Said a man coming into the evidence department. He grumbeled to himself. He wore a blood red trenchcoat that was open and wore a wine red hat with a feather in it. Underneath his coat was some black t-shirt that had Dark Side of the Moon imagery on it and a pair of loose black pants. His wallet was chained to his pocket. He was about 24 to 26 in age. He went up to his locker and put his hand on the handle on it. It seemed as if he hadn't noticed nobody else in the room at all as he took a pair of black gloves from his pocket and put them on after opening the locker. He yawned.
"What'do I got in here..."

He took out a screwdriver, a gun, a few bullets, and then a shotgun. There was also another pair of gloves in there.

"Come on," Ben argued, trying to close his driver's door with a degree of difficulty. "We've gotten an invitation to the ceremony, and it would be rude to brush them off." He finally slammed the car door hard, causing the window to crack slightly. He sighed in frustration. "Besides, all my old buddies should still be here. I'd like to give a shout out to them as well."
"Yes, but keep in mind," Athena began, pushing her half-mooned glassed to her face. "This ceremony is for prosecutors. Prosecutors, Ben! I'm a defense attorney, for God's sake!"
"So?" He asked in his matter-of-fact tone. God, she hate's it when he can't get a clue. "We're not in the courtroom, and also there's not case going on at the moment. Why can't we simply be social to our rivals. I mean, it wouldn't hurt, would it?"
She hated to admit it, but Ben had a point there. "Fine," she gave in. "But I'm sticking close to you, Benjamin Jacob Credable. I will hold you responsible for my well being at this cerimony."
Ben couldn't help but smile as he offered the blue-hair woman his arm, which she took. They then made there way to the precent across the street.

Here she put in her combination and stuck her thumb on the fingerprint scanner as the lock clicked open and a Jammin' Ninja plush with a knife in it fell out almost immediately.
"...It...it was evidence from where that one guy was on trial...the one who tried to frame my little sister..." She cheekpuffed, stuffing it down in her handbag. She then filed the other evidence in a box -- bullets, a saxophone reed, bloodstained black leather gloves, a bloodstained chain, and the tatters of a pink shirt.

On the computer screen, two words flashed up. "Saria Field." Thhe man ignored this, and went trhough. He went past ille, and to the locker to lockers away. He puleld out a glove, and turned it inside out. HE placed it ont he handle, and swung it open. HE placed the glove back in his pocket and took some bullets out, after checking the ballastic markings, and he then took a gun. He didn't take anything else out. Then he shut the locker.

The officer named Mark glanced up from his work and smiled openly. "Benny! Long time no see!" He stood and shook Ben's hand enthusiastically. "Man, I'd never thought I'd seen you again."
"Again?" Ben asked, confused. "What do you mean? I came here not but a week ago, remember? Looking into the DF-34 case? My friend here..." he mentioned Athena by placing his arm around her shoulder. She glanced at the hand, then coldly at Ben. "...was the defense attorney for that suspect, Fabio Mongomery."
"You don't say," Mark replied, apprently un interested with that fact. "Well, if you'll excuse me, Beeny. I've got to clear all this out before the cerimony. I hear I'm nominated for most oustanding achievments."
"Right," Ben replied with that smirk on his face. "I'll talk to you later, Mark. Good luck!"
It wasn't until he was gone when Athena cleared her throat. "Ben, your hand...my shoulders...off, now."
Ben then realize what he did and took his hand away like he had touch hot coal. "Oh! Sorry, sir! I won't do it again, I promise!"

"Well," Ben started, trying to remember exactly what the paper said when he read it. "I'm pretty sure it's today."
Athena scowled at him. Why did she ever keep this buffoon around her office? "And that's all you can go by?"
He noticed the dagger stare she was giving him, and hastly said, "W-well I know it's sometime after lunch."
"Which is neary four hours from now, Detective!" Athena was ready to hurl this hot coffee into the idiot's face. "You've dragged me down here to wait for four hour! That's it, I'm heading back to the office!" She slammed the cup down on the desk and turned to walk out.
"W-Wait, Ms. Cross, sir!" Ben stammered, getting to his feet. "You didn't drive here! It'll tale nearly three ours by foot to get back there!"
"I don't care, Ben." She said, and continued on.
"Come on! They have a great lunch special before the cerimony and it free!"
"I don't care much for cafeteria food."
"Aw, come on, sir. You really need to get out of that offcie once in a while. Get away from work. Otherwise you'll grow old faster from the stress you put on yourself."
Athena paused at the door, realising she was a workaholic. She sighed and turned toward the P.I. "Fine, I'll stay. But I'm sure I won't enjoy it."
"Great! Now, I want you to meet the guy who came up with the Blue Badger design."
Like I said, I'm not going to enjoy it.

He muttered. He finally noticed the other two, apparently, as he looked at them. The red burn mark was right on his left eye.
"Oh really? You've never seen me? Then again I usually don't like coming here. I also work the graveyard shift. Detective Steve Barbara."
He bowed and swung his hat down at his waist. When he came up, he put it back on. This flourish seemed forced, as if he had to do it.
"Anyway, you seem to know Edgeworth pretty well."

He reached into his locker and pulled out a cloth of somekind. There was a faded bloodstain on it.
"While Yanni Yogi had no fingerprints, this was obviously his. It had his skin residue on it, and an exact cut was missing from his jacket. It was found in the lake and tests confirmed that both this was both his and so was the blood on it. It also confirmed the blood had been there since Christmas Night of that particular year, and what's more, the blood had appeared on it while udner the water. The only reason it wasn't presented in the trial was because it was hard for the crew to get his DNA out of the cloth and examine it."
