"If Miss Hall were digging under her bed, she lost something. That suggests to me that someone stole her letters, most likely one of her roommates."

Kyoya took a pointed glance at Nana and Hoshiko with his camera before continuing. "The train crashing would cause the large container to fall immediately if one of the struts were removed (GM confirmation), therefore the strut must've been removed after the crash! This is the true time of the crime! The killer would need to know about the crash."

He then grumbled a little low. "And again, I don't believe she was alive when pinned down. I didn't hear her screaming for help before the container fell, and the killer would just be taking the risk of her screaming for help. Even if he knocked her out he'd be taking the risk of her waking up. At the end of the day it matters little when exactly she died if the initial altercation happened after the crash, but I believe it was her corpse that was crushed by the container."

"We are certain Siri used the vents before the crash. The emergency shutters went down on either side of the restaurant ventilation shaft, making it impossible to climb through. Which means she must have been in the storage room before the crash... but does that meant the killer had to go there before the crash too?"

"I don't think the killer had to know about the crash beforehand. After it happened, they probably realized they could alter the crime scene to make it look like they died in the crash."

"Well, it seems to suggest to me that the killer was somebody in the kitchen!" Kyoya proclaimed. "The hole was either so they could keep a watchful eye on Siri or perhaps they machinated some sort of rope to attach to a loosened strut that they could pull at any moment."

"Ahh right there was a hole right." Also ignoring skylars previous mention of it. "I wish I could say anything about it but after the crash there was fire all around the kitchen and I couldn't open the door to get out, had to use a window to escape the kitchen."

"I still feel like we've got to be missing something here," Eli said following an amusingly long, slightly awkward silence. "I think the main thing we should be focusing on is the actual cause of death. People brought up that Siri was hit with the middle strut, but that doesn't really get us anywhere. And it can't be some random piece of crap that the killer tossed out the window, unless the whole murder happened before the crash. And that would be even less helpful."

Eli rubs his arm and looks off to the side. "Well, I suppose the murder weapon could simply be gone...but that just seems a bit too easy. Momma always said it's the simplest things in life that hide the greatest complexity."

"Is it possible the crash knocked Siri out in the first place? It definitely seems like she got in the storage room well enough, and we can be pretty certain she didn't leave, so she was in there when the containers flew everywhere. Maybe she was still conscious before that."

Anderson scratched at his chin, surprised that the bot let him do that much. "I believe the current theory, or at least a summary, is that Ms. Hall was in the storage room, and her killer used a hole in the door to the storage room to pull one of the struts out of the wall. Thus, the container fell over, crushing Ms. Hall.

"Beyond that, I'm not sure myself. I think the current 'main' suspects are yourself, your sister, Ms. Nina, and Mr. Fournier."
