Alright, it's time we created a Fire Emblem RP. Because it would kick so much ass.

I'm not going to release the storyline yet; I'm still tweaking it. It's going to be open-ended though, so don't worry about being confined in terms of what you can do.

I can't put a full classlist here, so if you haven't played Fire Emblem and you want to join, PM me and I'll get a class list put together.

Basically, Fire Emblem is a game where you control a legion of people, each person having their own weapons, styles of battle, hit rates, critical hits, and classes. You use the customizing of your team to your advantage.

In this RP, however, only 15 applicants will be accepted. Once that is over, the signups will be CLOSED. I will say when this happens. That's 12 characters, and 3 for various boss chars. I will be RPing as the bosses until someone offers to take one.

We will also have Support Conversations. After a time, I will allow the participants to choose two chars (either a 'cute couple' or a 'best of friends' kind of SC) and we will hold a special SC for the two chars chosen. There will be many allowed; I will decide whether it should be two new chars or if the participants can choose two existing people in an SC already. There's only three allowed for two people, but they can have three with various others as well by the end of this RP.

Here's the rules I must ask everyone to follow:

1. We will be following the weakness list as governed by FE. Meaning, Sword>Axe>Lance>Sword, Light>Dark, Weapons>Archers>Mages (I think, please correct me if I'm wrong, it's been far too long since I played to remember the entire list), Archers>Peg/Wyvern Knights.

2. If you start crazy shit in the RP for no reason or break any normal RPing rules (Godmodding, taking control of another character, for example "Uhai hits Jay. Jay falls," when Uhai is your char, will be breaking RP rules), the participants will have a vote whether you can stay or you leave. If it goes too far, however, you will be asked regardless to leave. If you do not, the others will simply ignore your presence.

3. Please, PLEASE type coherently. I can trust a lot of people for this, but there's some that still don't do that. This isn't really a rule, just a favor. Use good grammar and spelling, use quotation marks and the 3rd person, and please use good judgment in your words. If English is not your first language, we'll spare you some grief.

4. As for the Support Convos, I'm not going to do a "majority rules" thing, but I'll be deciding in the end who gets what in terms of SCs. I'm going to be very fair, I promise. The reason I wish to ask what you guys want in SCs is because I want your opinions.

5. EVERYONE gets to chip in. This RP can be what you make it, if we all help each other describe stuff, make plot twists, etc.

(On a final note, only three Lords will be allowed. Remember that Lords cannot Class Up, so you won't get to change your fighting style if you choose one. Oh, and you cannot allow yourself to die, either.)

Class: Myrmidon (Quick-footed swordsman, good with critical hits)
Weapon: Swords/Katanas
Starting Unique Weapon: Blade of Fury (Katana) - Very fast sword, Xero can use this to wipe out legions of enemies in a short time. However, this weakens him greatly after having done so. This weapon, like all others, WILL deteriorate after a certain amount of time.
Attitude: Serious. Xero doesn't play around with his enemies much; he enjoys battling with a passion and strives to protect his friends at all costs.
Appearance: Short blue hair, green shirt, blue jeans, sheath for Blade of Fury on his back. (Also for any other weapon once it runs out), blue eyes, serious demeanor.

Class: Ranger (balanced swordsman with speed and power. classes up to Lord.)
weapon: swords of any type (exception: Katanas)
special starting weapon:Fenrir, a light-weight bastard sword with a distictive blue tone in the steel.
Atittude: laid-back and easy going with a sarcastic streak a mile wide, but evasive about her family. a mercenary by trade, Jenna's willing to put up with a lot if it means getting paid. That doesn't mean she won't fight back if needled though. Quick and efficient in battle, Jenna does her job well and is proud of it.
Appearance: Fairly tall, waist-length ash brow hair, dark brown eyes, green headband, dark green long tunic shirt(torn and missing sleeves) , tan pants, calf high riding boots,ragged dusty blue cape, mismatched armor including two leather gauntlets and a shoulder guard (pauldron) on the right side. Fenrir (or other sword) hangs on the right side. general appearance is one of wear and usage. Often seen with an impudent smile.

Ooh, I love Fire Emblem! Thanks for making one!

