"We still can't say that the Lucky Student and Hitman is among the culprit and Liza. Even if no one is claiming that is their talent, we can't know for sure.."

Raymond sighs. "We might want to focus on another mystery instead."

"What about the food?
Why was it in the arcade,
And where is it from?

"The fridge was emptied,
Yet the printer was used too?
It's quite perplexing."

“Just the flashcards, anyone could do it except me and Cain.” Colin volunteered. “I think we should discuss the schedule, but in depth. Find out where exactly everyone was using the map, where everybody else was at the time of certain events, all that Jazz.”

"Sounds good to me." Ray replied. "Though, most of the crime took place at night, where most of us were asleep.. But knowing where people were during the day can help us at least a little bit, I imagine."

"At 11:55 pm Monday, Rina was set to clean the Lounge.
At 10:00 pm Monday, Liza was set to clean the Zoologist RC.
At 8:00 am Tuesday, Aria was set to clean the girls' Changing Room.
At 8:00 am Tuesday, Simon was set to clean the boys' Changing Room.
At 9:00 am Tuesday, Damien was set to clean the Gymnasium.

“We should reference this often.” Colin decided.

“Liza was supposed to be in the zoologist RC, while Rina was lured to the lounge. This is pure speculation, but whoever the killer is may have not wanted to kill while someone else was scheduled to clean near Rina, in case walked in on. So perhaps Liza purposely designed this schedule so she could kill Rina while on her own cleaning duty. Again, this is loose speculation but we need to think deep. Plus the zoologist lab and crime scene are very close.”

He sighed. “This is what I believe happened for the rest of the night.”

[Updated timeline]

"All I really concluded is that the sounds we heard in the cells line up with the gunshots Cain heard...or perhaps it was just someone sneaking in and out of their cell. Regardless, that should be enough for you worthless idiots to inspire a thought."

When Colin decided to go to bed I went for a walk along the beach, passing by Ohishi's RC. I laid down in the sand and tried to just relax, and I must have started to fall asleep because I was startled awake by what I thought was a gunshot. It was very faint though, so I listened and heard another shot a few seconds later. Nothing followed afterwards, and I convinced myself it must have been something else. Still, I returned inside, and after getting a glass of water from the cafeteria I returned to my cell and went to bed."

"There's somethin' that's been botherin' me about what you said, Cain." said Maribelle evenly. "I can't figure out how you could've heard two gunshots comin' from the lounge, but none of the rest of us could hear them-- even Colin, who was in his cell much closer to that room. Is that supposed to mean that the gunshots didn't come from the Lounge, or else there never were any gunshots to begin with?"

"The shota seemed pretty confident the crime scene was the lounge." Colin reminded. "But still, if it was outside, then it becomes much more probable that it should've carried to Haikunt. Especially since the only indication of foul play outside was right by the Haiku RC." Colin chuckled, knowing he had another suspect.

"The gunshots Cain heard were faint. We thought this meant they were far away, but perhaps they were just suppressed gunshots just a few paces away from him, all the while he's unable to see."

Maribelle frowned. "That's possible, I s'pose. But although I'm a lady, and don't know about such things, I sort of always thought that suppressors made it so that the gun fired less accurately..." Maribelle paused. "O-o-of course, I don't read adventure books about shootin' or killin' or adventure or romance-- that'd be very unladylike, I reckon..."

"...But anyway, my question still stands-- if the blackened really shot Liza and/or Rina through a window in the Lounge, wouldn't usin' a suppressor make that either impossible or at least very very hard?"

"Very, very hard. But not too hard for someone like.. say, the ultimate Hitman. I fear that I even lack the skill to pull such a feat off, Which would only explain why the gunshots missed vitals. It was a hard shot to make."

Maribelle cleared her throat. "What if Rina were attacked at the beach-- beaten until she was knocked out with either the fishin' spear or some other blunt object? Then the killer led her to the Lounge to finish her off with the gun, but finds Liza? The killer shoots Liza, but then Rina wakes up, they struggle until the killer shoots her too? That'd explain the blood on the beach and how their bodies ended up in the Lounge, right?"

"So, based on our testimony, the gun was fired on the beach, but Rina and Liza died in the lounge?" Simon says.

"Oh, I got it!" Simon shouts, "What if they were shot through the window! That kind of thing would be easy for someone like the Ultimate Hitman!"

"Is there even a window in the lounge? I can't remember. I wasn't really paying attention."

"You guys are struggling. Alright then, let's show you something of worth."

Monokuma pushes a button and a video plays on screen.

It appears to be a deep blue area. Water perhaps? Yes, a shark casually swims by. Something bumps the camera and all goes blank. It felt a lot smaller than a shark.

Monokuma pulls out two antique pistols.

"Say, guess what Monomi just found in the ocean?. He points the guns at Yuma and fires... the guns click empty. He fires again, nothing.

"Welp, no misfires this time. Upupu, these things cost a fortune y'know. Buying new bullets will force Monomi to sell her soul again."

"Oh and just because I'm so nice, here's the items for the Mind Mine lifeline:"

Azurine opens her mouth in surprise.

"Bzz...So that thing we just saw in the video was the gun that fell into the ocean? ZuZu supposes that kind of makes sense.." Her device ponders.

"Hm," Cain grunted. "There is value to each. Do we get to pick which device, or do you just tell us one? It would be useless to be told the gun was used twice."

"It means the killer was at the beach at some time in the night to dispose of the weapon," he told Simon. "They would have had to go after I returned inside."

"Hey, can I get some water? And maybe a cough drop--but not the ones that cause you to make animal noises," Mikael requested, his voice still quite strained, "Anyway, I have a theory regarding the pillowcase. It could've been used to-" Mikael was interrupted by a sudden urge to cough. It took a few seconds for the coughing fit to subside, after which Mikael continued, "It could've been used to strangle someone, probably Rina, just by putting it over their head and pulling tight . . . I think. Then the killer burned the pillowcase to try to get rid of any evidence on it. As others have already said, the fishing spear might have also been used to bludgeon Rina. S-So cruel . . ." Mikael coughed a few more times, then sighed, indicating he was done.
