Rather than just straight talking it turns into talk think talk think. Keep an eye on this one. 4. Expanding sentences: "Okay" is nowhere near as good as "Okay, I'll get right on it." Unless your character is specifically listed as speaking very terse, don't be afraid to do that. Also, as a LAST RESORT, you can avoid contractions. This can make things awkward, but at least it's one more word. This has been learning time with Elias. Tune in next time when we'll be talking about the birds and the bees... The animals and the insects you sicko! God! This. Most definitely. Somebody needs to place this in the rules post. |

It was at my cousin's wedding. My Mom asked my uncle to get a diet coke. I drank it whole she was away. It wasn't just diet coke. I drank my aunt's water to get the taste out of my mouth. It wasn't water. I then decided screw it and got a small drink of my own. That night ended up being miserable for me (though the problems throughout the wedding made the day worse altogether). And that's why I'm not tempted by booze, (though I really wasn't in the first place.) Congratulations! You all now know more about me! Anyways, back to the subject! So son, can you dodge a wrench? As for your mother, don't worry. We're both insane, just in different ways. I'm in the crazed Cthulhu investigator way. Which is why I'm going to give you my Yithian battery and my copy of the Necronomicon so you can (assuming you don't go insane) make an Elder Sign to protect yourself from Impossible Cosmic Horrors and your mother. Speaking of which, if any of said alien horrors come asking for a cowboy that speaks Italian, tell them I'm not home... Now, if you excuse me, I must go cry in my nerd cave about what I've just written. |
