(This RP is open to anyone. If you've not played the Castlevania games, the basic idea is to cleanse the castle of the evil spirits and creatures, and put Dracula to rest. You can have any kind of weapon (or pick up weapons in the castle), but be realistic - this isn't the far future.)

Xero walked up upon the castle, a dagger in his right hand. He had heard noises coming from it, and while fearing them, didn't want them to terrorize the city. He walked up to the door and opened it...

A dark figure jumped over Xero and though the open door. Then keep moving onward at a fast pace, with a needle in it's hand.

Xero quietly stepped in, knowing his friends would not be too far behind. He left the door open, and walked through. The air felt intoxicating, but he stood strong through it and walked through the corridors. Of course, soon he heard footsteps; whether it was an enemy or one of his friends, he waited to see, hand in pocket in case he needed to draw his dagger.

Iris slowly followed Xero and heard the footsteps too. They're was also a loud moaning sound. iris tapped xero on the shoulder and....

Xero jumped, and turned around. "You scared me, Iris!" He shook it off. "Either way, this place is creepy. I-- Look out!" He dashed around her and stabbed a zombie that was coming at her. He quickly recoiled and kept his dagger at the ready; more zombies were appearing. "You... did bring a weapon, didn't you?"

"No need" the figure from before threw a needle into the zombie's spine, "god I hate zombies, you can never tell if you disabled them or not." At this point, you can tell that the figure is a bald man in purple "robes".

Xero led them to the top of the stairs. At the end of the hall were a few more zombies. "Well. This should be fun." The evil laugh resounded even louder, meaning they were getting closer.

Eventually they came upon a man draped in dark clothing. "... It's you... Dracula!"

Dracula smiled. "Well well. Welcome to my castle! I hope you are having fun..." He then laughed evilly.

"This is no time for jokes!" Xero retorted.

"Ah yes, you are very correct... I might as well make it even more fun for you!" He draped his cloak, and then draped it outward; bats and zombies came from nowhere and surrounded them. "See you later... hee hee hee!" he then vanished.

"Damn it!" swore Xero. "Well, we've got to get rid of these enemies and then give chase!"

A god Dammit its so hard to kill these bats with a sword said Iris fustradedly. Wht can we do to get a gunman... After around 20 minutes they finally cleared the bats, but by this time Dracula already got away.

Xero found a pistol lying on the ground. "Hm..." he flipped it and fired at the ceiling on accident. "Well, at least we know it's loaded." He sheathed it. "I'll keep it with me just in case. Keep an eye out for new weapons..." He led Iris down the hall, the creepy moaning sounds getting louder; he knew more zombies were coming.

Iris hears a loud panting sound behind her. She slowly started running closer to Xero only to trip on a item laying on the ground. It was a sword. Then imediatley she used all her strength to dual weild. Now iris had two swords and they continued. The panting sound from behind was gone now.

Xero saw more enemies come, and quickly dispatched them with the pistol, quickly shooting them. Unfortunately, it didn't stop there; mummies began coming their way, and zombie archers began stationing themselves. "Oh... crap."

(And now I must go back to work. Be back in about seven hours.)

The undead archers started firing. Iris had to constantly dodge until she got close enought that there bows would be useless. She used her two swords and killed all the archers knowing that xero would deal with the mummies.

((I'm so late for this story, but I'm joining in))
Hearing the footsteps of another, Violet drew a light sword and threw on a scarlet cloak. She silently moved down the steps and looked around the corner, when she did that, a loose brick fell from the corner she had her back to. Violet swore under her breath as she heard footsteps coming her way. Her sword drawn, she was ready to attack at any moment.

Xero quickly picked up his knife and cut through the enemies, almost leaving everyone else behind as he wove his way through the piles of bodies. He found another staircase; and up he climbed.