Name: Chelsea
Class: Mage (Classes up to Sage.)
Weapon: Fire, Thunder
Starting Unique Weapon: Light of the Heart. (Chelsea uses this to send lights into the air, useful for distracting soldiers. They also tend to blind anyone in a 60 meter range. However, this tires her out after a time.)
Attitude: Carefree and Childish. Chelsea doesn't tend to act her age. She has a real weakness for money and treasure. She also acts first and thinks later. Despite this, many seem to respect her.....why is this? (I'll PM you about this.)
Appearance: Long yellow hair, light blue shirt with light blue shorts and a light blue cape. She also wears light blue boots and light blue gloves.
She joins later. (I'll PM you about that too.)

Good thing I've played these games before but I'm just worried about the exp. and leveling system (I trust it will be handled just fine)

At times when things look their bleakest, He is always firm and holds strong with belief in his comrades. During times of war, he can be strong-willed and can appear even cold hearted.
Appearance: Brown hair and eyes, tall and bulky wearing his favorite crimson red armor.

There won't be an EXP or Levelling system. As it is an RP, you'll just seem to get stronger over time. I'll just make it that after someone's been in about five or six missions they can class up.

I'm assuming the governmental structure is going to be the generic FE setup. That is:

Arsenia~Oligarchy (a la Lycian uninion in FE7)
Verdia~ Tribal System
Larcenia~ corrupt imperial society or corrupt gubenatorial set-up with an oblivious ruler.
Moltalir~ monarchy or empire
Sarkia~ no government or "Fort Mayne" (rule by strength.)

Thanks so much for starting a FE RP! I've only played one FE game up till now, but I'm in love with the series! If I get picked, I'll definitely try my best to be knowledgeable about the workings of FE ( or bug Jenna for help!). This is my party character, but let me know if there's anything that I need to add/change >_<

Attitude: Vain and egotistical with slightly sadistic tendencies. Quin prefers to play with enemies before killing them. Quin is overly friendly, making it hard to tell between his attempts at sincerity or if he is plotting something.
Appearance: Average height, jet hair, blue eyes. Dark brown tunic, pants and cape, all worn from travel, worn boots and a side bag for tomes.

Hmm... This seems really interesting. However, I've never played a Fire Emblem game. I might "acquire" one and try it out when I get the chance, and then decide if I want to play in this RP. Sounds really cool though. I always like Xero's RPs, no matter how random they really are.

Hold it!

You can't begin without a healer now can you? I don't have to start on the first mission though if I'm too late. I'm not sure I can make 9 AM either. (What timezone is this anyways?)

Name: Sevan Kiani
Class: Priestess (healer, upgrades to bishop with Light magic)
Weapon: Staves
Starting Unique Weapon: Nehushtan (go go Biblical/mythological references) - A simple thin, bronze cudgel, Nehushtan is a fragile heirloom of the Kiani line. Curiously, this staff is rather short, about the size of a walking cane. Even more curiously, a vicious-looking silver snake is entwined about the pole, rearing its fanged head at the top. One thought to be a sacred shaman artifact, Nehushtan is said to be able to cure injuries and illnesses of distant patients in a single fell swoop. However, harnessing the staff's holy power requires true wisdom, something philosophers can only dream of, and doing so drains the user vastly. (Essentially, unusuable until much, much later in the game)
Attitude: Fearful of battle, Sevan was content to tend to the great library of the Grand Arsenia Cathedral until... <insert plot here>. Perhaps a childhood friend dragged her along for the ride or she was sent to deliver a message as an emissary or she found something interesting in a book and had to investigate. I'd need the grand plot to fit Sevan in.
Appearance: Black hair tied back, glasses, green eyes, cream robes, sea green sash, prayer beads, comfortable boots, scholarly air.

And Magic works like this: Light>Dark>Anima>Light, with the Anima Subset as Wind>Thunder>Fire>Wind.

Yeah... I'm a big Fire Emblem fan and am a member of a dying, but well set-up Fire Emblem RP Forum. I'll post a link if anyone's interested. As for my character, I'll see what all classes are picked and fill myself in accordingly.

Xero looked out as the sun rose, and the mail had come. Just like always, every morning. He was a Knight of Arsenia, and he got the mail for the Marquess himself. This time, however, he saw a letter that said "Urgent, open immediately!" He frowned; the King wouldn't like it if he looked, probably. But he opened it anyway, and read:

Knights of Arsenia,

My kingdom is in great need of your help. We are under attack by a group of unknown monsters. We suspect this to be the work of Larcenia, but we are not entirely sure. We request your assistance; please come as soon as you can!

