Athena nodded, keeping her breath calm. She did forget about the calm smile Nicole gave her when he was taken away. That smile sent shivers down her spine. She glanced over at Phoenix. "Better be careful, Nicolas is known to be somewhat volatile."
"Attey," Ben protested.
"Don't worry, Ben," she said, patting him on the shoulder. "Just remember who I am." She touched the rim of her glasses, tinted with a slight green.
Ben nodded. "Alright, but I'm sticking close, just in case."
Athena smiled, noting her best friend's concern. They went in.

They were directed to the second floor, into a room where Nicolas was waiting. His eyes fell upon Athena, and a smile curled his lips. "Ah, my deary. You have returned to me at last. Pray, may I ask, I am familiar with your red haired idiot friend..."
"Hey!" Ben shouted.
"But I'm not aware of your other companions. Please, tell me. Who are you?" This question was directed at Phoenix.

"Mr. Vaicole," Athena intterupted, causing the man to turn back to Athena. "We are here for information, and nothing more."
"Information, you say," Nicolas replied, rubbing his chin. "Do tell."
"You act will no longer work," Athena stated coldly. "So quit with your theatrics and tell us what you know. Tell us about GUILT."
Nicolas expression turned stone, his eyes locked with Athena's. For several minutes, he said nothing. Then the smile returned. "You can try to break me, lawyer, but you will get no where."
"We'll see about that." She reached up to her glasses to remove them.
"Um you guys might want to step back," Ben suggested, inching away from the table.

Athena pulled her glasses away, and her grey eyes then began to glow green. In a commanding voice, she yelled "Take That!"
To the others, it would appear that Nicolas has gone stiff, but to Athena, a series of chains and lock appeared across the man's heart. "Mr. Vaicole. I will extract the truth from you."
"This, is what Athena excells at," Ben said. "Breaking Psych-Locks."

"Try as you might, Ms. Cross, you will never get the truth from me. That goes for you to, Mr. Felix." He smiled that wicked smile. "Yes, I know of you. The surgeon who rival with Derek, the original surgeon who took care ofthe first strand of GUILT. You will not fair so well with your next patient, I assure you."
"Mr. Vaicole," Athena continued. "You have been the cause of much suffering in the comunity, you face the gallows if you do not cooperate. Tell us, who gave you the orders?"
Nicolas said nothing.
"Your silence speaks measure upon your reason, Mr. Vaicole. And I think I understand why. You fear for life."
"My life?" He laughed, loud and hard. "My life is already over. They give me the death penality and I will fade. And I take this secret with me."
"I never said your life, Nicolas."
He paused, the smile faded from his lips. "What do you mean?"
"You have a family, don't you? A wife and two sons back in Romania."
He started, glaring at the woman. "How did..."
"I'm not a fool, Nicolas. I've checked with your history in Romania. You have a loving wife and two sons, whom you care for unconditionally. However, they were threaten. Threaten by a certain group who wanted you to do something. And that was this." She pulled out the photo of the worm-like virus, GUILT. "You were to inject this virus into a victim in order to spread it across the country, but something happened. The virus reacted to quickly and killed the patient before he could make it out into the world. You were afraid, and tried to pin the blam on another doctor to hide yourself, and make another attempt. But you didn't....and you still have that virus with you."
The locks shattered one by one, all while the man chuckled.
"Very good, Ms. Cross. I'm quite impressed. Yes...I do have the virus with me."
Athena felt a cold shutter fell across her body.
"And I will fufill my duties...and take my revenge."
"What?!" Athena exclaimed.
Before anyone could make a move, Nicolas lunged at Athena, and hit her with a small vial. the glass shattered, cutting at her and causing her to recoil. Ben was on the man in an instant, holding him down while the bailiff, cuffed him. Nicolas laughed histerically. "I've done it! Now see what you have done, Athena! Your meddling has cost you your life!!"
Athena knew it was the virus in the vial. "Ben...get me to the medical...Aggh!!" She felt the virus already tearing its way into her body. "Ben!"
