percei and BSX a bit more about their nightly wanderings, same with your son but I think we're done for now" he sighed getting up and stretching.

DeMat followed curiously Lida and Herr Blondie's conversation. Blondie's deductive habillities were amazing, and Lida realized she had to tell the truth. She probably hadn't if Blondie hadn't pressed her so well. That, and he was certain Lida was telling the whole truth. He usually knew when people did that.

Then Lida spoke again, after the interrogation.
"I need to talk to my son in private", she said.
He was surprised.
"Hmm?", DeMat asked. "You need to talk to me? Ok, I guess."

After waiting for BSX to leave them in private, he asked her, in a low voice:
"What is it, Mom? Anything you need me to answer?"

"D-Don't worry, Mom", he said. "I'm... I'm sure it's not going to happen... But it's OK if you want to be with me the whole time, I would understand." He tried to smile, to comfort Lida, but he found it hard to do it.

"Also, Mom...", he added, "...You really don't recall having seen the man in the cloak, neither asleep nor awake, do you? You can tell me, it'll be safe with me."

"I recall the man or woman in the cloak very well," Lida replied. "But...Well...It was dark. I could only see their outline, which was how I could tell they were wearing a cloak, and their height. But, at the time, I was too busy worrying about being seen, so I just...Let them go. And to think, I could have stopped this whole thing." She smiled slightly. "I'll stay with you, Matty, as long as we're here. Until we find the killer. Now, there was some other matter Herr Blondie pointed out when I said I went to get a drink. Perhaps he'll ask the same of you. Or maybe he already did...Anyway, there was something he said about a tap. I think he might ask you why you didn't use that instead of going to the kitchen."

BSX looked around for anyone he could talk to. He couldn't find Yashi, Blondie had accused, as had Greeny, Justin had miraculously dissapeared, and thus, BSX had no-one he knew he could talk to.

He looked for a seat, and sat down. Then he put his head in his hands, and become depressed. At least there were no tears.

Lida noticed Blade, and felt a wave of sadness well up inside her. She was empathetic towards people to an extent, and it always killed her to see someone depressed like that. But what should I do? I can't very well leave Matty alone. Not even for a moment. Not when anyone in this room could be the killer. She sighed. "Never mind, Matty. How about we go over to BSX? He looks like he could use some company." She grabbed DeMat's hand gingerly and walked over to Blade. She tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey, Blade. May we join you?"
((I gotta go. I'll be back soon, though. I hope.))

"Y-yes," he sighed. "I can't believe this. 14 and already I've witnessed the type of murder I write about. I shouldn't be like this, when I write about these things, but being accused, and witnessing who could possibly be the murderer is never good. I just want to go home to my family."

"I don't think that helps, Herr Blondie," Lida said. "Would you please leave us alone for a couple minutes? You have other people to interrogate, don't you?" She waited for Herr Blondie to leave. "Look, Blade, Herr Blondie is casting suspicion on everybody. It's just his way of finding the truth. Besides, I'm the most suspicious person here." She smiled. "An adult is far more likely to kill that bellboy than a kid." She patted BSX's shoulder. "We all want to get home. I have three kids and my husband waiting for me. But the fact is, we can't go yet. We all need to be strong, okay? We'll all get home, we just need to be patient."

Blondie nodded heeding Lida's advice starting to look around for other folk to interrogate Are they frightened I'll push them too hard? he said noting a distinct abscence of other people in the room until BSX spoke to him from behind.

"Hmm? Your ok to chat about it?" he asked chuckling lightly and smiling "Sorry if I seem to be casting suspicion and stuff I just get a bit carried away at times I guess" he said scratching the back of his head bashfully "I'd just like to talk more to you seeing as you are the best witness we have being there at the time of the murder" he said waiting to see if BSX would comply.

Blondie raised an eyebrow seeing BSX take out a pen of his own "Hey come on who's doing the questioning here?" he chuckled sitting doing on the couch "Right what I've got you doing last night, is getting hungry and coming down here....did you go to the kitchen like Lida? Or see her at all last night?" he asked.

"I went off to the dining hall, because I wasn't gonna break into the kitchen. I looked for leftovers people left. When I was content there were none, I was about to lave when I saw a figure. I quickly looked for my PDA fr light, but couldn;t find it. I couldn't see him, except for this outline. I suspected he had a cloak on. But I did NOT see Lida."

BSX noted the sitting.

"I'm not writing this interview, rather something else. I'm writing the idea for my next mystery story."

Yay, lies. Writing a styory at a place like this?

Blondie beamed at this "I love mystery stories, you'll need to let me browse it after our talk" he said "Though looking for leftovers seems a pretty weak reason really, this is a top notch hotel, you think they'd just leave dinner lying around after we'd finished eating?" he asked "I'm pretty sure they even took our dishes away so they could bring out desert dishes...." he pondered trying to remember dinner last night himself.