"She needs help!" He quickly got his friends together (the initial party), and told them what was going on. He had gotten the Marquess' permission to help Verdia, as well. "We must leave at once!"

They left for their journey, but not long into it they were stopped by a pack of monsters.

"They've reached us already!?" Xero readied his sword; it had been a while since he fought, but he was ready.

"Ah-ah-ah~" came a voice. A young man walked up behind the monsters. "So you're one of the Knights of Arsenia, are you...?"

"What do you want!?" Xero demanded.

"Temper, temper..." the man shook his finger. "We've come to quiet you all down. Verdia is already conquered; and you're next, my friend. In the name of Larcenia, I challenge you to a fight! Get them!"

The monsters came after Xero and his friends.

It was time to fight. Xero took out his Blade of Fury and rushed at the enemy...

My kingdom is in great peril...I will fight with all my might to protect the throne!

Thomas thought that when war would rage he would be ready and willing. He soon found himself anxious and a bit nervous as the bloodshed grew more viloent. He tried to look for any familiar faces when he was ambushed by a Larcenian soldier.

"If you think you can best me that easily, your wrong!" Thomas roared to the soldier and impaled him with his iron lance.

Into the distance he could see many soldiers fall at the blade of just one soldier.

"Xero...? That has to be him! No other soldier could fell as many enemies with a simple blade." Thomas thought to himself.

He called out to Xero as he rushed towards him.

"XERO! XERO! Over here!" he yelled. "I don't think we can handle these numbers alone!"

Xero was quickly slicing through the monsters, not looking back. He was surprised the leader didn't come after him yet, however it didn't stop him.

"We can do this!" Xero said. "We have to get to Verdia as soon as we can!"

Thomas sighed, "Those reinforcements better get here soon then or were done for!"

Even in the armor Thomas was wearing, he was still fairly quick but still couldnt catch Xero. As he stopped, monsters surrounded him almost appearing as they were going to attack in an angry mob.
I hope you can make it Xero...cause I dont know if I will now.

Xero quickly weaved his way around some of the enemies. They turned around, facing him, and tilted their heads in confusion. He quickly turned around, rose his sword in the air, and flew forward at the enemies. He slashed at them as quickly as he could, literally slicing their bodies in four or five pieces before he stopped, kneeling down and his sword touching the ground. The enemies he faced fell over and died, bleeding into the earth. "Not too many left..."

After killing the monsters, Thomas could see where Xero was. He wasnt too far away but with the stance he was in there was going to be trouble.

"Man this is getting to be a real pain..." he groaned as he raced towards Xero.

"You aren't hurt are ya?" Thomas asked.

"Ha. Of course not," said Xero, straightening up. He turned around and faced the boss. "But I think it's this guy's turn to feel the hurt. Hey you! You're not going to take over our Kingdom!"

The figure laughed. "And you're going to stop me, I suppose? Come and get some!" He took out his own sword. "I am Henji! You will not defeat me!"

Xero rushed in and clashed swords with him, but the guy threw him back. "Ha...! You have to be faster than that," said Henji. "You're not going to defeat me with speed alone!"

Xero smirked. "No, I'm not." He motioned to Thomas, who was behind the boss, "Now! Attack him!"

"WHAT!?" said Henji.

Thomas charged towards him with his lance impaling his torso slightly.

"You maybe skilled with the sword but you cannot match my skill of the lance!" Thomas bellowed.

He readied for his final strike the gaze in Thomas's eyes was fierce. He rapidly spun his lance and struck Henji down.

"Damn it all....you currs...will pay for this...." Henji gasped his last breaths.

Thomas smiled and looked towards Xero. "You okay?"

Xero whipped his sword around and sheathed it. "Well, that was easy. ... I wonder where Jake was, though. He was supposed to meet up with us." He then shrugged. "I guess he'll come join us next mission. Come on, Thomas! Verdia needs us!" He then started running down the path, determined to get to Verdia before it was too late.

(One mission from being in Verdia.)

"Heh...looks like the fun is just beginning. HEY! XERO! Wait up! I thought you'd be wiped out after that batlle." Thomas chuckled but then he gazed a serious look. "Why did they attack anyway? What was their purpose...?"

As they walked, Xero answered. "If he came from Larcenia, there can be only one answer. They must've recruited some kind of monster force and decided that they could try and take over our kingdoms. I'm hoping that Verdia's not overrun yet; we have to get there as soon as we can. I'm thinking maybe a day's walk, less if we can run." He saw a monster force ahead, and sighed. "Looks like we'll have one more bout of resistance before we reach Verdia..."

"Great just great...first the imperial city now this. Well shall we begin then?" Thomas asked.

Thomas readied his lance. Even though it was his first day outside of training without the other knights he knew this is what he had to do. It was his sworn duty as a knight of Arsenia.
He readied his lance and with Xero they charged into battle.

Xero rushed in, quickly dispatching of most of the enemies. He let Thomas deal with the other half, but after it was all over he couldn't see a boss in sight. Before he could turn around and ask, an arrow shot through his shoulder. He gasped and keeled over. "Damn it!" He swore out loud. The boss came out, wielding a Longbow.

"Hee hee hee. You're not going to get to Verdia that easily!" said the figure. "My name is Genji. Don't go forgetting it, now..." He readied another arrow.

A short distance away form the heat of the battle, Jenna and a contingent of soldiers stood.
One of the soldiers walked up to Jenna, "Cap'n, aren't we supposed to enter the fray?"
Jenna watched the Xero and Thomas fight for their lives, "We'll wait for the right moment, corporal. Our orders were to jump in when things get too hot for the Arsenians to handle, and a Raiju Mercenary always follows orders to the tee."

As Thomas dispersed of the enemies he heard Xero's yell.

This better be some good armor I'm wearing

As Genji shot the arrow, he stood in front of Xero taking the shot. Thomas now stood with his heavy armor and 1 arror barely snuck in the armor.

"Whew...glad I made it...you have a knack for grabbing attention you know that Xero?" Thomas chuckled as he readied his javelin.

"You want to fight that way then eat this!" Thomas yelled as he threw the Javelin straight at Genjis chest.

Genji gasped himself as the javelin flew through his chest, piercing his heart. "I... am defeated...!? Master... forgive me!" He then fell and died.

Xero panted a bit. "Thanks... we have to get to Verdia, now!" He stood up, and ripped the arrow out of his shoulder, giving off another yell. "Damn..." He took out a medkit and quickly staunched the two holes, so they wouldn't bleed. "I'm going to need medical attention when we arrive in Verdia..." He walked onward, seeing a castle in the distance.

They were almost there.

Jenna smiled as she saw the final blow struck. "You men head back to the main force. I'll join you shortly" She then leapt onto her horse nearby and rode over to where Xero and Thomas stood. "Good job there greenhorns!"

As they were walking, Thomas felt faint and stopped to kneel down.

Damn that arrow must've penetrated my armor deeper than I expected it too..

Thomas got back up and started to walk towards the castle with Xero hoping that nothing too serious had happened. He kept wondering to himself as he walked on.

Why is this happening? Why now of all times? Whats going on!?

He was suddenly suprised by the sudden appearance of this ranger and lifted up his lance and planted it into the ground.

"Heh it wasn't much but....HEY WHERE WERE YOU ANYWAY!?" Thomas shrieked. He looked around...
"WHY THE HELL DIDNT YOU HELP US!?"

"Who are you?" Xero found himself asking the girl. "And, 'greenhorns'? I've been in training for years." He frowned. "I think I'm a little better than a 'greenhorn'..."

"I doubt you've been doing this as long as I have. And you don't need to yell knight. My hearing's perfectly fine. I had orders to help if things got too hot for you kids, but it seems you're fine."

"Well...we need to get going anyway. We have to get to Verdia before its too late." Thomas explained.

As he began to walk again he started to feel an immense pain the right side of his body.

Damn! Not now! I...must get to Verdia...

He knelt down again reaching for the arrow that had lodged into his armor. He felt the immense pain as he reached for the arrow and yanked it out. As the arrow was taken out a burst of pain swept through his body. He yelled in pain and grasped at his wound.

"Man that guy was a good shot...either that or I have bad luck."
Thomas chuckled.

Jenna watched Thomas for a moment before tossing an Elixer, "Here, this should help. I have to get back to my unit. hope our paths cross again, greenhorns!"
With that she rode back towards the way she had come.

Thomas watches as the mysterious person and shrugs it off. He stashes the elixir away thinking there will be a more dire need for and uses a vulenary and then travels on to his destination.
